I purchased a 2010 pre owned certified GMC sierra 1500 in May of 2014 from this dealership. The salesman was David Lee. I discovered the truck online on a friday evening. I called the dealership and asked them if they could hold it while I came up to look at it the next day. The dealership was 4.5 hours away but the price was right and it had every add on that I was looking for. I came up and purchased the truck with little issues. David taped my permit on my rear window and instructed me to not use a knife when I pull the permit off or I could damage the defrosting strips that run along the rear window. When it came time for me to remove the permit I did as David instructed and did not use any tools, I just tore the permit in half and pulled it back to peal the tape off. Everything was fine with my truck until this December. After reading the manual I noticed that it is suggested to lower the spare tire and lubricate the linkage so the linkage does not seaze up and the tire gets stuck. I went to get my spare tire kit out to lower the tire and discovered I did not have a spare tire kit or jack. I purchased a GMC CERTIFIED PRE OWNED VEHICLE that had a 200 and something point inspection. They obviously didnt check for a jack or spare tire kit. Good thing I wasnt on the side of the road when I discovered I needed the spare tire kit! We had our first snow/rain storm in December and my windows began to fog up, so I turned on the defrosters. I then discovered the whole middle section of my window defrosters did not work. After further investigating I found that chunks of the meta heating strips on my window were missing on each side of where David taped the permit to my window. The tape pealed off the heating lines! I began calling the dealership about both of the above issues. I spoke with David several times and each time he said he would get with the manager. A week would go by and he would not return my phone call so I would call again. One time we talked he requested pictures, so I asked him to text me so I had his number so I could send hium the pictures. 3 Days later I called again and first thing he said was "I was waiting on you to send those pictures!" I reminded him that he was suppose to text me so I had his number (Which he never did) and his response was Oh. After another couple week of phone tag I called the sales manager direct. I did not get him but I left voice mail. Another 2 days went by and I called the sales manager again, with no answer. I left another voice mail. 2 Hours later David called me back and informed me that they would do the necessary repairs to the vehicle, but I had to bring it to their dealership. I live 4.5 Hours away from their dealership, so it would be extremely inconvenient and expensive to drive there. I asked if a local dealership could perform the service and they said they did not want to do that. I is possible for them to do it, but they choose not too. I then asked if they could itleast mail me the spare tire kit, which was also a no. THEY SAID I HAD TO DRIVE UP TO GET THE SPARE TIRE KIT. They would not ship the kit to me. They basically knew I would not drive up for these items. I have spoke with GMC customer service and it appears that Shelton screwed me in the right way, and theres nothing that can be done. Since it is not warranty work GMC cannot force the issue. I am very dissapointed in the GMC customer care because Shelton is painting a very bad name for GMC, and they should fix the issue if Shelton wont. I still have a case open with GMC customer care and I hope they will be able to persuade Shelton to cover the repairs from a local dealership. To order a new jack and jack handles is appx $380, and the window is probably another $300-$400. Do not buy anything from Shelton Buick GMC, especially if you are not local. They know I will probably never return as a customer so they are just blowing me off. This is the first time I bought a vehicle from a dealership, and it may very well be my last.

I brought my vehicle to Shelton Buick because the check engine light was on and the vehicle was getting stuck in gear, clearly a transmission issue. Service Consultant Marc Cortopassi advised me that the issue may or may not be covered under the extended warranty. Thankfully the transmission issue was covered. When I picked up my vehicle, Mr. Cortopassi informed me that the service technician advised him that while conducting a road test on my vehicle the ABS and Stabiltrack sensor notification lights were on. I told Mr. Cortopassi that those indicator lights were never on and why were they on after I had my vehicle serviced at Shelton Buick. Mr. Cortopassi said he isnt sure. I took my vehicle to a local service center and the service technician advised me that after they scanned the system, the ABS and Stabilitrack sensor code was traced to an unplugged wire. They also told me that the brake fluid reservoir cap was missing and fluid had spilled all over the engine compartment. The cap was then located on top of the transmission. Its a shame that I had to pay money for someone else to tell me what Shelton Buick failed to do. I feel that since my initial repair was covered under the warranty , Shelton Buick deliberately left the wires unplugged and the cap off to 1) Get me to pay for diagnosing the problem or 2)Doing damage to my vehicle in order to get me to pay for the repairs either way, its was wrong and I am done with the Shelton Buick and their antics. This is totally unacceptable. FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO GET YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED. ZERO STARS

Purchased a new 2015 Sierra 2500 HD Denali from here. Paid cash and started having issues right off the lot. Brakes squeezing and the sales lady said its probably just rust from sitting. Never offered to take it in to look at it. Then a center cap and off one tire and she insisted someone stole it! As if only one? Finally got them to cover that. The brakes have been looked at a few times they say they cleaned and adjusted, however they still squeak. I think its a stuck caliper on passenger rear. There is noise in the door gasket they call an itching sound. That is still not fixed. They first tried some jelly like lube and didnt say what they did. I grabbed the door and I got it on my hand. Not an acceptable fix! So its been in for that and a noise in front end they cant do anything about. Intermediate shaft and GM knows about this. I keep getting told its not a safety issue and there is no fix. They just squeeze lube in it. Works until it wears out. I got GM involved and now the dealer said they fixed it. No they did not as I was pulling out they heard the noise. This is how you treat a customer who dropped 60k plus with you? Also when getting my oil changes no one ever mentioned or offered to change the air filter! Hmmm crappy service for sure!
