I would like to share my feedback as it relates to my overall experience with this dealership. While I realize that I will be given the opportunity to provide feedback in some canned survey, I wanted to put in the additional effort to recognize the exceptional customer service that was extended by their staff members. I received a communication for a recall notice from Ford for my 2013 Explorer and promptly scheduled a service appointment. I was assisted immediately by Daryl, who in turn, ordered the needed part and called me to confirm the appointment. Later, I dropped off my vehicle, was escorted to Enterprise where I picked up my rental car, and received a follow up call from Daryl midway through the day informing me that my vehicle was ready for pick up. In retrospect, I was very satisfied with Daryl’s facilitation of the entire ordeal. He was very accommodating, personable, and eager to assist- characteristics that are not as prevalent in the service industry. His professionalism and promptness in delivering results certainly left a positive impression on me. I had leased my 2013 Explorer almost a year ago and was assisted by Wissama and Bassam, who were also extremely pleasant to deal with. They ensured that I was content with my lease and provided support along the way. Each of them went out of their way to guarantee that I had a satisfactory customer experience. I am aware that most people are quick to voice discontent and not as many will express their gratification for above-and-beyond service, so, here’s to doing my part in changing that trend. The staff members that I encountered at this dealership definitely deserved the added effort.

Just purchased a 2015 Ford Taurus from Fairlane last week. The salesman I dealt with (Abdo Sahili) is the best and most professional salesmen I have ever dealt with. He was honest and I didnt feel pressured to buy/lease a vehicle. He explained everything as far as rebates, deals and other information that sometimes confuse customers. I used to hate the process of buying a vehicle and dealing with dealerships, but Abdo Sahili changed that for me. Even after I purchased my vehicle, I thought I had an issue with the car and gave him a call. he went the extra mile to assist me with what I thought was a defect which wasnt. Another salesmen wouldve told me to speak to the maintenance department, but not Abdo Sahili. Give him a call and I am sure he wont disappoint you.

I went there because my car broke down out of town so I did not have tools to repair it myself. I have a 2007 Mustang, and I needed to have an alternator installed. $628.90 later, it is installed. A new alternator costs between $100 and $200 and on a 2007 Mustang, V6, only takes about half an hour to install. I get charged $628.90! A total screw job is what this is. Even if an alternator costs $300 (like they claim on the bill), an extra 1/2 hour job is not $328.90! I would NEVER recommend ANYONE from ever going here. I am currently looking into how to get into touch with Ford to let them know of this rip-off joint. I was planning on buying another Ford Mustang, but this experience has more than likely changed my mind. VERY Disappointed!!

Fairlane Ford deserves a 5 star review for the one sales consultant, Abdo Sahili, that showed what GREAT customer service skills really mean. The customer service of the dealership as a whole was merely par. However, Ford Motor Company as a whole did not seem to value me as customer; when I explained my issue to Ford customer service, I was returned with very little sympathy and no options. I was left without a car for a month and not given the option of a rental or any reimbursement for the rental or my lease. I was initially told that the car would be repaired in a week. Once they realized that they needed one to two months to completely fix, I was forced to extend my rental at my own expense.

I took my fusion to the service department 4 times for the same issue (a random set of windows doesnt respond to any commands). Last time, the service rep recognized it as a national issue and said that ford has a resolution. After 2 days with my car in service, I call to check on the status, and the service rep tells me that the windows worked before the tech checked them and for that reason they cant change the usual modules they change everytime. He suggested I keep my car there until one of the windows stops working (genius). Now another window is not working, and I am not taking it to them. I just cant wait to get rid of this car and never get ford again.

I received a letter to take my 2010 Ford Fusion in for a recall. Rob (service advisor) let me know that the part was on back order and that my car would be there for at least two weeks. I was provided with a rental for the time my car was being serviced. I appreciated the concern for my safety and the consideration of me needing transportation. I was taken by shuttle to pick up the rental. My car was ready in less than 2 weeks. Once again, I was satisfied with the service at Ford Fairlane. Darryl made sure I got out quickly when I picked up my car. I cant say enough about the courtesy and caring attitude of all the staff.

I took my 2013 Taurus in with, what I thought, minor engine issues. After handing it over to the Service team, it quickly turned in to much more than I had bargained for. My Service Adviser, Steve, assured me they would get to the bottom of the issue as quickly as possible. Despite some major repairs (and repair costs,) and having my car in the shop for just over a week, I didnt have a single worry. Steve and his team were transparent, responsive, thorough and just generally great dudes. This was my first time working with Fairlane Ford, and as long as I live in Michigan, I dont plan on ever going to another dealer.

You can pull right up tot he service lanes to drop your car off here. Some mornings there can be a bit of a wait, but I found 8:30 to usually be a sweet spot. If you work in the area, they will offer a courtesy shuttle to take you to and from work while they are working on your car. I had some amazing service with my recent oil change & tire rotation for "The Works". I needed some minor vacuuming, and not only did the staff at Fairlane throw that in for free, but they also washed my car. The staff here was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel like a valued customer.

I came in with my Ford Taurus for the standard oil change. Things went well and on the projected timetable of the technician. Please do share with all your staff that its never who sells the car or what car is sold, but its the ongoing service after the sale that truly counts and determines where any future car transactions (sales/services) to be done. Even though my car is very old, its the service that keeps bringing me back due to the valuable trust that has been put forth by the Service Department!

Went in for oil change and tire rotation. Was told the tire rotation was not done because they didnt know where the wheel lock key was located. No one asked me where it was. I was sitting in the waiting area the entire time. The manager said I could still get it done but I wasnt able to wait any longer. I do plan to come back for the rotation but the person waiting on me should have taken the time to ask where the wheel lock key was. I generally have very good service but this time they dropped the ball.
