I placed an online order on June 19th. I received an email on the 20th saying my order had shipped. Today is the 25th and I am STILL waiting for a "3 day Priority Shipping" from Maryland and I an just outside of Richmond. I have called and texted asking for a refund and have heard nothing. So, i will be writing the Maryland Better Business Bureau in the area of this storefront to let them know of their unprofessional business practices. I almost ALWAYS read reviews before purchasing anything online and the one time I dont, this happens. I only ordered from their site because I couldnt find the hair I wanted locally. And Im rather frustrated now because it is a black owned store. People are quick to say support black owned businesses bit when you do, you get unanswered emails and calls, no products, charged credit card and other fraudulent activities. I am going to see if I can press charges for them stealing. Because taking someones money and not giving them the product is in fact stealing. I couldnt just walk into their store, pick out what I need and leave without going to jail, as such, they shouldnt be allowed to take someones money. Will absolutely never order from here again. And I think all of the 5 stars are fronts from people the owner knows. Word of mouth is key and I will be spreading the word!

What do I have to say about Luxe Beauty I would never tell anyone to shop here EVER!. Yes this is a black owned business but the owner of the company treats her employees like crap. For the Owner (the lady in the store) to fire her employers for no reason what so ever then to have money taken out of our paychecks is ODD then when we ask to see our hours form our previous work hours we get cussed at and called MONKEYS!!! As a black young women Ive never had a experienced a job like this in my Life!!!! I wouldnt take my worst enemy there. She told us to LIE to the customers about several different things. We had little training the she expects for us to know things about products WITHOUT any knowledge. She takes several weeks to ship out online orders so when we get calls about orders we get cussed out by online customers because she isnt doing her JOB! Search her business on the Better Business Bureau website the grading of the store is an F!!! Long story short yes I support black business owner especially women. This isnt one of those places my family friends etc. would support ever in like .EVERYBODY DO YOUR RESEARCH PLEASE !

This is my third time placing an order with this site. I live in Northern, CA and I always receive my orders within 3-4 days. This site has the fastest shipping I have ever experienced. Unlike some of the other hair sites I have ordered from, their stuff is in stock and on the shelf, so they can ship it to you right away. I decided against the braids I had in my hair on Tuesday, placed my order on Wednesday, and had my package in hand on Saturday to wear my wigs to my graduation on Sunday. I love receiving emails from them, they always have a lot of new arrivals and sometimes some great customer appreciation coupons. All in all, I love this site, they have everything I need to switch my style up. Their stuff is true to description, and high quality. Luxe also has never let me down, and gets my items to me in quicker and more reliable than any other site, and believe me I have ordered from them all (2 of them I had to even report to BBB because they take your money, dont answer the phone and wont ship to time). Luxe has me so spoiled I wont even drive 15 minutes anymore to my local beauty supply store. Thanks Luxe!

There was never a typical day at the job. Nothing was ever planned. Everything was out of order and dysfunctional. Owner doesnt train properly nor communicate well. Worked there for 2 months and was never trained properly but was expected to act as an manager. Owner leaves you in the store by yourself a week after you have been "properly trained". She plays with your hours and pays you less than what you have worked within the pay period time frame. Pay starts off less than minimum wage and raises are only 50 cents. Owner goes on vacation without telling anyone she will be leaving. Expects you to lie to customers about their online orders. Owner never takes the fall for anything. Talks to you like youre an child and dont know what you are doing. Level of disrespect is really high, Owner doesnt like being criticized or hearing feedback about what a terrible job she is doing. I advise anyone to never work here. She fires you over text messages and doesnt explain as to why you are being fired. also she shorts your paychecks and doesnt explain why she does it.

August 2017 - The store clerk was very helpful and took time to answer my questions. However, the in-store policies were quite odd! The store clerk told me that it was against store policy for customers to physically handle any wig product that was on display in the store without assistance. Later, I asked the store clerk if I could take a picture of a wig product in which I was interested, so that I could recall it upon my return to the store on a different date. I was immediately told by (whom appeared to be the manager/owner) that "No pictures were allowed to be taken anywhere in the store." I have never personally heard of such a foolish policy in any public store! Is this even permitted by law? Come on now? Really? I would like to support black-own businesses, particularly in the area of beauty supplies. I feel that this stores business policies and practices reflect a suspicion that customers are potential miscreants. This is very sad and unfortunate!

Ive been to Luxe twice since its opened and made purchases each time. Ive even encouraged my family to support them because its a brand new business + owned by an African American woman (rare)! All of the employees are friendly except for this male employee I dont know his name (lighter skin tone + dresses like a female with long hair extensions). My first time visiting the store he acted as if I was bothering him when I asked for help. My second time visiting the store, he was out on the floor and didnt greet me as I came in, or didnt ask me if I needed help. He was standing by the door as I exited and said nothing. The prices are higher at Luxe but I shopped there for a better customer service experience than a typical beauty supply store. I will now being going to the lower priced beauty supply stores with poor customer service. If I have no choice but to expect poor customer service...Id rather save money while doing it.

I should have read reviews before ordering online so am counting my losses heading to the local beauty stores and picking whichever hair I can for Easter and my birthday am really disappointed I ordered from them because I couldnt find a particular hair anywhere.....made my order on the 15th I was informed the colour wasnt available I changed the colour ,then was told the colour I want was Availabe the next day only for me to ask for progress on the 21st because I couldnt track the shipment on the tracking no. They sent I emailed and when I tracked again my supposed package was delivered to the post office that day the 21st at 6.50 pm actually I dont think that tracking no. Is for my order ... Today is the 24th theres nothing no one picks calls or responds to my email I called the store and got no help just a rude response from a male who picked up
