Previous employee st Aldi. The company does start you at a very competitive rate, they also offer good benefits, however, it is one of the worst jobs I have ever had. Its very small and so coming in as a newbie is not welcome. The woman hired in same time as I was very quickly gotten rid of. She didnt fit into the tight nit group of younger employees and defied their wants for conflict. The store manager being in the group, completely fabricated complaints complaints from customers. Myself being new and needing the paycheck I didnt get involved. Once she was gone it seemed that I was next, the store manager made up ridiculous allegations regarding customer complaints and other mistruths. I finally had enough, I knew then that she was out to get rid of me and knew that the promises of advancement at the company would never happen now, so I filed a complaint with corporate. My DM came down to "investigate", I knew from the start of the investigation that he had chosen a side, the side in which would make his job and life easier. Was he to disrupt his store by punishing the store manager and putting Day to day operations at risk, or go against the hourly employee in which he could easily replace? I was discriminated against at this store by these children, fat jokes, even though I am of average size, intimidation by shift manager to encourage me to quit telling me that either way I wouldnt receive unemployment by the company as "they just dont do that". I am a college graduate, intelligent, driven, hard working and professional woman and would not recommend this company to work for by anyone who shares the same qualities.

Aldi consistently has the best prices on fresh foods like eggs, milk, breads, and produce. The only thing to watch is that the produce sometimes doesnt keep as long as the produce from other stores, but as long as you use it within a few days its well worth it.

Love the prices, and their produce selection! Germans make sure they offer quality, and if they had a better variety, such as a meat and seafood counter, and a deli, I wouldnt shop anywhere else! Getting my list together and heading there soon!

You can tell this is an older Aldi, but what is attractive about this grocery store remains. Low prices, curated selection of items, and a consistent selection of quality, household staples keeps us coming back.
