MY FIANCEE WAS JUST RELEASED FROM A 2 WEEK STAY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN HOSPITAL FOR PNEUMONIA, THE FLU/ H1N1, AND FLUID IN BOTH LUNGS. BEFORE HIS DISCHARGE I WENT TO AMERICAN FREIGHT AND ORDERED AN BEDROOM SET AND A LIVING ROOM SET. BEFORE I WENT TO THE STORE I CALLED AND ASKED COULD I HAVE SAME DAY DELIVERY, I WAS TOLD YES. I PAID OVER 1,000.00 FOR ALL MY ITEMS. I WAS TOLD THAT EVERYTHING WILL BE DELIVERED SAME DAY BY 8PM. BY 8:30PM I CALLED THE COMPANY TO FIND OUT THAT MY ITEMS WOULD NOT BE DELIVERED UNTIL THE NEXT DAY. MY FIRST CALL FROM THE DELIVERLY MEN WAS AT 9AM THE NEXT MORNING AND I WAS TOLD THAT MY ITEMS WOULD BE THERE BY 10AM, WITCH WAS GOOD BECAUSE I WOULD STIL BE ABLE TO MAKE MY FINACEE DISCHARGE FROM THE HOSPITAL. THE DELIVERY MEN DIDNT SHOW UNTIL NOON, NOR DID THEY SET ANYTHING UP. ONCE THEY WERE GONE I TRIED TO HOOK UP MY HEADBOARD TO NOTICE THAT I HAD NO BOLTS. BECAUSE OF MY FINACEE NEED OF HELP TODAY (2/17/11) WAS THE 1ST CHANCE I HAD TO HOOK THE DRESSER AND TRY AGAIN WITH THE HEADBOARD, AND TO MY SUPRISE THERE WAS A HOLE IN THE BACK OF MY DRESSER THE SIZE OF A FOOTBALL. THIS WAS THE LAST STRAW FOR ME SO I CALLED AND ASKED MAY I HAVE A REPLACEMENT (MIND U I PAID FOR A 5YR WARRANTY) AND I WAS TOLD IT WAS PAST 24 HOURS. SO AFTER BEING ON THE PHONE WITH THE MANAGER FOR OVER 35 MINS. I SAID I WANT TO RETURN EVERYTHING AND JUST GET MY MONEY BACK AND I WAS TOLD THEY WONT TAKE IT BECAUSE THEY DONT SELL REUSED ITEMS. THIS COMPANY CLEARLY DOESNT KNOW THE MEANING OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THE ONES THAT KEEP THEM IN BUSINESS. I WOULDNT ADVISE ANYONE TO EVER SPEND A PENNY WITH THIS COMPANY FOR NOTHING. IM SURE YOU WONT BE HAPPY.

Absolutely terrible. I went in on August 8th to buy furniture for my college apartment. The sleazeball who sold my mom and I the furniture said the couch we ordered would FOR SURE be arriving in a shipment on August 12th and then another on the 19th because it was in such high demand. Delivery was scheduled for August 27th. The morning of delivery we received a phone call stating the couch wasnt in stock. We went to the store to figure out why we never received a call prior to delivery day to make a different selection. The incompetent staff couldnt really reply. We chose a different couch to be delivered on Monday August 29th with my bed and bed frame. We were told the delivery would for sure come that day when American Freight called. They deliver until 8 and at 830, after waiting hours for a delivery, we decided to leave. We never received a phone call saying they were running late and would not be able to deliver. Also, READ THE FINE PRINT ON THE RECEIPT. We made the mistake of not doing this, and they refuse to process a return for your money until after 30 days of the purchase. So now school is starting and I have no furniture and cannot get a refund for another week.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! I would give negative if possible. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSE WHERE!!!! I went in to purchase the sofa that i had on layaway. The original gentlemen that made the sale was not there as i found out later, that he is a manager at another location, unfortunately for me. On this day i was met by Bill and John. i asked a few questions about switching to a different couch, got a weird vibe from them, the kid, john, has no tact and is extremely arrogant. when i look at Bill and ask if thats OK, he giggles and says he doesnt see what the problem is. I say OK, i dont feel comfortable dealing with you two, i need a refund. That all happened on April 22, 2016. Today is May 18, 2016. STILL NO REFUND. call the store and corporate today and after spending more than 2 hours combined time on the phone JUST to finally figure out what they did and when they did it.... ask yourself, if something goes wrong with your experience at this establishment, how do you think theyre going to treat you??? As a Veteran who cares deeply about my nation and the people in it, experiences like this disgust me.

OMG HORRIBLEEEEEEE HORRIBLE customer service. My best friend brought matress from them and put it on layway and she paid $200 for layaway and they told her its gonna be ready in 7 days so that 7th day she took time off work so she can do the moving and pick the mattress up. So that 7th day they tell her they dont have it and it will be ready in few days and we were like no thats what you said before and you never have it ready. So I call after she calls and talks to them so iam like we want our money back and we want nothing to do with you. We read reviews and you guys are horrible customer service. They didnt care they kept making excuses and told her ok we have another mattres for you to choose from or you can wait till friday. My friend said fine i will take this because if i wait till next friday I know it wont be here as always. Anyways it was annoying. this place is a rip off and i hope it shuts down soon. they dont care about customers all they care that they got the money. DO NOT SHOP THERE AND IF YOU DO DONT SAY WE DID NOT WARN YOU

MR.DOUG TROUT, was very helpful to me and my wife. we were just sad that you cant buy a floor model unless it is out dated...it is sept 10 2015 i ordered my item on sept 03 2015 i have not heard from the store so i thought i would call and see what may be happening with my purchase.sadly the store manager did no even know what was up with my goods .i was placed on hold three times so he could investigate my purchase.now all of a sudden it may turn up in his store tomorrow...we will see..im saddened by the turn of events...i thought i would be at least kept informed as to my purchase..

good price on some stuff... the delivery gave me a time to wait for them and I had to give them several calls for a few hours until I got my purchase! Among the furniture that I bought from this store, there were a mattress and box spring. After a few months sleeping on the bed, I found the box spring making noise while rolling on the bed. I called them and the manager kindly allowed me to swap the box spring with a new one. I appreciated their service.. But guess what?! Same problem happened to the new box spring after a couple of months of using it. Very unhappy with my purchase!

Please be aware if they tell you your delivery is supposed to be in the afternoon be prepared for NO phone calls, and a possible delivery by 8 pm. YOU will have to reach out to them... Truly nothing against the owner himself and the sales people are kind and courteous and your sales and purchase experience is completely different from your end result dealing with the separate company they use for deliveries. They are completely unprofessional if you have a set time for delivery in the evening be prepared for next day and a lot of excuses from this separate company..
