From my communication with this dealership, I urge anyone who reads this to steer clear of Bermans Automotive. I am not usually the kind of person who leaves a review, but I felt obligated to do so, please do not waste your time with this dealership. I originally called in about a vehicle I saw on autotrader. The salesman who answered, Johnny, seemed like a straight forward guy. However, the car had been posted nearly two weeks before it was ready. It hadnt gone through inspection nor had it had any of the cosmetic work they were going to do to the Audi. Fair enough, it seemed like a reasonable price for a car I really wanted. After the phone call I submitted my credit application as directed. Two days go by and I call and speak with Johny, he said that the dealership received my application but had not processed it yet. I was told that he would go and speak with his GM about the deal and that he would call me back after they spoke and ran the application. Another day goes by so I call again and speak with a different salesman as Johny was off; I was told that he could take care of me and would speak with his GM and call me back...no call. So I call AGAIN two days later and spoke with Johnny. Johnny said that they had run my application and that I was accepted, however he told me he needed to speak with his GM about how much I would put down. I was told I would hear right back from him...(yeahhhh, right). No call back, so another two days later I call and he tells me he has been off and that there was an emergency. I said ok, can you please tell me about the financing deal, he said he couldnt give me that information over he phone. So I spoke to his GM myself finally and was then informed that the price is excluding a few fees that I expected. He then goes on to say that there is a destination charge of $600 something?!?! On a USED car?!?! The price he quoted me was aprox. $11,500 until I told him I saw it on Autotrader for aprox. $9,500. He proceeded to tell me that the price advertised is not including about $2,000 in fees NOT INCLUDING TAXES. Again, steer clear. They are lazy, arrogant, and crooked car salesmans. Johnny was a nice guy but not a very proactive car salesman. Unless you want to do all the work for the deal just go buy a certified used car from a lot who doesnt charge you for them having to drive the car back from the auction.

2010 Nissan Maxima fully loaded. Horrible. Let me tell you. Looked up there inventory. They had the exact car my wife wanted. Everything. Color and all. We attempted to buy this car up to 3 times before being able to purchase it. The problem was the "owner" of the dealership insisted on driving the car instead of leaving it at the dealership for customers to purchase the car. That was strike #1. The only reason we kept pushing is because this was the exact car my wife was looking for. Here we are with strike #2. We get to the end of the paper work and suddenly the car payment is roughly $30 higher than promised from the original offer smh. Again Im persistent and showing some type of patience because my wife really wants this car. They removed the window tint as expected for it to pass state inspection, in the process they scratched the rear drivers side Window up pretty bad. Im talking it looks like a child removed the window tint. Think they compensated us for that NO!!!! Still waiting to this day for the "service manger" to call and let us know if "his guy" can repair the window. Here we are with strike #3. The car kept pulling to the rift for some strange reason. Come to find out, its the WRONG FREAKING SIZE TIRE how is it possible that this car passed MD state inspection with the wrong size tires on it. Now I know normally thats not a big deal to me, but considering the lack of and care of attention to detail with this dealership is lack luster and horrible. Needless to say. We refinanced the car after 5 months. And the payment is damn near $200 less than what it was originally. At the end of the day she is happy with the car. Im happy. One positive thing I can say is they replaced the battery no hassle wow

I wouldnt recommend this place to a homeless person trying to purchase a car. This place try to make it seem like all of their customers cant get financing through a bank so they want to finance everyone through their bank. Which means they will make you put down 1,500 or more to get a vehicle. I hope you all do not make that mistake that other people make. After they took 2 days trying to "Find a bank" to finance a car for me. They offered to finance it their selves for 1,500 down. I am too smart for that so I declined. I went to heritage chrysler dodge jeep in owings mills, MD. I purchased a new 2014 car with no money down. Save your time and go to a regular car dealership and stay away from Bermans. They will tell their customers the bank request you have so much money down, No banks ask for money down its the car dealerships that want the money down so they can make a profit. Also I saw so many customers bringing their cars back for repairs. Even if you have bad credit call Heritage Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Owings Mills, MD. The Manager at Bermans his name is Daryl, He will call your personally to tell you that he can help you out. Once he finds out that you wont put down a lot of money they will get rid of you. I went in one day and it was raining and they had buckets all over the building for so many leaks. So I can see why they would want that much money down. They need to repair their building. Stay far away from this place.

I dont want to sound like one of those "I have bad credit" blah blah commercials. Here my opinion. Take it for what its worth. I was looking for a "winter car" (im an avid motorcyclist). I didnt want anything new nor very expensive. Just something to use for those times that I couldnt ride. After searching for a few weeks on popular car search websites, I saw an older car with reasonable miles on for its age, and it was within my budget. Unfortunately, it was at Bermans. Ive read mostly negative reviews about Bermans in the past but I saw "under new management" on their website. So, I decided to visit Bermans and take a look around. I met Bruce.. the very easy going associate there. We talked. He invited me to take a look at their inventory, and soon after he introduced me to Sam, the finance specialist. I spoke with Sam at length and soon after, I had the car that I was looking for, with an excellent interest rate, reasonable terms and it was well within my budget. No pressure. No B.S. I cant say that your experience will be as good as mine. I can say that im glad that I gave this "new management" a chance. Preston

Id shopped around, did a lot of research and was all set to purchase at a well known, name brand, car dealership, but wasnt feeling the customer service...so I decided to keep looking and I found Sam at Bermans! He made me feel welcome and was just as excited as I was about making a purchase from them...check this out...I asked if I could take the Mercedes to a Mercedes dealership to get it checked out, before I buy it and he said ABSOLUTELY!!! They tagged it up and off I went to get it assessed! This was a GREAT sign, every other dealer that I requested the same said "No"...long story long...the car had a couple of minor issues and Bermans fixed them! Four "business" days later and Im the proud, new owner of a beautiful CLS-550 and her name is Ebony:D!!! Thanks Sam...stellar customer service(with a side of a "beautiful, black Mercedes) is EVERYTHING...;-)
