Neat little spot tucked in the back corner of a small strip of shops. Both the yeast raised and the cake donuts are excellent - great flavor and cooked perfectly. The staff are friendly and helpful. I stopped in early (6am) and the specialty donuts had not been started yet. That would be my only complaint. Update...stopped in on a Saturday around 10am and there were still plenty of fresh selections left (luckily). Boston cream, maple glazed and red velvet (cake) are excellent. All have great flavor and are not too sweet. And the coffee is hot and fresh. Great donut shop. Update: I keep coming back! Had a bear claw today and it is still warm. Turns out they last thing they make each day. Possibly the best bear claw Ive ever had. Not as dense as many, warm, great flavor, slightly doughy and fluffy. Great cinnamon and apple flavor. And the husband and wife owners are really good people. NOTE: they are closed the last Sunday of each month.

awesome donuts place, my kids and family love them. I try to stop every time I have a chance. their schedule is awful. have stopped several times aswell and they have been closed because they sold out, one time I tried taking donuts to my kids 2 weeks in a row and they were closed because they sold out. I do understand is a family owned small business, but where do we fall as customers that like their product? I do believe on family owned small business but competition doesnt and in my case if I promised donuts to my kids, competition wins since they are on set customer available schedules and always have the product available. I guess at end of the day, "call before going" specially if you come from other towns.

I used to be a faithful customer until I can in this morning, I ordered a dozen donuts...The same ones I usually purchase, the lady rung me up and said $16....I didnt understand why I was paying so much, she explained to me that I got "specialty" donuts.....I never even heard this before... Long story short no one in their right mind should charge $16 for a dozen donuts, also after being a long time customer. I am NOT going to be returning to donut drop.

Their donuts are sooooo good!! I love getting there early when the donuts are still warm and fresh out of the fryer. The donuts here put the national chain to shame, and they have a great selection for a small shop. I am really glad that I found this place. The staff is always friendly and cheerful. I like their coffee too, but they are not a coffee shop where you can order a super latte da.

Fantastic donuts but fabulous FRITTERS! Wow, they got those just right, crispy, flavorful, perfect sweetness and still melts in your mouth. The only thing that could be better is the calories, if they had none I would be buying 6 fritters a day. No, really, theyre that good. Dont believe me? Try one and if you know of a better fritter let me know, because theres not one...

This is one of the best doughnut shops in the suburbs in my opinion. Friendly atmosphere, open very early in the morning, and reasonable prices. I highly recommend stopping in to try a few of their doughnuts; I really like the maple bacon one and would suggest that if you had to pick one. I hear the apple fritter is pretty good but I havent had a chance yet to try one.

Do yourself a favor and stop what you are doing and go to get an Apple Fritter from the Donut Drop. Charlie and Lilian know how to run a small business. They are charming and the food is fantastic. If you want to make a morning meeting more fun or say thank you to someone consider swinging by the Donut Drop and picking up some treats. You won’t regret it!

This is my first time ever writing a review. These donuts are amazing! Nice hot and fresh, the Nutella puff is so tasty and smooth. The fact that they open so early is a huge plus for us early morning risers. Definitely worth it and highly recommended.

My favorite, locally owned (I know the owners, super good people), Donut Shop. Mom and Pop, he even blend his own coffee! Stop in and check them out. You wont be disappointed. They have an excellent array of donuts to choose from!

You dont have to go downtown to get a good maple bacon donut. This is a great specialty donut shop for the suburbs and they also make good breakfast sandwiches!
