I had a meeting with the manager Melody, 5 days ago, to get a quote on flowers for my wedding. After making me wait for twenty minutes looking at books (because an employee was running late), we finally sat down for an hour and discussed everything. She told me that I would be emailed the cost the next day. I never got it and so i called the store. Come to find out, she had the day off. So I was never going to get it. Ok.... now 2 phone calls later, still no response. There is no way that Im using them. Go to affordable flowers on woodward instead. They saw me without an appointment and I got my quote before I left the store! They were also extremely accommodating and actually affordable. Moral of my story... dont go to thrifty!

I threw a surprise party for my husband and had Thrifty arrange and deliver the flowers to the event. When I arrived, I was blown away by the arrangements - and so were my guests! Everyone wanted to know where I had them arranged. Fran the floral designer at Thrifty did a fanstastic job!! The arrangements were well priced and looked like they cost a fortune. They were so well put together - very artistic and stately. I will be back!

Given this place LOTS of business but after my last trip there will not return. I was the only person in store with 3 employees and my request to put plant in a pot was greeted as an inconvenience at best. Not only that they proceeded to charge my all these extra fees....was not happy! What happened to customer service?

I was looking for poinsettias after New Year and thought all was lost until I went to Thrifty Florist in Birmingham. Not only did I find beautiful poinsettias, they were Free! What a wonderful surprise and delight!! The staff was helpful and very friendly. Highly recommend and I will be back

Flowers were not in good shape. Some communication problems between store and recipient. Unfortunately I think there are better options and better pricing around Birmingham than this store provides.

Absolutely will never buy from them! Product looks like a good quality, but when I looked for help I was told it was a busy day for them!!!!
