Amazing Service. I had several rings cleaned and repaired. My platinum engagement ring setting was severely bent and cracked, now the ring looks spectacular. My ring looks better than when I first received it!!! I also had a 6 year old platinum and ruby ring that was in need of TLC, It was literally brought back to life. Platinum can get really dull and gray looking, which is how my ring looked. It is now blindingly bright!!! The 18k and diamond ring I bought is over 29 years old, I had prongs repaired and a thorough cleaning. I cant stop staring at these rings, it is like I got all of them for the first time all over again. I loved that this was a family owned establishment. I worked primarily with Ali and his Uncle (The Patriarch, who opened the store over 30 years ago), they were both extremely knowledgeable and showed me some great items while I waited. I would definitely recommend Kripps for Gems, their service is awesome and their prices cant be beat in this area. I was also shown some beautiful custom and ESTATE pieces and Ali advised me that they do a lot of custom work. I look forward to returning with my Fiance for our wedding bands and some custom earrings (maybe even a ring or bracelet). A+ Service.

I LOVE my neighborhood Jewelers! I wanted to take the time to tell you about a wonderful Jewelry Store nestled in the heart of Woodmoor in Silver Spring, Md. My first experience with Kripps Jewelers was back in 1992 when my husband I went in to get an engagement ring. We were met by Mr. Kripps (owner) whose warmth and sense of integrity was clearly felt. We sensed he understood the importance of purchasing the "perfect diamond" and setting that would last the test of time all while taking account of our budget. Through the years, he was always our go to jewelers and we were ALWAYS confident we were getting the very best deal for the value. We have never hesitated to recommend them again and again only to be met by great appreciation for the great tip! Time has moved on and we our closing in on our 25th year of marriage and look forward to having our two sons (when the time is right)! gracing their doors to pick out the perfect ring. As if you havent already picked up on this, we HIGHLY recommend you visit them for all your jewelry needs. You wont be disappointed.

My Mom and I Have Known the Kirplanis for nearly 10 years, we have done numerous transactions. We have bought several lovely pieces. The staff is really nice, The merchandise is selection is excellent with great prices. Clean, pristine, professional, honest business. Before we met the Family behind Kripps Jewelers, we shopped at other Jewelry stores (several of them) but after doing business once, this is the place to go. We are located out of silver spring but we will make it a point to come here. First, I am from New York and I will travel to Maryland whenever I need Jewelry and or work with Prem and Vin online for designs. I have purchased several very fine pieces of Jewelry and The prices and service are better than New York prices. Vin helped me find a pink diamond to complete my wifes necklace set of color diamonds. I bought my wife several items including two pairs of diamond earrings and a tennis bracelet. I also upgraded our engagement ring with which Prem got me a beautiful diamond. Thank you so very much! Just had my engagement ring appraised here for insurance purposes. The staff was absolutely wonderful to me and gave my ring a thorough inspection. They had a wonderful selection of some really beautiful and unique pieces and were VERY knowledgeable. They let me try one whatever I wanted while I waited, which was fun! They provided exceptional service and have beautiful well made jewelry, the rings especially. They were so nice and outgoing and made me feel that I definitely stepped into the right shop. I went to Kripps to purchase a bracelet for my mothers birthday. I was helped by a gentleman named Ali. Ali was so helpful he spent so much time with me and had so much patience. He discussed all my options, including custom making a bracelet. I never felt pressured or uneasy. I ended up buying a bracelet that Ali picked out and my mother loved it! I had so many options to chose from but my mother loved the bracelet Ali helped me pick. I am a fan of Kripps and will continue going there for all my jewelry needs!

I wanted to get a white gold chain with diamonds on it, and I spotted this store in Silver Springs. Im glad I stopped by. The management was excellent, so was the customer service. I got exactly what i needed at a astoundingly low and fair price. The best thing about Kripps is their tardiness and punctuality. If they say itll be done within a certain time, it will. There is this kid there named Ali, I think hes the manager. Pretty nice guy, he helped me with all my queries. Definitely recommend this store.

Not your average family jeweler business. I have gotten rings repaired and the service (and price) is very reasonable. They have a jeweler on staff to create custom pieces as well as sell and buy excellent quality jewelry. Recently I was only hours from having to rush to my rehearsal dinner and realized my wedding band was missing. I needed a replacement within hours and they accommodated me - not only with quality and speed but with smiles! I highly recommend this jeweler for any of your needs!

I have always felt a bit intimidated when walking into a jewelry store. Since going to Kripps, I am over it....I had a ring repaired. Reasonable price and excellent work. Very friendly. I wasnt able to get back for a month to pick it up and they remembered my name.Thats impressive in this day and age. To top it off, we got to talk football..... Go Ravens! I will be doing business there again for sure.

Sheri is such a high pressure, high commission salesperson. All she does is try to show you more pieces and try to raise the price you pay for services that come with jewelry stores like cleanings, sizings, etc. When you come here you will feel pressured a lot...no joke. This woman is an idiot and deserves to be fired. Rather go to Mervis than this store and get the treatment and respect I deserve
