Before writing this review I made sure to double check the address of this dealership, because indeed there are many in the Wayne County Area with the same name as this one. After verifying it was in fact this dealership with both the address on the bill of sale we received from them, and google maps/satellite I felt comfortable to give a review of my experience. We (my mom bought it for me) bought my first car here. We bought the Honda civic on Saturday and literally the day after we bought it it started overheating (on Sunday). We brought it back to them and they "fixed" it. A few weeks later it started leaking oil. We brought it to a certified dealership to get a complete diagnostics on the car and they said the cost to repair it would be about $5,000. More than what I paid for the car! I ended up selling it on craigslist to a gentleman willing to make the repairs on it, and lost out on $2000. Do not go to them! If you are looking for a car go to a certified dealership. Save everything you can, ride the bus, ask for a ride just do whatever you can until you can afford to go somewhere else. People work hard for the money they have and if you want something reliable, I urge you, do not waste your money here.

The best used car lot we have been to is Platinum auto sales in Dearborn. We went to a few others before coming here , in search of the same vehicle. Some didnt want to do repairs before we even purchased the vehicle , others changed the price once they found out we wanted to finance. We came here and we got a great quality vehicle , great price and great customer service. We would highly recommend them to anyone that asks about our vehicle or looking for one. Platinum auto sales in Dearborn went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied.They are not just concerned with selling a vehicle , but customer satisfaction. Im a young person so I dont have much credit history...it was difficult for me to get approved for much of anything but they worked with me. I was able to basically choose which car I wanted and I was down to three that I wanted. Slim was such a great help and was able to get me approved for one of the three that I really like. I personally would not buy a vehicle from them. I bought a truck 4 months ago and its already in the shop with engine problems, easily exceeding 1000 dollars in repairs. If i was looking at this i would take what im saying into serious advisement before making a decision on purchasing a vehicle from platinum auto!
