I bought a Queen size pillow top mattress there about a year and a half ago when I moved back to Michigan from California and let me tell you...it was just a great experience all the way around. Like another customer pointed out, they dont hound you and follow you around hovering like hawks trying to push you into buying things youre clearly not ready to buy...the staff is professional, yet laid back and down-to-earth (easy to talk freely with) and they seem to know the business well. The mattress I bought is literally the best mattress Ive ever owned, hands down. I bought the more expensive one, but it was worth every penny... and it still looks just like it did the day I bought it. Im on my way back to American Freight right now for a set of tables to match my living room couches!

Do not buy here. Purchased simmons love seat and couch. Also purchased bedroom furniture for my son and I. I spent over 3000 dollars. The couches peeled after a less than a year. The bedroom furniture is garbage, falling apart after a year. The delivery me suck. They dropped off all my furniture and did not unwrap any of it. Im pretty sure they were some crack heads they just hire on daily pay basis. Dont bother purchasing the warranty. Theyll give you the run around until late you just give up. If you enjoy wiping your rear with money, shop here. If in you enjoy throwing your money bon fires, shop here. If you want junkies in your home, shop here. If you are in the mood for your fart box to be crushed, shop here. If you want great service and quality product, go to gardner white.

this is a good furniture store if you are running-out of time and in urgent need - people good, they try to accommodate. Real hate point is the assembly and delivery company (called C & G delivery) - the so-called owner of this delivery company named "David Andrews" is the worst service provider so far Ive hired in my life, he rudest at the limit - doesnt have any value for customers time and money. Probably, he severely mental sick who vents frustration on his job and customer. Ill never recommend this company if they still have C & G delivery and this guy working there. He will make your life hell, but calling randomly to come for assembly and not picking-up your phone when needed,

I went to american fright Thursday and ordered and Payed for my king mattress and box frames. Today is sunday my mattress wad suose to be delivered Saturday so yesterday I stayed home all day and no mattress came and no call to explain why and what happened. They took my money I am the customer I need my mattress my and my husband just moved in are home so we slept on the couch last night waiting for something just disappointed and now still waiting on valentines day and they dont oen till twelve how long will I wait today.... I had a sofa and loveseat in the layaway for 6 months was happy to get out paid $70 to deliver 10 minutes to my home. Two nasty guys delivered the furniture I ask could you please put the old furniture in the basement for $20 flat out said No even when I said I had no help. Then said eveybody ask cannot stop. They would not help a 50 year old woman. Then the furniture was irregular one side longer than the other, sent pictures never heard back. Just go to Art Van you get what you pay for.

We bought a couch & 2 recliners last November 2010 . They didnt have out couch our salesman called all over for use to have our furniture on time. They delivered it early move the couch pit we had & gave us discount on the delivery because we accepted it earlier than we asked for. I have also bought a dinning set from them which I love. Twice they have went out of their way to make us happy. We are now shopping for 2 different bedroom suits & we will start with American Freight first!

I purchased a couch here and was told if any minor wear and tear occurs my couch was covered under warranty and I would receive another couch ......no one called and to communicate the status of my claim at all.....recently called and Kal was talking over me and told me I have to wait 4 weeks to receive anything and I proceeded to ask a question and he hung up. I will never purchase anything from this company again horrible warranty process

Ive been buying furniture from American Freight now for 3 years, every piece of furniture purchased was cheaply made. I bought a leather sectional that is peeling same with the love seat and sofa, my coffee table is very wobbly the screws wont stay tight, the dining room chairs are wobbly the screws wont stay tight. You get what you pay for! American Freight will not ripped me off any more. I am not buying furniture every year.

I had a great experience! The staff is wonderful! Originally Kahl helped us and was very knowledgeable on any concern or question we had. Purchased 2 Brazilian pick pocket sofas. Love them, when they were delivered one of them had a crack on the wood trim, I contacted them and they said sofa would be replaced, no delivery fee again. They kept their word. This speaks volumes about the INTEGRITY of this company.....<3

Bought a living room set here, great price and quick delivery. Granted I only live a few blocks away, but my furniture was in my living room within 30 minutes of paying for it. I did a lot of shopping around, nobody else has this many options for those on a tight budget. For under $700 you have ten plus options for a couch/love seat combo, all comfy name brand stuff.... I would shop here again in a heartbeat!

I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!! OUR SALESMAN WAS SO IN A RUSH TO GET A SALE HE FAILED TO EXPLAIN THERE RETURN POLICY!!!! CHANGED MY MIND 2DAYS AFTER PURCHASING BECAUSE I FOUND A BETTER DEAL AND QUALITY AT ART VAN AND WAS TOLD AFTER I GAVE THEM $300 CASH THAT I HAD TO WAIT 2 TO 4 WEEKS TO GET A CHECK FROM THEM. Paid up front nearly $2000. Had to wait a whole month for delivery. My lamps were broken, My glass for dining room table was chipped. And they didnt deliver one box spring. Told me it would be delivered the next day. Two days later still not delivered. Wont be getting my business again Or my recommendation.Very disorganized and delivery is unprofessional. Sad.

I went into the store to try and get some furniture and the entire time the sales man who claimed hes the assistant manager was trying to get my number and ask me out. Said no several times and told him I was married and he still insisted. I just left because I was so uncomfortable talking to him.
