Moved to Schaumburg in the beginning of Summer 2014 and saw this old donut shop and was super pleased that something like that still existed. I could not wait give it a try. Soon after, my family and I went in around 7pm on a week night and enjoyed a few donuts and cookies. The donuts were just ok and the lady behind the counter was super grouchy. Subsequent trips around the same time had the same results. Today, Oct 4, 2014, we vistited around 1pm and again was greeted by a teen to early twenties girl who seemed like she wanted to be somewhere else, but the donuts were outstanding. I guess you need to go there earlier in the day because the freshness makes all the difference. As far as the employees are concerned, I would like to manage that place for a month, because with a little attitude adjustment from the people who work there, I am certain that place could be a complete goldmine.

This place has the best doughnuts but the WORST service ever! I keep going back for the amazing doughnuts but always get rudeness in return. I have gone early morning and evening and both of the ladies working there have been extremely rude to me. They do not greet or say thank you. In addition, they give off the feeling that they hate their jobs! They have given me attitude when I kindly ask them if they have more doughnuts in the back because they sometimes run out of the ones I like up front. They blatantly tell me no and make no effort to check. This is the last time I will be going there. I am looking forward to Dunkin Donuts opening right next door.

What have they done to the Country Donuts recipes?!? I remember coming here as a little girl, my favorite was always the chocolate mint. Who wouldnt love a dense, chocolate donut with mint icing and chocolate sprinkles? Well I came back here when I was visiting my parents and the chocolate mint was there, but it wasnt the same. The donut was smaller and not as soft and the mint frosting was sparse and now a weird electric green! The other favorites like the apple fritter and the old fashioned werent quite what the used to be either. These are still better than Dunkins, but man I miss the old owners/recipes!

I visited there for my first time and really loved their goodies! I purchased 4 different items (each from yeast-raised, hand-cut, muffin, and speciality). I havent tried the speciality yet, but all of them were really good. I now undersand why people cannot pass this place if its on their way. As the clerk answered to my question, "what do you recommend, what is the most popular one", I would also say "Well, all of them are good, really." Definitely coming back soon!!

Five stars for the donuts, one for the building. Great products, really. Better than Dunkin. However, it is extremely cold in the building, so its difficult to be there for long. It is also not cosy at all; it looks like the inside of a bathroom with the white tiles and the tiny white tables, so if you are the type to look for pleasant cafés to stay at and get work done, this is not it. To its credit, the place is open 24/7, so its perfect for a midnight coffee run.

Way better then Dunkin, I absolutely love their war comfort right when you walk in the door. Theyre always so happy and nice. Ive seen them give little children a free donut while they were waiting in line because the line was long. Their coffee is okay, sometimes very flavorful or not. Its usually hit or miss. Overall, donuts and staff is what keeps me coming back daily!

This donut place is a classic. You wont find a cinnamon donut like the ones here anywhere. Great quality, super consistent. Funny story - for years my family and I thought this place was actually called "Country" donuts - but its County. Same place, totally different feeling when you realize their real name. Lol. Great donut place, super close to Roselle.

I like the Donuts, but the service SUCKS, the women there in the morning are, rude, they dont smile, they dont say "HI or Thank you" they act like they have a gun to their head when they are helping you. I wont go back, they wont miss me, but letting everyone know the SERVICE SUCKS is all I want to do. Ill get my donuts from Jewel or Dominicks.

The Old Fashion is perfection especially with a cup of coffee. The cinnamon is made with powdered sugar--something Ive only seen here. Everything is delicious! I grew up eating these and now that I live in Ohio we make the County Donuts a must-stop anytime we are near Illinois! My kids say its worth the 5 hour drive just for a donut from here!

Used to be a Country Donuts a long time ago. Then they sold and it became County Donuts. Always thought it was clever of the new owners that they dropped the "R", kept the same colors and it appeared seamless. The quality didnt go down and they kept making the Chocolate Mint, my favorite, especially when fresh and hot.

A huge 5 stars to this donut shop! I had the bavarian cream donut and wow it was fresh and delicious! This place cares about quality donuts. The service isnt that hot but come on its a donut and coffee house...how friendly do you expect? As long as they keep providing quality donuts...Ill keep coming back :)

On the rare occasion, I am near here I stop - though I cannot afford the calories, the swimmers can--and this is a hit no matter which type/flavor selection you choose and no matter where you take them because these are real donuts, the kind you had when you were a kid. DDs got nothing on them.

Ive been getting donuts here for years. I have yet to find one I didnt like. They are baked fresh on site and compared to those other chains it shows. The donuts have more flavor and have a much fresher taste to them. Bonus! Theyre open 24 hours which is great for a late night treat.

Omg sooooo good! Really friendly staff, amazing selection of donuts, great price, and by far the BEST strawberry donut Ive ever had (I still need to try the others but I couldnt resist digging into the strawberry one right away) I will definitely be a regular customer after today

Home made donuts in front of you, fresh and delicious no matter the time of day. I really enjoy coming here for donuts. They are open 24 hours, friendly and helpful staff, plus they are always pumping out some of the best Cookies and Dounuts in the Chicago land are.

The chocolate cream donut was filled to the brim with cream (the way it should be) and the double chocolate donut was soft and moist. No weird aftertaste. I dont eat donuts often, but when I do, Im going to go here now and bypass the big chain. Totally worth it!

Love this place. They still make & sell good old fashioned sized donuts. Not the medium or mini sized ones you see nowadays. Always have peanut donuts, my favorite. Prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. I go here whenever Im in the area. You should too
