My wife and I recently relocated to the Boston area for work and needed to set up a hot spot for our new apartment. I work in marketing, which is a fancy way of saying I have ZERO understanding of technology and can barely work my iPhone7 with out serious help from my wife. While she was getting her hair done at the Aveda salon next door,I decided to go into the Verizon store (sipping tea and gossiping with the other ladies isnt exactly a guys sort of world, ha) when I walked into the Verizon store I was immediately greated By Earl Dauley, complete with a friendly smile and handshake. I explained my problems (we were over using our data and needed to upgrade to a larger plan, as we were using our phones instead of a hard line connection on the daily; needless to say, it was adding up rather quickly). Earl patiently waited as I fumbled through the account passwords and accompanied addresses. He recommended that we go to an unlimited plan (after I ran next door to discuss everything with my wife AND having already changed our plan once before). Earl then walked me through, step by step how to use the router "hot spot" as well breaking down very methodically and patiently, the billing of our plan and how it would affect our next payment (He even recommended a restaurant that I could watch the Hockey game at with a cold beer while my wife finished her appointment) . Its easy to use phrases like customer service and put the customers needs first etc etc, it is entirely different to actually put those statements into practice. I can say with out hesitation or ambivalence, that We are "satisfied Verizon customers" Furthermore, that we whole heartedly recommend Earl Dauley, and his team at the Waltham location to all of our friends and family, we will definitely be returning should future needs arise. Hard to believe anyone rates this store better than a 1. Ordered two iPhones under the Verizon trade in program in September. I know there was a large back order, but no one in the store could give me any update on my order and told me to call Verizon directly. When the phones finally came in six weeks after the original due date (not the order date!) the rebate was messed up because the store messed up the original order. Ive gone into the store several times to try to engage them to fix this with Verizon. I even twice had to sit in the store and call Verizon on my own cell phone and force the store agents to talk to Verizon. Its now several weeks later and nothing has happened. You he store has spreadsheets and lists that resolve nothing. There is no follow up or active engagement in resolving what is now a $350 error on my account. There is never even a store manager available in the store. As to one persons comment on lack of pressure - that made me laugh. I came in for two phones and got a major hard sell to order new phones on all five lines on my account. Save yourself the headache and just order directly from Verizon. At least that way you can deal directly with the seller rather that a store that clearly could care less once the order is submitted. Updated after the store reply: not sure I understand why I need to call customer service after multiple visits to the store in person plus calls to the store. Its now mid December and the issue is STILL unresolved and no one is bothering to follow up. Glad to know my name and order number are still on that spreadsheet. Here is an idea for the store: how about you open the spreadsheet and floor up yourselves with all of the customers whose orders you have messed up?

Cellular Sales is a place to stay far away from. They are fraudulent salespeople who will swindle you to make a sale. I went into the store and dealt with the manager, Corey, and a salesperson named Nicholas LaPaglia. They duped me majorly by giving me misleading and completely incorrect information about pricing for phones. I endded up spending $450 more than I would have wanted to based upon their misleading information. Then, when I called to correct them and ask if they could do something to remedy the situation-- based upon Verizon customer service telling me that the store had misled me and should help me out- they not only refused to admit wrong but told me there was nothing they could do to help. I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau but also hope people see my post to avoid going there and being swindled out of hundreds of dollars and then dealt with disrespectfully. The manager, Corey, didnt even have to decency to call me but rather text. stay far away!!

I just wanted to say. I have never been to a Verizon store that there was no wait time Very friendly, knowledgeable they really care about the customer. Place was spotless. Relaxing atmosphere I used to go to natick mass for years Not anymore you cant beat the service Location. The employees all so nice I had kevin he made my day taking care of my phone and very friendly , Also Kurt was very honest, knowledgeable Making sure we were all set. I just wanted to let people know this place is near market basket in waltham you have to stop by there you will not be disappointed at all. Kevin and Kurt thank you for making every effort to helping us out. You guys are a asset to this company Keep up the great job Glad we stop in I would highly recommend this store For all your services on your phone.

The finely dressed manager named Cory helped me, got me into a brand new phone and saved me 40$ on my monthly bill. If I can tell you one thing, it is that for the foreseeable future, I will be using him as my account manager. He greeted me with a smile and made me a fresh cup of coffee and I felt like I was important, not like how I feel at a corporate store. The time he took to explain everything he was doing was amazing because I usually dont follow everything well. Was very easy to understand what he was doing and what I was paying for. Turns out the plan I was on was so outdated, I was able to get more than double my data for a fraction less. With no doubt in my mind I can say that this was the best cell phone experience I have had, and I will be sending all of my friends and family to Cory.

STELLAR customer service, head and shoulders above any that Ive received at any Verizon store (or almost ANY retailer) Ive experienced. I needed unexpected help due to the "sudden and unexpected death" of my phone as I was rushing down to Hyannis to catch a ferry. It was a Sunday afternoon, and suddenly...there was this store! I pulled in .... in something of a "panic." But within minutes, my worries were no more. Despite it being close to closing time, a wonderfully helpful fellow set to work setting me up with a new phone, with assurances that Id be back on the road with time to spare. And with the added assistance of his two colleagues, that was the case. Theyll be the benchmark against which all others are "judged." Thank you, gentlemen!
