Terrible place to take your dog to get groomed. Have been a customer since they opened up a few years back. On occasion I had taken my dog there to get his nails trimmed and have had no problem. I go into the salon, let them know that I was there to get my dogs nails trimmed and am immediately confronted with terrible staff. Upon my arrival they ask if my dog is up to date with his rabies shots, which is understandable, I respond yes. Then a brunette with glasses starts asking if I have his paperwork, I respond no and she CONTINUES by saying "I have told his mom before that we need the paperwork" I look at her and am surprised as I am the only one that takes him to get his nails trimmed. She claims that someone else took him and that she remembers seeing him. Mind you I have Mini Pinscher. She in no way shape or form tried helping. She never tried looking my dog up on their system to see if it was indeed my dog that she was talking about. I asked if that had always been the policy since I had never been asked before and she said yeah it has been there for three months, then she went and said it had always been in place, so which one was it? Always or three months? Instead of maybe saying, "Sorry maam but we need his paperwork" she simply jumped to the conclusion that she had talked to me when I had never seen the girl much less talked to her. NEEDLESS TO SAY THE SERVICE IS HORRIBLE AND I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.

Nathanial was my guide, he assisted me in finding the the right food for my bassett mix; for natural canned foods, dehydrated sweet potatoes and of course the dry food I came in for, which Nathanial carried for me as I shopped. He also extended his excellent customer service by carrying my purchases out to my car for me. Nathanial not only knew the products; exponding on product suggestions and comparative price checks, he was personable ans kind. I really liked the service that I received at the Waukegan store. I ordered 2 baby Guinea pigs for my daughters birthday. When they didnt come in on the date specified, they explained to me what the problem was. Then they drove down to one of their stores way south of here to make sure I had 2 Guinea pigs the age and gender I specified in time for my daughters birthday. I am sure they spent more in gas than the profit they made from the sale of those pets.

The staff is very helpful and engaging in conversation. The prices are standard for per stores but they do have decent sales if you get their rewards card. I always feel bad for the birds in the cages, especially when they have been there for a while. They do interact with them, give them lots of toys and keep their enclosures clean. They get the 5th start just for that.

Usually just get my dogs food here. I cant find it anywhere else that is closer. Sometimes I get treats for him here but thats if Im not going somewhere else where I can get them. I think they even offer a section to bath your pet, which I think is really helpful. They have a variety of other things for many different kinds of pets.

Small pet shop, efficiently run, not a lot of bells and whistles, they do have a nice grooming station. They usually have what you need when you go, friendly staff, I get a kick out of Sylvia, shes a riot. Here is a hint, if theres a bunch of carts outside and you bring them in, they usually give you a discount on your purchase.

Have only been here to buy fish and fish supplies. Some of the employees know what they are doing, but others do not. I feel if you work at a pet store you should know what you are doing. It shouldnt take 20 mins to catch a fish. Very frustrating. Plus, majority of the fish we did buy from this location ended up dying.

Dont go to the Sarurday vet clinic!!!! When thry say come back in a month for a booster they charge you the FULL PRICE AGAIN and double immunize your pet!! They also change theyre prices at the groomers from the original quote AFTER theyve finished so youre forced to pay it. Very dissatisfied!

Wow this place went down fast. I try not go here unless i have to. It ranges from terrible employees to dogs running around with no leash. The bath area used to he nice..... theres usually no one at the register and you have to wait for them.....

Girl sold us what we didnt want. We wanted a blue light for our tetra Glofish and she gave us a white one. She even told us it was blue.
