UPDATE: Brian has communicated well after my initial complaint. He has answered every email in a timely manner and today we finally have our chair fixed. It is not the stores fault on the crappy manufacturing job. After everything that needed replaced the manufacturer should have just sent us a new chair. We have purchased from here 3 different times. We have dealt with Elma each time. Our first two experiences were great, but this third one doesnt even deserve a 1 star rating. I use to refer everyone here, but I wont again. We purchased two recliners this third visit. Before agreeing to purchase we were told it would take 4-6 weeks to receive our second chair. At checkout it went from 4-6 weeks to 6-8 weeks. My husband made several calls to see where our chair was at. Close to the 8 weeks one was in except it was not the color we ordered. We waited almost 12 weeks for our chair and Im sure we only got it then because my husband gave them a deadline to have it delivered. Magically our chair was delivered the day before said deadline. Not even 6 months after having the chair it has ripped at the seam in two different spots. This is not from the use Of the chair; the material had actually frayed at the seam causing it to come apart. I contacted them about the manufacturers warranty and Brian said it would be fixed for free. Here we are three weeks later and still nothing being done about the chair. I understand it isnt the stores fault it has frayed, but it is their responsibility to take care of their customers and doing it in a timely manner. I emailed again yesterday about the progress of this claim and havent heard a word. Very dissatisfied.

Purchased a Lazy Boy reclining love seat from them and have been calling them for over a year trying to get warranty work completed!! They always tell me waiting on parts, waiting on seamstress, and several other excuses. This does not include the struggle I had even getting the product initially. They are polite, but never resolve issues. Please consider shopping elsewhere if customer service is of importance!! 7/8/16: Received phone call from Brian, wanting to resolve my issues. Brian very polite and has promised to replace my Love seat. Tells me it may take 4-6 weeks, Ill let you know If this happens or if its just empty promise like before.....fingers crossed! 9/23/16: As promised, my new replacement love seat arrived today! Brian promised to resolve my issues and he did! Thank you Brian and Homes for Furniture for living up to my expectations! I now change my rating to 4 stars, could of been 5 if it wasnt such a ordeal......

We ordered a new dining room table. After looking through his catalogs Brian was able to find us an amazing deal, we were told we would get it in 10 days. We ordered it on a Saturday and received it the following Friday, six days later! The came took down our old table and put it in the basement for me and installed the new one! Great service, something I never would have got had we ordered from a big box store. We will be shopping there in the future and know we will always get that same great service! I recommend Store for Homes to all my friends and family.

We are really happy with our furniture but we purchased fabric warranties on the 4 pieces. Its been 3 months since we purchased our furniture and I still havent received the fabric warranty we purchased. Very, very frustrated with them. EDIT to review: I have received a call from the store and they have quickly sent the warranty paperwork. They have done everything they could do to make sure that we were taken care of! Thankful for excellent customer care! EDIT: Been three additional months and still waiting for the warranty issues to be fixed.

they are very good in selling their products there in the store but there service is not acceptable. in others words `they suck at it took them 4 month to fix a chair they said the parts are order and we will call . the chair has now been replaced 8 months to the day i brought it because the chair was not fix right and dodds trash hauled it away to the DUMP. I then went out to dave wholesale out by the moose lodge and bought a new chair and know i am happen with my purchase i will never walk though the doors of store for homes for no reasons .

Purchased a sectional from store for homes it arrived great, then a year later a handle broke on the recliner section and we have waited over a year for a replacement part they keep saying will be in later this week. Will never buy there again!!!! We paid extra for leather warranty they will not enforce nor will they reimburse. Very disappointed!!

My husband and I were beyond pleased with the customer service we received. Elma listened to our wants and needs and helped us find exactly what suited us and our almost 4 year old. Very good pricing as well! We were excited and felt very well taken care of for first time furniture buyers. Thank you. We will definitely use them in the future.

Payed for a max 4 camo couch and recieved wrong one and that was over a year ago. Called several times to see when the new one was comming and they always say its comming next week and that was 8mths ago. Never do business with these people they lie instead of telling the truth!!!
