I have been using JCPenny Optical for quite a while and i have seen many Optometrist at this location. The employees who work there are amazing and kind, the Current Optometrist ( Dr. Alla Pasman ) is horrible. She wrote me a wrong prescription for contacts, she said it would take time for my eyes to settle in the lens and it should be okay. This never happened, i returned for a new exam and she starting blaming the world for my eyes being bad and did not take responsibility for writing a bad prescription. She said in her notes she wrote i had 20/20 vision when I left last time and the problem is I may have glaucoma or I maybe diabetic. She then checked my eyes, told me to get some eye drops and see her again in 2 weeks. I did this and she charged me for both visits and said it was a medical checkup so she could charge me more. When she realized that she wrote a bad prescription, she went back to telling me that i will lose my vision because i have glaucoma or because i have medical conditions. I also mentioned that i do not have insurance and she went on about how I am wrong and i do have insurance. I just do not know about it. I would not recommend this place while Dr. Pasman is still here. Overall she is very rude, childish, and unprofessional. The reason i give even 1 star is because the manager is an amazing person and always helpful.

I found my experience with Dr. Pasman as excellent. I was very nervous as my eyesight changed a lot in the past two years. She was very thorough diagnostically and gave me the proper treatment and prescription for my eyes. I would highly recommend Dr. Pasman to anyone. They are very kid friendly and I made appointments for my children to see Dr. Pasman next week.

From the moment that started describing an eye condition to me, I could tell I was dealing with a professional that both deeply cared about her craft, was detail oriented and was kind and compassionate.
