This is a Gem (pardon the Pun) in Cleveland Park. They have a wonderful selection of Jewelery and Rings (they have a very large Watch collection as well though I was not in the market for one). I looked all over the area for a an early 1900s ring, and found Town Jewelers to have best collection. Since they are family owned, they are extremely friendly and their prices are well below larger retailers despite having a better section of antique Jewelry. I got an engagement ring here for what I consider to be a great bargain and my Fiancee loves the ring. They did an excellent job of sizing it as well. The original antique ring was more than 2 sizes to small, so they had to add a platinum insert, I would have never even noticed it if they had not pointed it out it was done that carefully. In conclusion I would say that if you are looking for something unique, Town Jewelers should definitely be somewhere you go!

My Fiance and I needed to get an engagement ring resized. Concurrently, we were also looking for a wedding band. The service we received was wonderful. The employee took all our needs into consideration and went above and beyond to ensure that we got exactly what we wanted and needed. While we were there he found a vintage ring that matched our engagement ring. It was 7-800 normally on retail, he kindly reduced the price to something far more affordable and threw in the resizing and cleaning of both rings. It is a family owned business; the service and quality of care reflects that. I am so happy that we chose to get our ring resized here, as now we not only have a resized engagement ring, but a beautiful vintage wedding band to match. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting here for your jewellery needs, we were treated like old friends and it really made a difference! Thank you!

The gentleman here know all about their jewelery and they have rushed orders for me at no extra charge and have done all of my jewelery repairs beautifully and quickly. I trusted them to have my engagement ring sized. The other review for this jeweler clearly had his locations confused. There is another TOWN JEWELER in Bethesda, which is new and does have a website with discounts. One cannot expect a store to recognize the grand opening and discounts of another. Please check your locations- it is no wonder you were confused. Just the fact that this store has been around for thirty years is enough to tell you about their quality and professionalism.

When we moved to DC a year ago we needed new insurance. I needed to get my wedding rings appraised so I stopped in Town Jewelers. The owner was very helpful and knowledgable. He also took the time to show me the unique inclusions of my diamond that I hadnt ever seen. Since that first visit we have been back for new batteries in both of our watches and recently my husband surprised me with a diamond necklace for our anniversary from Town Jewelers. He said his experience was wonderful and he worked with both the owner and his son. We highly recommend Town Jewelers for all your jewelry needs.

Visited this store twice within a weeks span, once just to browse and once in response to an ad I read on their website. I felt talked down to during both visits, and the workers (two gentlemen) appeared clueless about the offers on their website. The website communicated the store was celebrating its grand opening, but when I asked the worker about that he stated the store had been around for thirty years. Very confusing information, and the gentlemen were not helpful at all and did not appear to know very much about their jewelry. I would not recommend shopping here.

I never EVER write reviews but Town Jewelers was so stunning they deserve the recognition. I brought my great-grandmothers pocket watch in to be repaired and the service was incredibly knowledgable and friendly. My repair was done more than two weeks earlier than expected, it looks like beautiful and works perfectly. Price seemed reasonable (or even low) for the level of service and experience you get from this store. Wonderful place. Dont go anywhere else.

Worst customer service experience I have had in a loong time. The young "store owner" has no clue about greeting potential customers, even less about treating them well. Rude attitude; do not understand how these people pay their bills. The good news: there is a lot of room for improvement. Change your salespeople, and you might be able to sell something. Good luck.
