I took my mother to Wilson Optical to get eyeglasses. We chose this place to support local business in Maywood because there are not many private owned buisinesses that thrive in Maywood,IL. We went in December of 07. It is now March 08 and my mother still does not have her glasses!! We have called multiple times. Either they do not answer the phone or the receptionist (who is VERY unprofessional and ignorant) is totally clueless. The receptionist always says, "the manager will call you back". I asked when will the manager be in, no one ever knows. I have left my name and number several times over the past 3 months. I still have no clue when my mom will get her glasses. They just say,"We will call you when the glasses come in". I still have not spoken to the office manager...I do not even know the name of the manager or the recpionist because they never divulge any names because they are so rude!! I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy!!!!

This place is horrible. The eye doctor is about the only thing I could tolerate during and after my visit. My appointment was April 1 and it is now nearly June 1st and I do not have my glasses. The receptionist is very rude and ignorant. She never knows the simple answers to questions. She doesnt know when my glasses will be in or how to track them. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
