Smoke signals has always been my favorite shop in town. They care about the customer more than words could describe. From the kind welcome and ID check, to the "quick need help?" They always stock the best shisha and coals. Having previously worked for Sahara smoke Hookahs its nice to be able to grab quality hoses, coals and tobacco. The glass tobacco pipes, water or not are all fantastic. Theres something for every price range. Over the years the owners have been very kind to me, and at times been the simple kind gesture my day needed. Whether youre looking to buy, browse, or just enjoy a friendly 18+ environment, Smoke Signals is always worth a stop when in Downtown Frederick.

Great selection....WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! The young girl that thinks she knows everything is the worst. Mean, rude, lazy, huffs & puffs when she has to get off her ass to show someone something. Said there was NO manager and would not tell me how to get ahold of owner. After this last visit, I DEF wont be going back. Your new store WILL fail, with employees like this. (at the very least you need to fire that girl, Im, a 40 something professional and REFUSE to be spoken to like that) *UPDATE* The owner called me himself within 12 hours of what happened. Ive met him in the store before & he really is a great guy. We got to the root of the issue...I couldnt be happier!

Always such a pleasant experience to visit. Almost every occasion I have been helped extensively, even able to test out a few bubbling devices while the owner was in. He was pleased to show me the variety of percolators and even went as far as to knock a couple bucks off a dusty piece! The prices are affordable and the selection is very wide. I have bought almost everything imaginable from this store and I still manage to see new items every visit. This is without a doubt a landmark in DTF now, especially for the smoker-friendly scene.

Just moved back to Frederick and I got to say one of the things I was looking forward to was being near this place. Selection is fantastic from affordable to heady art pieces. Water pipes range with a selection of affordable acrylic pipes, simple glass tubes and beakers, scientific glass, electroplated pipes, and worked pipes. They carry a well versed authentic stock from too many artists and brands to list and it changes through time definitely a destination shop to visit time to time if you collect.

I come here to get all my incense! I live in Alexandria and its worth the trip. Ive picked up a few pieces here over the years and have yet to be disappointed. They have a massive selection of just about anything youd need and then some. You cant take pictures in the shop (kinda sucks if you see something wicked awesome) but I get it. They recently moved a few doors down to a newer storefront with much more space. 30 incense for $10, cant beat the selection either.

My only complaint is that compared to the other head shops I have been to, this place is a bit pricey... *however* I really feel like the friendly and helpful staff, plus the selection of pieces, glass, art, hookah products, and (especially) the points for rewards system etc more than makes up for it. You can get everything you could possibly need for a good smoke sesh all in one stop. Love it (: Keep up the great work guys! I will continue to frequent this shop!

This shop looks alright, but some of their products are fake. They sell FAKE RooR water pipes. yes FAKE. they also lie about their fake products saying that they are authorized dealers of this product and such. DO NOT GO HERE. go to FIREFLY sex shop in Baltimore MD. They have twice the selection as Smoke Signals. The shop owner also gives terrible customer service. If you are a smoker, as I am, then take my word for it and DONT GO HERE. they sell FAKES

Was brought here after a bad experience at roast in Montgomery county , But anyways arrived at smoke signals was greeted very nicely by a young lady went to the back to look at glass and another employee came and helped me out and gave me a piece of glass in my price range and well worth it he was a great help and I went on Black Friday so they had a nice deal . Will be going back again love this place

Where to begin? Ive been coming to Smoke Signals for a little over 3 years now. Every visit brings its own fortuitous reward,, and every cross over the threshold is met with the most enlightening of experiences!! The people that work there are truly remarkable!!! Your visit will be at the very least,, "Transcendental "!! And youll leave,, feeling much much better than you did when you entered!!

This place is just great. Ive bought a bowl, slider, three water pipes, and many other accessories and all were high quality and fairly priced. A little on the expensive side for the nicer pieces- but theyre well worth it. Amazing selection, and the "broken glass" section is great for huge discounts on lightly scratched or cracked pieces. The points system is nice too if youre a frequent customer.

This place is awesome. I bought an Illadelph here and love it. I looked at the Roors and don`t know what Smokeshop is talking about as this store is authorized to sell by Roor America. I live down the street and pop in pretty regular and the only time I am not greeted is when they are packed with customers. They get a lot of business so they must be doing something right.

Been shopping at Smoke Signals for years, theyve always had a great selection of quality glass pieces, accessories, and kitschy gift items. Theres so much variety and the pieces are reasonably priced, and the employees are friendly and helpful. Good place to find both gifts and staple items. One of my favorite shops downtown.

A great local head shop. Much closer than going to WV or Baltimore. Cheaper than Rockville. Yes the wuality isnt as great for their water pipes, though they hagve some new nice ones coming in. Their bowl collection is great, as is papers.

Absolutely Great Service! Had a problem With My PURE waterpipe and they replaced it On site for a better one! Scott and his team Know how to get it done... With the exception of the One tall skinny male employee. He is Very testy and Rude.

Bought a bowl and some prerolled cones from there and must say I was impressed with the place. Its small but packs a lot in for you to see. Affordable prices in my opinion and the cashier was very helpful. Will be going back soon!
