First, I have to say that Ramon and his team provided premium customer service through this intensive repair project, and the end product is beautiful!! I chipped my main stone, which required completely remaking the band/setting to fit the corrected stone. Additionally, we decided to have 2 diamond - half eternity - bands made that were customized to fit around the ring as my wedding band pairing. Initially, I actually accidentally mixed up another silver spring jeweler with them that was listing under Google Maps for Silver Spring jewelry repair. We realized this right before we put the official job request in, but decided to stay with Silver Spring Jewelry White Oak because they: 1. Provided us with superior customer service along the way 2. Had the CAD software, design expertise, and experienced repair team in house. 3. Provided a very reasonable price for the intensive project. 4. Have been in business since 1971. And, Im glad we did stuck with them. They delivered in under a month, and walked us through every step, providing us counseling on how to save $ along the way. They are service, not high-pressure sales focused and the business doesnt have a judgmental, snobby atmosphere that several other jewelers Ive been to have. They also service multi-cultural community, and provide service in other languages, Spanish for sure. Im not Latino, but really loved this about them. You definitely got a sense that this business cared about their community and serviced from the heart. Additionally, they replaced 3 watch batteries, repaired another ring, and I also bought another new ring from them. The only downside is that they dont pay much for your gold, but with all the other perks...this was a minimal issue for us. To us, they provided a 5 star product and service experience, and we will be forever grateful.

Silver Spring Jewelry was a HUGE disappointment. My husband had a Seiko watch that had gone through the washing machine and was damaged. I wanted to get it either repaired or replaced as an anniversary present. I called before taking the watch in for repair. I was told that they would be able to get an estimate to me quickly or help me get a replacement for the watch. I dropped off the watch and did not hear anything from them for a week. I called and was told that I would receive information on an estimate within the next 15 minutes. I never heard back. A week later, I called again. The same thing happened. Finally, after three weeks with no word, I called to ask that my watch be returned to me - it was already too late for an anniversary gift and I was fed up with the awful customer service. The manager of the store got on the line and never apologized for the poor service. Instead, he sounded short-tempered with me! When I picked up the watch, the sales clerk asked why I was picking it up without any repair done. I explained, again no apology for wasting my time, poor service, or messing up my planned anniversary gift. I was told I had to wait to sign that I had picked up the watch, and the clerk would not give me the paper to sign. The manager came out and he told me "You just have to sign and you can go." (Again, poor, rude service) I explained that I needed the book in which to sign and would appreciate it if they gave it to me so I could leave. Finally, after being int he store for 10 minutes, this wish was granted. In this economy, it would be beneficial for businesses to have better customer service. I would HIGHLY recommend you take your business elsewhere --- Silver Spring Jewelry is a place to skip!

My Wife, bought me a watch. It was a surprise present which I could not see. (the face is 1 round and I cannot see the numbers!) We returned together to return it for the cash she paid 2 days prior. "There is no cash return, only store credit!"The watch has stopped working and they want repair money. The selection is very poor, made up of cheap pieces that have a large price tag attached! My Wife paid $600 for a watch we had appraised at $200 !!! We are NOT happy Customers....Stay away, unless you know when you are getting ripped off.....
