I purchased a garage door at Menards and when they loaded the door they assured me that all the hardware was inside the door I argued with the loading guy telling him i have installed a few garage doors and Ive never seen that but he assured me and said he loads these all the time so we left with the door. It was winter when i purchased the door and so the unopened door set in the garage until spring and when we opened the door guess what is not there the tracks and hardware. so we contacted them explained what happened they searched their warehouse and eventually found it they said so i had someone go pick up the hardware no big deal. A few days later i started tearing down the old door went outside were the hardware was and they didnt even give me all the hardware just the track and springs so i went to the store explained that i was still missing part cables pulleys wheels and so on. Well they could not find the doors hardware so they bring me to this pallet in their warehouse and there is several boxes of hardware that they left off other peoples door. I was like wow really then the guy said just take what you need for your door, well Im not sharing what was said after that but it was not pretty needless to say my hardware is coming in two weeks they said ,we will see about that. I can honestly say i will never buy from Menards again. and the worst of all my garage is now open until the hardware comes in. Trully an unhappy costomer

I bought a Oreck vacuum cleaner for 157.94 including taxes, which was a very good price but I decided that since I only have 2 area rugs that I could go with a cheaper vacuum and save a $100 which I needed at Christmas time. I bought the vacuum on a debit card and had 90 days to return it for a full refund. In the meantime my debit card was cancelled because I had made a recent purchase at Home Depot and because of the Identification Fraud against their debit/credit card customers, the bank issued me a new debit card and cancelled the old one. Menards, UNLIKE LOWES, was very INFLEXIBLE REGARDING THEIR RETURN POLICIES. If you buy with cash, which very few do, then they would refund with cash. Their refund policy states that if you purchase by a debit card then your refund would be returned to your account. In my case they could have returned it by credit to my card but not by debit. They refused to do it but only offered an instore credit of 157.94 which I did not want. At Christmas time I need that cash since I am a retired man on a low income. I would probably not spend 157.94 under normal circumstances on hardware in 1-2 years and for sure dont want to Christmas shop there.

Walked in and purposefully walked within 10 feet of each sales employee and was never greeted or acknowledged. Had a budget of $15600. Spent an hour intensely talking about tile, carpet, counters, out door furniture with my wife to name a few. We were so ignored we could have shoplifted and probably have not been caught. Someone greeting us would have changed our minds, but we walked out without any interaction from sales or spending a dollar. #goingtohomedepotnext

They have almost, sort of, kind of a little bit of everything. Sometimes that can be good, and sometimes its just a poor effort. Theyre trying hard, but theyre still getting beaten out by the competition. Further, the competition doesnt pound your ears with their horrible jingles. Getting tortured every 2 minutes with the jingle makes me want to deafen myself.

I will never shop any Menards stores ever they dont stand behind there mistakes. Ordered countertop came in wrong talked to Terry the manager said he would reorder well I did that which was a big mistake it came in wrong I sent a complaint in which I received a letter saying theres nothing they can do. They just lost all my business Big joke

I really like Menards and it is in a convenient location for me. They carry just about everything a DIYer needs and plenty of their wants too. People need to remember that you get what you pay for, they offer some stuff for free, then people complain it didnt last 100 years. Duh!

This store has a wealth of hardware, tools, indoor, and outdoor related supplies. The offerings are numerous, but many are near the mid to bottom range of quality (especially tools). That being said, I find myself frequenting it often for the convenience of so much selection.

People stop shopping this store. A sweet young girl just got fired for attending her grandfathers funeral. This man was more like a father figure to her. Shame on you menards for not having compassion!!! Your customers should take their business elsewhere. I sure will!!

After spending a substantial amount of money on building materials had numerous problems with delivery and refunding left over materials. It was one of the most stressful interactions with a supplier I have encountered. Will never use them again.

Great place to shop, love the atmosphere and the staff and very friendly... The prices cant be beat and would always recommend menards over any other place like lowes or Home Depot
