I drove 2.5 hours to this dealer trying to buy an elusive all-new 2015 GMC Canyon they had in stock. Much to my dismay, due to a misunderstanding with the person I spoke with on the phone, the truck I drove there for was not there, they had a similar truck but not the exact one I had called about!! I was NOT happy. That being said, the dealer staff was very apologetic and went above and beyond to assure me they would do their best to find me the truck I wanted right there and then. They contacted several dealerships trying to find the truck I was looking for. After several attempts, an available truck was located and we worked out a deal that very same day. In short, they turned what could have been a horrible customer experience into a very positive one. They ended up swapping one of their trucks with a dealer in Tampa, Florida that had the truck I was looking for. I mention this because my local dealer was NOT willing to find me a truck farther than about 200 miles away. In other words, my local dealer never considered getting a truck from as far away as Tampa but Jimmy Britt Chevrolet did just that. A couple days after our initial visit, my elusive truck was delivered to us all the way from Tampa. The finance manager was easy to work with and offered to help should any issues come up - even issues outside financing. The entire staff made us feel like they want to keep you as a customer for longer than a single sale. It was a pleasant shopping experience with none of the usual high-pressure tactics and craziness you can find at some dealers. Everyone we dealt with was professional and helpful. In short, Im glad I made that 2.5 hour drive each way.

What a great car buying experience for us. We were searching for a specific car, not in a big rush to find it, and knowing that finding the exact car we wanted would be difficult. After weeks of checking the online car buying web sites, we found our car at Jimmy Britt. It was seven hours away from us, but it was the one we wanted, and advertised at a fair price. Brandon was quick to respond to my online inquiry, and since the listing was brand new, there were no photos posted yet. Mr. Welch immediately went out to the car and filmed a complete walkaround inspection, inside and out, and posted it to YouTube so I could see the car. Brandon was super friendly and was able to communicate with us via text messages for quick stuff, and phone calls when we were ready to actually start talking numbers and working the deal. I dont think I actually talked to him on the phone until we were ready to do decide if they were shipping it or if we were driving to get it. Financing took all of 5 minutes on our part. A quick online application consisting of about 4 questions, and then texting Brandon a copy of insurance card and drivers license. We drove 7 hours to pick up the car the next morning and Brandon was pulling it around from the detail shop as we arrived. A very quick in and out to handle the paperwork and we were back on the road to drive back home. The exact car we wanted. A fair price. A friendly salesperson with zero pressure sales tactics. A friendly finance manager who didnt try to push us when we declined all the add-on coverage options. I simply could not ask for an easier car buying experience.

There is a very good reason Jimmy Britt Chevrolet is so highly rated. Their customer service exceeds our expectation of the industry standard. I found my truck on Autotrader and contacted Jimmy Britt to see what they could do for me. Within 30 minutes I was in touch with Eric Luke. He and the rest of the staff had an out the door price for me that was far below every other dealership in the U.S. When I heard the price I was surprised and placed my deposit. After that I purchased my tickets to fly from TX to GA and asked if they could provide transportation, again they delivered and had someone there waiting when I landed. The overall process was painless and even though I traveled 1,000 miles it was still a better experience than buying from any local dealership. Prior to my arrival everything from documentation to On Star was set up. When I arrived Eric and the rest of the staff quickly handled the admin stuff and then Eric sat down with me in the truck to set up On Star and shower me all the gadgets and systems. Again a first for me buying a new vehicle. (The last place I bought a vehicle (Toyota) the salesman never left his desk and simply handed me the keys and shook my hand after the sale.) So if youre looking for a great deal from the best sales and support staff GM has to offer I advise contacting Jimmy Britt. Ive never been this satisfied with a vehicle purchase!

Called this dealership last night in reference to a vehicle they had for sale with no pictures. Informed the salesman I spoke with about my 3 week search trying to find this vehicle and asked was it the color and 6 speed manual. After he confirmed this, I told him I was already approved through my bank with more than enough to purchase the car and all I needed was pictures. He took down my email address and verified it back to me and told me that he would send out pictures and more information on the vehicle tonight, as well as made a appt to come see him at 3:30 the next day. I never received any pictures or additional information on the vehicle. So this morning around 8:20 am, I contacted the sales person again, only to be told a guy placed a 1,000.00 dollar deposit on it from Ohio this morning, and he was coming to pick up either this weekend or sometime next week. All I was waiting on was pictures to ensure it was the vehicle I wanted, which wasnt posted on their website until this morning. Having 4 vehicles that I own already, I can clearly say this is my first time ever dealing with a situation like this. If this is the way this car dealership operates with customers ready to buy the car outright, then Im pleased that I didnt have the opportunity to purchase that car or any other from them. Ill take my business elsewhere. Retired Service member.

My wife and I were traveling home to Tennessee from Augusta on Monday in our super reliable 2005 Toyota Hylander , which has over 310,000 miles on it, when the reliability gave out with us as we were traveling up I-20. A bread truck driver coming out of Dennys at Exit 138 told us about Jimmy Britt Chevy at exit 130, so we carefully motored up the I eight more miles. It was about 3:00 in the afternoon. The reception we received from the three folks in the Service Department, Keisha, Justin , and another fine helpful young lady whose name I cant remember, was above and beyond. Justin ( I hope that I remembered his name correctly) promptly got on the ball and got our car in. When it was realized that we would have to wait on a part and have to stay overnight, Keisha got on the phone and made us a reservation at The Lodge over in Eatonton. And we were also provided a loaner for the night. The mechanic, by the way, was also on the ball, and even stopped by the parts place on his way to work Tuesday so that there would be no further delay. I cannot overstate how great the experience was. Were home. The car is running great. And these wonderful folks turned a bad situation into a memorable experience. Oh, and by the way, we were not overcharged. The pricing on the service was right in line with what I expected. Take care , folks. And a big THANKS.
