I used to purchase glasses from them before ( different locations) , and I was satisfied until I went to this store. The last time my doctor prescribed me glasses that werent strong enough. I called For Eyes in Norridge, and told them that I dont see well enough in this glasses. I explained them that my original prescription was more than 90 days old, but I just got my glasses few weeks ago. They told me that all I had to do is get a new prescription that is less than 90 days old, and they will adjust my glasses for free. I went to the doctor office. It was horrible experience. My toddler was crying all the time, they wanted to charge me for this visit, but finally I got the prescription. I went to For Eyes, and they told me that I had to purchase new glasses even though 2 days earlier they told me that original warranty will cover it. After I wrote this review, I also contacted customer service in California. Next day, I received e-mail from director of customer service who apologized and promised to investigate. Two days later I got a phone call from the store manager in Norridge. She apologaized for her employees and promised to adjust the glasses for free.

My experience started out great. I called several times as I waited for the glasses I ordered to come in. I called a few times and they just kept saying they werent ready. Last time I called after 2 weeks of waiting, I guess they felt like doing their job and actually checking their system; they shared that they HAD BEEN on backorder. Why they didnt share that upon ordering is beyond me. The solution they offered was to come in and pick a different frame since they had NO CLUE when to expect my glasses. Then, they told me I had to cover the difference of the new frames I had picked out... No offer to expedite or cover the difference considering the terrible customer service and 3 weeks worth of headaches from not having my glasses. I guess Ill wait another 2 weeks. Terrible service!!

LOVE this place! I am not sure why the rating is so low. The people in this place are great and very helpful. I had an issue at a job I had where they decided to put in brighter lights and I had to get a Dr note to remove the lights and the ladies were great my company was being jerks about how the letter was written and the ladies handled it. I went in yesterday and somehow I ended up with 2 insurances this year for vision and Janay was GREAT!! She looked over both and told me how to get the most out of both! I have been going here since 2010 and NEVER EVER had an issue with anyone here. When I call to set up an appointment they always have something available for the same day! Again NOT sure why some people said that this place is bad they have been GREAT!!!

I dislike this place very much!!! Seems like the employees have never had any kids. Any little thing a child does seems to bother them so much!!!!!!! I would never say my kids are well behave but they are also NOT troublemakers. Both of my visits have been very unpleasant and although I would never purchase anything from this store. I was there because of my mom. Having spent so much money on glasses and cant even seem to be able to fix the issue.

Always busy. Long wait. Ordered glasses with one of those progressive plans. Did not realize I wasnt getting single vision, but bifocals. The sales person didnt explain that clearly but promote these packages to choose from. Now I have to reorder. Luckily they have a guarantee if youre not satisfied. If you dont want or need bifocals, do not choose from their progressive packages they promote. Progressive = bifocals.
