Bought a futon and chair set with delivery. Half the chair was not there on delivery. Every week they promised to deliver the rest, was offered discounts due to the unbelievable delay. Today was told that they had no record of the discounts offered over the phone (get it in writing as they cant be trusted) and the delivery would be delayed by 2 weeks, "almost guaranteed." At this point they can take their damn furniture. I would rather have an empty living room than put up with being lied and condescended to. Update: Talked to a manager at the store, and things seem to be getting resolved, but Ill wait to see what happens before re-rating. Homs phone support system is definitely lacking; talk directly to the store by walking in if you have a problem. Update: FINALLY delivered the rest of the set. Of course, the chair arms were not drilled properly and would not fit the rest of the chair, but the delivery guys traded them out for a properly-drilled set from the truck. I like the furniture set, but our delivery and service experience were just awful until we went back into the store. My advice is to call CS once if you have a problem, then just go talk to the store. Now Im waiting for there to be a billing problem. Update: FINALLY delivered the rest of the set. Bad service. The guy sold us a table, took our payment and then told us it wont be in for 2-4 weeks. I cancelled the sale. It has been 7 days and they havent credited my $600 back to my card yet. I called them yesterday and the gal said that she had only requested the return 2 days ago. I e-mailed to complain and all I got for results was someone calling me back to say this is standard procedure and that I had no right to be upset. Worst service ever. Company is totally uninterested in trying to improve customer relations. They are content to give dissatisfying service. Mary was good last time....I recommend using her if you must shop here. Ashley Furniture in Fridley got the sale and they were super great. Now if only I wasnt paying twice for 1 table.

I purchased a bed from this store a few months ago. It was a quality bed at a decent price. There was a hiccup with the delivery though. The salesman and I agreed on a specific day and time that they would be able to deliver the bed the day I paid for it. I wound up actually having to take the day off of work to make sure I was home for delivery. It turns out they werent able to deliver the bed that day. Obviously this upset me. I contacted the store and they were able to arrange delivery at a different time and did what they could to make the situation right. It wasnt a perfect transaction but I appreciate their willingness to rectify the situation.

Today we visited HOM to purchase a mattress. We were immediately greeted at the door by a person (with a tie and a bright smile) asking us what we were looking for and directing us to the mattress area. As we approached that area of the store we were greeted by another well-dressed employee who asked how he could help us and then directed us to an "expert" salesperson further down the aisle, Phuong Nguyen (Fong Wen). When she saw this exchange she started walking toward us and greeted us warmly. She was very personable and knowledgeable and as a result my brother purchased a new mattress and I plan to return with my wife in the near future.

We have been purchasing furniture for our home from HOM furniture for the last 20 years. There is very Little in our house that is not from HOM. The sales team in the stores do a fine job and have always done exactly what you would expect. I would like to point out that Corey Westmoreland from the Dock 86 store is a cut far above the rest. We recently bought a mattress and adjustable box spring system from Corey and know we got exactly what we needed and wanted. He was very hands on and well educated about his line of products.

Tamie Blum was very helpful with our purchase. Typically I avoid ALL furniture stores to specifically avoid the annoyance of the sales staff. This was the complete opposite experience with Tami. She left my wife and I alone to look around and once we were ready she was immediately available to help. Any other sales person, we may have just walked right out. Our tolerance level for sales staff is zero. We would be happy to come back anytime to complete another purchase with Tamie! Thank you!

I have to say Hom furniture makes the whole Prices easy to busy quality furniture that will last for decent prices. Always happy w the furniture. This last time the service wasnt quite as friendly as the first but they got the job done. Thete was a man who did yell at my 9 year old for running, he used a pretty harsh tone for it being a first offense which I thought he could have said things alot nicer. But all in all good quality . And some sales staff are friendly and helpful like Josh.

I came in to HOM Furniture not really sure of what kind of sofa or coffee table set that I wanted for my apartment. Sam Wood found me looking around and started asking me questions about what sort of living room I wanted. She showed me few sofas and was very knowledgeable about their parts, she even helped me get the right fabric for my cats! I left the store happy with my purchase and I love the sofa I have as well as the coffee tables she helped me pick out to match. Thanks, Sam!

Tamie Blum is phenomenal! She helped me with living room furniture and couldnt have been more conscientious. One thing Id particularly like to mention is that she gave honest opinions; none of that odious "recommending the most expensive piece regardless or style or fit" thing you can sometimes get with commissioned salespeople. Tamie spent quite a while with me assembling the room, and Im thrilled with the result. Id seek her out for any kind of furniture needs.

This is the second time I have bought furniture from Dock 86 (Hom Furniture) in St. Paul. In my opinion I wouldnt go anywhere else. The items I purchased this time re excellent in quality and I couldnt beat the price I found anywhere else in town. Sales people are always the best. They even go into the warehouse to look for something that will better suit your fancy that what is on the huge showroom floor. Check it our before you spend big somewhere else!

My experience at Hom Furniture in Little Canada, MN was great. Michelle my sales rep gave me her card and scu # of the item I was looking at so I could continue to shop to make sure that was the item I wanted. After shopping several other places all I had to do is call Michelle, give her my scu # and credit card # over the phone and I was able to pick up my item from the warehouse within 2 hours. Very Slick. Very efficient! Thank you Michelle.
