Very friendly staff. I ran into a difficult insurance problem and the optometrist spent a good deal of time unraveling it to make sure my eyes were taken care of. And its a funny thing. I always hated shopping for eyeglasses and the optometrist immediately saw the underlying problem, something I hadnt thought of myself. I never could find a pair that looked right. He explained that because my eyes a little close together, the average eyeglasses werent suitable for my face. He found several pairs to try, and finally I didnt look like Mr. Magoo. And very reasonable prices. Ill be back there for my next trip. Nancy Oak Park

I feel like I got scammed here. I really like the doctor, but the optician is sketchy. I ordered a pair of glasses, I assumed I was getting Crizal, since they have signs for it in the office. The lenses scratched very very easily. Ive had Crizal lenses before and never had a problem. I tried to get the lenses replaced under the warranty, and was told that there was no warranty because I had used my insurance. I tried to ask about this, but someone came in off the street and started chatting with the optician, and I was ignored.

The entire staff there is excellent. Knew how to bill our insurance, was aware of most current styles and the staff was very helpful when choosing frames. They are good with kids and our children felt very comfortable there. I will continue to go to The Eyeglass Shop and highly recommend them.

I highly recommend this place for good, honest, personable service. The owner here treats you like a human being and goes out of his way to make you happy. I have been going to this shop for many years and have bought many glasses there. I have also had many eye exams there.

After going to several eyeglass shopes with no success in getting my favorite sunglasses repaired and not very good customer service, in my fraustration I found The Eyeglass Shop in Oak Park . Customer service was great and my sunglasses good as new , thanks!

Brilliant and fun. Being an artist he suggested Progressive lenses. Being able to see the detail on a twenty dollar bill filled me with JOY! Very reasonable. We also talk about Greece a lot. I also like the unique very hard to get Designer brands.

I agree - the staff and optometrists in this store are excellent. Minos is a craftsman of the first order and they are all courteous and kind and knowledgeable.
