The shopping experience at Davidus is horrid. The management has requested their employees to hand out trays to customers so that all cigars remain visible to cameras. Furthermore, an employee must be present in the room at all times (even if the employee is mindlessly shuffling boxes). This is a completely unnatural way to shop for a cigar. Secondly, requiring your employees to confront every client under the pretense of shoplifting is to pass judgment. This behavior amounts to a poor buying experience and when purchasing a cigar thats about all cigar shops have to offer. One could say smoking a cigar is (or was) at some point considered dignified but Davidus is selling a contradictory experience by establishing shoplifting as a precursor. This management decision reflects the lack of respect missing for both the employees and customers. Its clear the idea from the owners perspective is that he is selling a mere commodity and those that enter his store should be so lucky to shop there. I have tried to reach out to the owner privately but the Davidus phone system is completely automated. In a sense, not only is the owner looking down on his patrons but he is also far removed and inaccessible.

Definitely like the service and knowledge of the gaithersburg staff compared to this location. I go into the humi and ask the clerk if they had the partagas and Bolivar brand sticks. Not only did he not know about the sticks he seemed incoherent and out of it completely. I had to repeat my question about the brands which was simply do you carry these brands here, I have purchased a partagas from their gaithersburg location. I ended up going to the competition quarter masters and they had what I needed as well as the service I should have had at davidus being a member. Will never shop at this location again.

Great selection of cigars with a very comfortable and spacious lounge. No one offers a better cigar experience. Whether youre new to cigar smoking or a long time cigar aficionado, Davidus Cigars is your destination for a relaxing time. Great pipes and pipe tobaccos, too.

A great selection of cigars. Davidus carries many of the more well known cigar brands. The lounge can easily get crowded on a busy night but it is comfortable and clean.

Awesome shop with a large BYOA lounge. They are a TAA shop so those ones are available. Overall a pretty good selection.
