Excellent, I entered the doors and looked at the ad for 5 seconds and went on in to track down the one couch I was looking for. I knew the journey through the neatly placed jungle of couches and chairs would be long and it would be hard to locate that one diamond we were digging for but out of nowhere the helpful store clerk scampered over and offered his knowledge of this new and strange world to my family. He led us over the mountains and through the woods to the beautiful couch we wanted. There he gave us all the info we could ever want to know, and left us for a bit to discuss how much we truly enjoyed the couch. OK so in all seriousness Marcus Coker was excellent, extremely helpful, and very nice, giving us plenty of time to think it over and also not leaving us too long that we got discouraged and walked away. We glanced at a few other couches sat in one or 2 but ultimately we chose that first comfy beautiful couch. Along the way we got to meet Mario Walden, another of Ashleys finest employees. Mario was very nice showed us how the couch reclined (never seen it inside the couch before) and in the end helped ring us up. he was not pushy about adding a ton of stuff to our purchase and made sure we had no questions answered the ones we had and was very very pleasant when i had to split the charges on 2 cards. gave me solutions to any issue I had and now we are excited to have our very first piece of brand new freshly bought from the store reclining couch. I was very pleased with the selection and the employees here they are fast to help and not pushy I would recommend going here, and I will return if i ever need another piece of furniture like that again

Worst experience Ive ever had. Walked in to the one in maplewood with my mom to look at oversized chairs for a room she is converting into a reading room. One of the employees, I believe her name is Gloria , greeted us in kind of a crabby manner. She told us that we could take another 20% off of the furniture if we found one we liked. Later on we were looking at a chair that my mom was debating on and it almost seemed like she was trying to force us into buying it, when my mom wasnt 100% sure if it was the one she wanted or not, the lady kept pushing and pushing and only showed interest in us if we were interested in a chair, she ignored us most of the time until we were debating between 2 different chairs. When we asked her what one would be with the extra 20% off she said it wasnt 20% it was 15% and then later on she did the math of what it would be with 15% off and turns out the price was only with 10% off. So not only did she lie, but she tried to rip us off also. She also lied about when the sale ended when my mom ask, saying it ended that day, when it really didnt. We decided to leave and go to Becker furniture in Woodbury instead, which is where my mom not only bought an oversized chair, but also a table and ottoman to go with it. Never will I return to an Ashley furniture, always go to Becker !

We recently ordered furniture from Ashley Furniture (Maplewood location). We agreed upon a delivery date well in advance. Closer to the date, I contacted AF in advance of the delivery to try to synchronize our schedules due to some special circumstances. I spoke with the Maplewood franchise, the delivery warehouse and their customer service (including the customer service manager). In the end, AF was more interested in convenience for them than making any attempt to accomodate their customer. In fact, they were down right rude and condescending (including the manager). To their credit, they did offer to eliminate the delivery charge but they were not able to accept the only way to satisfy their customer was to deliver the furniture on the agreed upon date even though I went out of my way as a convenience to them to attempt to find an optimal time for delivery. BOTTOM LINE: If you like dealing with rude sales people and management and if you also enjoy incredibly inconvenient and rigid delivery that is developed to serve the convenience of the delivery people alone, Ashley Furniture is an excellent place to buy furniture.

$3000 down the drain. Bought a leather sofa set on clearance. I was wary of buying one with a motorized reclining system so I purchased the warranty that covers mechanical /electronic components. When they delivered the set and hooked it up the USB ports didnt work, so they told me to call the repair dept. That dept told me that the set was "as is " and there were no parts available for that model. Needless to say I was livid. The set was never advertised "as is". "As is" and "clearance" have different legal meanings. I NEVER wouldve dropped $3,000 on a couch that cannot be repaired. It took some doing to even get them them to refund the worthless $100 warranty I bought. (How are they going to repair something without parts available? ) The store manager offered me a lousy $50 gift card. (I dare you to find anything in the store under $100) Within 6 months of owning this set, one of the reclining units on the loveseat stopped working and there is a tear in the sofa. My last leather set lasted 7 years - this one lasted 7 months. I WILL NEVER SHOP ASHLEY AGAIN. I WAS COMPLETELY MISLEAD AND RIPPED OFF.

Eh ido 2 veces seguido y no me an atendido. El primer día fui 2 veces y no había nadie más que me atendiera. Solo había una persona que estaba con otros clientes. Me fuí y volví a regresar y aún no me atendian. Hoy fui otra vez y espere como 20 minutos o más. Y no recibí ayuda. Yo sugiero que contraten más personal para q puedan atender a todos los clientes y q no tengan que esperar asta que terminen con un cliente para atender al próximo.

I would like to thank the staff at Maplewood Ashley Furniture Store and tell you how much I appreciate Brook and all the staff that work there. I have worked with Ashley for years. I buy furniture for the Company I work for. In all my years of buying furniture with Ashley I have never had a nicer or a more competent sales person than Brooke. She is always happy and talks so highly of your company. She is very knowledgeable about your products and does everything to help me make the right decisions. The rest of the crew is wonderful but I would like to mention Mario, Nancy and Jamie as being absolutely some of the nicest people I have ever worked with. Always with a smile , a hello and help if I need it. My overall experience is a 10, always, all the people mentioned above are the reasons why I do all my buying at Ashley Furniture Maplewood Store.

Ashley furniture is absolutely wonderful. The quality of there products are exceptional and so is there service. If your looking for the best sales representative - talk to Brooke. She is fabulous at what she does. She is extreamly helpful in answering all your questions and is never pushy. She is very friendly and made the process of getting new furniture so great. Getting new furniture can be a big investment and she helped us through that process and allowed us to take our time. She showed us a variety of different peices based on what we told her we wanted and helped us find the perfect sectional. We where very thankful for her kind spirit, furniture knowledge, and positive attitude. Thanks for all your help and thanks for being so great! :) Ashely furniture is the place to go!
