My husband and I ordered some amish-built custom oak furniture from here. We spent close to three hours in the store choosing the right styles, wood, colors, etc. for a round table with a butterfly leaf, six chairs, and a sofa table. Bruce was our salesman; and while we hadnt set out with a plan to spend $4,000 that day, we were very excited about the purchase. Approximately 10 weeks later (with no calls to update us on progress in the meantime) our furniture came in and a delivery time was set. My husband met the delivery men at our house and watched as they struggled to assemble our new table. Once the table was fully assembled, it was clear there was a problem. One of the delivery men called someone (Im assuming someone at the store), and my husband could hear them screaming at this delivery man through the phone. Apparently the butterfly leaf (which is stored inside, underneath the table and folds out when needed) couldnt come out. The legs on the base of the table were not wide-spread enough to allow for the leaf to drop in between them in order to unfold. The delivery men put a nice gash in the legs of the table trying to force the leaf, but it wasnt happening. Bruce spoke with my husband and promised to call the manufacturer and get it fixed; he was supposed to call back and let us know what was happening. A week later, no call. Two weeks later, I called him. Bruce said that the manufacturer was building a new top. I responded "Are you sure that will fix the problem, because it seems like the problem is the base - also, your delivery men put a gash in the leg trying to force open the leaf." Suddenly he wasnt sure what they were going to do, but assured me it would be fixed. That was two months ago. I called Bruce back to ask the status two weeks ago, and he promised to call the manufacturer and call me back with an update that week. I still havent heard from him. Im sitting here five months after my original purchase with a table that was very expensive, yet is not fully functional; dealing with a salesman who just pays lip service since the store already has my money and hes already received his commission. I would never order another thing from this store, and I wouldnt recommend anyone else to either - unless youre walking out with what youre purchasing that day. Once theyve gotten your money they have no interest in whether or not youre satisfied.

We recently received our queen latex bed from them. We ordered it on the 31st of March and asked to have it delivered four days later, which gives them enough time to plan if needed. We shared with them that we live in Wyandotte, which is 42 miles from their store. They said they could do it and would do it first thing in the morning to avoid traffic. The owner said the fee would be $60 but then the guy, Sandys son, said $75 :/ So, Monday morning, up early to get here in time for the delivery. On our way here we get a phone call from them asking us if we have anyone to help with the unloading the mattress... So, they tell the delivery guy, who doesnt work there and helps him out when they are in a bind, that its a queen size bed leaving out it is a LATEX bed! They forgot tell him that we are in Wyandotte not Ann Arbor! So, the bed doesnt get delivered until 2pm with one guy. He is driving his personal Chevy Silverado with the bed strapped in the back. We still feel horrible for him :( They Owe Him BIG!!! The reason why there is no delivery guys is because they are all at an apartment site including the owner...supposedly the owner was going to help out his friend to deliver the bed but instead took $35 off of the delivery fee providing us with a $35 check with no name written on it :/ The ONLY reason Im give 4 instead of 3 stars is because we like Sandy and Dave (the delivery guy). We went to the store for the first time a couple of weeks ago and just adored her! After doing some research to find what best fits us, we returned and paid a little over $2,000 for our bed. The owner, and the delivery guys, were all there when we made our purchase. It was discussed openly about the delivery to Wyandotte and being delivered early Monday morning...let down, frustrated and disappointed :( I will add that they did refund us the $75 delivery fee.

Go to this store, and you will have a happy day! I wandered in to kill time, and left feeling like I seriously had met two truly genuine people -- Jesse and Sanjay. Jesse will meander over, provide some tips and tricks to you, and then leave you alone to look without being pestered (unlike other furniture stores). Sanjay, the owner, will be hard at work somewhere helping load/wrap furniture (careful wraps for easy and safe transport), but readily available. I had not intended to buy anything that day, but could not resist one of their unique pieces, a gorgeous italian leather with some history to it told as an incredible story shared by Sanjay. There is absolutely no pressure at this store, only quality, and reasonable prices (and sometimes a fun story!). I have returned to shop for a bed -- beautiful Amish built (havent bought yet, but will). You wont find me in any other furniture store -- Ill go where the genuine people are, at All About Furniture. They make furniture shopping a joy, really. I have never written a review for any store before -- this one deserves it, and Im telling all my friends.

We just had a very large couch delivered from All About Furniture. The two young men were great. I wish I had gotten their names so I could thank them on this site. They tried a few times to get the couch in the front door but we have an entry way area with a door and the couch just could not make the turn, or be put on its end because of an overhead glass lamp. They carried it out the front and around the house and brought it in through the family room door, lifted it over the kitchen counter and sink, through the dining room and the couch made it to the living room. Nothing got damaged. Excellent job guys and thank you. One week later: Well, Ive been back twice to buy another couch and three chairs. Maybe the secret to my happiness is buying floor models. In addition to getting 10% off you know exactly what you are getting. Sandy and Dan were most helpful. The quality of the furniture is wonderful. And again the delivery guys were great. I got their names, for these two deliveries; Robert and Colin. Thanks everyone!

I decided to spontaneously go to the first furniture store that I saw. It turned out to be All About Furniture. First, I told them exactly what I was looking for and I could tell he was listening and he showed me a chair that fit my exact specifications. Then, another employee took me out to try to get this big chair in my car. We tried backseat, we tried trunk, and it wasnt looking promising. But this guy was cracking jokes the whole time and was legitimately one of the nicest people Ive met. Then I went back inside to get my receipt and I had a very nice conversation with the owner about family. This is why online shopping cant take over the world! Places like this, people like this, stories like this. Also, this chair is incredibly comfortable and good for my posture.
