Sadly, my mom and I were disappointed in the fall tent sale this year. In comparison to 2015, the staff seemed to treat us as more of a nuisance than welcome visitors. At one point, I picked something up and put it down, only to have the staff member in the vicinity come over immediately and straighten the same item! This staff member excused themselves, stating it was their job to touch up the displays. While that might be the case, it made feel like I was in a home with plastic covered furniture. At no point were we asked if we had found everything correctly, which was also a stark difference from 2015. We got a strong feeling that everyone just wanted to lock up and home. In general, the atmosphere seemed to have taken a hit as well. My mom remembered that had been a popcorn machine outside in 2015, and it just seemed like the store was so packed to the gills, we couldnt even move without touching something. Instead of nostalgia, it was merchandise merchandise merchandise. It was the nostalgia that originally brought us back, and this time, we didnt feel it. All and all, while my mom and I used to look forward to this event along with the holiday open house, but after today, we dont know if we will be coming back.

We moved here a few months ago and I was so excited to finally go check out this store. When you walk in, it has a awesome smell and feel that takes you into a cozy country setting. Loved that! BUT the staff ruined that feeling! Very rude and unwelcoming. It was so disappointing. I did notice that they are however very welcoming to a certain type of people. We have been looking for a new church since we moved here too. I wanted to try the towns Methodists church since we are Methodist and there are not a lot of options here. Assuming that the people who go to the town church across the street are the same kind of people who run the general store, I have changed my mind about going to their town church.

I love the Dixboro store! The staff is warm and friendly and I love the ambience of the creaky floors and the location of the store. I used to stop all the time while working at the University of Michigan. I only make it out there once or twice a year now. I love their products and home accessories. In the summe, I love the browse the garden items and listen to the waterfall. They have items at all price points but the furniture and many of the items are a bit pricey. Its worth a visit and they offer some nice sales.

Visited this store on a recent visit to Ann Arbor with family. SO cute! My favorite kind of store. Wandered around looking at all the adorable Christmas and decorating stuff, each cuter than the last! But wait...theres an upstairs?! Oh man I was in heaven. Great selection of gifts, candles, Christmas ANYTHING, collectibles, candy, yummy-smelling hand creams, awesome big clocks...just so much to see! I will definitely go back next time Im in town!

I have never left an online review before, I dont like internet bullies but this place has TERRIBLE customer service! Loved the actual store, very quaint and products were great but getting assistance, even when directly asking for it is another thing completely! Employees were snooty and too busy doing nothing to help. Thanks, I will spend my money elsewhere.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience! We drove 3 hours to look at the furniture brand they carry. The staff was great on the phone and even nicer in person. They were knowledgeable and made the furniture purchase a breeze! Thanks to everyone.

Interesting place with lots of cool Christmas stuff. Much like the tourist type places you find at popular vacation spots. That means its kinda overpriced but still fun to visit.
