What happened here? I have been a customer for 18 years. I went in today to look for glasses and while the young woman was helping me look, a man stood up from behind the counter and rudely spoke to me. As I know what I want, maybe he didnt like my quick responses rejecting some of the ones she showed me. He told me that "We dont have what you want so maybe you should go somewhere else!" Seriously? I expressed that I was a regular customer and he started ranting about his business problems. It was so uncomfortable and I had to control my desire to protest his treatment of me as a customer. You know, customer service. They help you and they are nice because they would like your business. The young clerk didnt have a chance to sell me anything because he was so reactive. Well, he lost my business, my husbands, my daughters and my mothers (She usually buys 2 pairs at a time. All said, he apparently didnt need the business and lost a sale for 5 pairs of glasses. I might add his rudeness was especially telling as I am an older woman and felt it was below my dignity to have to even engage in this dialogue. If he is the owner, they dont have a prayer unless he stops playing "watch dog."

There were positives and negatives regarding my experience here. Unfortunately, the negatives outweigh the positive. The positive: the owner was nice and the women working there were friendly. And there are some nice frames in the store. The doctor was ok. Just ok. The negative: I needed bifocals or progressives and NO ONE explained to me the difference or the period needed to adjust to them. I had to ask them. It was like, "here are your glasses. Have a good day.". Also, NO ONE explained the different options (AR coating, high index, transitions, etc.) for custom lenses. I literally had to recall what features I had in my old glasses. I forgot one feature that I absolutely need: AR coating/anti Glare. After a week, I returned to get that added. Again, I was told simply how much that would be. No options explained. They need experienced people in the optician biz to up their game. Weiner is certainly lacking.

Ordered my glasses and they told me they would be one price only to later call me and tell me another cause of insurance issues, then when I call willing to pay their high price , they tell me they donated my glasses. But yet still kept my insurance copay ..... my fiance got a pair that prime 3 months after having them and also they are transition so when they darken they have a ton of speckles on the lens POOR quality and horrible service!!!

The service is poor to say the least and they overcharge for contacts and glasses. Plus they will not give you your perscription. They force you to either pay thier inflated prices or charge you an extra 75.00 to give you a copy of your perscription.
