They lied to us!! My husband and I went to Farmers Home Furniture looking for a bed room set. The Sales Consultant (Donna) was very pleasant and a great sales person. We wanted a joint account since we planned on paying the bill together; therefore; we both filled out an application. I asked Donna if they were going to run a credit check, and she informed that they DO NOT go by credit, but by references. We were excited, especially knowing that my husband had an account with them before (was always on time with his payments until it was fully paid for). Once we were done filling out the application, she told us she would give us a call the next morning, but she didnt. So my husband called and spoke with another lady who told him that she could not find our application in the system. My husband had to give all of his information AGAIN over the phone. She then told him that he was approved for $1000. Next day we go to Farmers Furniture to find out that we was not approved at all. We also found out that our application was in fact in system. I found it very bizarre and unprofessional as well. We told the manager who we spoke to over the phone, but they did not attempt to call her to the front (I understand that she was dealing with customer). But still, they should have pulled her to the front to resolve this issue. Couple of days later I got email alert from Credit Karma about my credit being ran by Farmers Home Furniture. Im very pissed off that we were lied to. And I’m sure we are not the only ones that had this issue.

Totally Horrific waste of time!!!! ""I ONLY RATED IT SO I COULD POST THIS"" I went online and did the credit app to save time...so I thought.. I went to the store to pick out a lawnmower for my husbands birthday present "thats what he wanted" Laquita was my sales person, she said everything was fine with our credit app. She gave me a discount on the mower "$1299. Then I was informed that it was a additional $450.00 for the bagger. Ok so that was fine, kind of ridiculous but whatever. Also was informed that the delivery fee was $65.00. I live seriously 2 minutes from there. So I told Laquita that I would get a trailer and pick it up tomorrow. So everything was set-up. Asked about a down payment, was told we didnt need one. The next day I called the store around 12:30 to let Laquita know I was picking up the trailer and filling up the gas can. I will be there around 1pm. Arrived at the store...thats when everything we had discussed the day before had changed. Now I needed a $400.00 down payment. I was not prepared for that, it wasnt ever brought to my attention from the day before. They had plenty of time to call me either the night before or that day when I called them. Needless to say we left without the mower, drove over to walmart and purchased one there with no problems at all. This wasnt the first issue Ive had at this store, but I felt like I needed to post this one.. the whole ordeal was totally unnecessary!

All I have to say is Im glad people told me about this place. Ive never liked Aarons and when I came here, they were great!! VERY inexpensive monthly payments. Aarons was trying to charge me $200 for 1 full size mattress USED. Isnt that illegal? Nevermind the fact Aarons furniture always falls apart. I bought a tv from them one time and I still have it and when I watch tv theres lines coming across the screen and they refused to fix it which was their fault. But anyways. Im paying $94 a month for a couch AND a king size mattress set. Great payments. Something I can actually afford. And theres no down payment so thats always a plus. Nevermind the fact farmers home furniture has great customer service and makes you feel very comfortable on what youre purchasing. I will definitely keep coming here until I have all of the furniture items I need to complete my apartment/future house. Am already recommending this company to others! Never been so pleased by getting furniture. Oh and my credit has been improving tremendously by doing monthly payments on this furniture. Aarons doesnt make your credit better ;) #boycottaarons

I had a great experience when I need to furnish my new apartment. The sales professionals were all very courteous and took time to understand my budget as well what I needed. The one downside was the washer and dryer that we had agreed upon was sold before I was able to finalize my paperwork, but instead of giving me the "tough luck" speech, we came to an agreement on a similar set. Although the new set was slightly more expensive, they gave me a great discount on it to make up for the poor timing of the purchase. Once the ink had dried on the paperwork, they went so far to help me load everything into the U-Haul trailer and make sure the tables were properly secured to they wouldnt slide around or get damaged in transit. Being the signed owner of the tables and wash set, the sales and warehouse team could have left me to load everything by myself, but they all pitched in to make sure everything was properly loaded. I know I will return here next time I need furniture.

Our experience with this business was horrible. We bought a bedroom suit a few months ago. We were informed this specific bedroom suit was no longer going to be sold, so we got it at a very good price. When the bedroom suit was delivered and installed, the frame of the bed was cracked in 4 places, the dresser and night stands were both scratched in multiple places, and there were gummy bears (yes the candy) stuck to the drawers on the foot of the bed. When we called the store associate informed us it was a repossessed suit and was sold as is. When we requested to speak with the manager, we were told he was in a meetif and would called back. 4 months ago to this day he has not returned a call, or spoken to us in store. This company is pathetic and i would NOT suggest it to anybody. It is simply horrible.

Our experience with Farmers Furniture was horrific. The customer service was the worst I have ever experienced. A lady named Donna Moss told me she was the store manager, but wasnt, then blamed us for their store delivering a broken couch and in the wrong color. When I asked for a refund, they credited me $500. back on a $1400 purchase. When I asked for corporate office numbers she played stupid and said she didnt have it and no one there knew it either. Let me mention that I just had a major surgery and I was standing there with drainage tubes still hanging out of my stomach. Now my family is without a couch and still owed $900. I am furious and I wont stop until everyone hears my story and I have all my money back!

I love my Farmers Home Furniture in Winder. I bought a sectioal living room suit there. I was very pleased with the helpful sales people. My application and credit check was done and approved while I looked around. A year later I went and got my husband a lawn mower for fathers day. The sales person was very helpful in working out all the details to add this to my account with no money down. Then because we knew nothing about a riding mower when it was dilervered my sales person made a house call to help us learn to use and get the mower started the first time. Couldnt ask for better service. They will always be my go to for whatever I may need in the future. Thanks for great service and great people.
