NEVER EVER GO THERE. These people are the worst on plant. I am so mad and upset with them. Bad customer service and the most RUDE and unprofessional store manager “Michelle”. We had our SHIH TZU PUPPY groomed there for three times. Every time there was something wrong. Till yesterday… We dropped our puppy at 1:00PM to be groomed, face, body with nails cut. Very simple very clear. By 5:30PM we heard nothing back from them. We called to check and we were told they did just the body without the face because our dog got “stressed out” and was biting the clippers .We asked them to retry with the face because it’s the most important part of the grooming. 30 Minutes later they called saying she can’t do it because the dog is biting and for her safety she doesn’t want to do it and will take 10$ off the check. When I started to show her that I am upset with this I was transferred to the store manager and I had the worst customer service experience of my life. She was so rude unwilling to listen keep talking over me and reaping herself over and over. My complain if we were told that she can’t do the face we would have cancelled the whole thing. She did not apologize for anytime she did not offer any suggestions and kept interrupting me. When we picked the dog the manger came and asked us to re-bring the dog next morning at 8 am as they will have grooming expert visiting the store. So we did and 20 minutes later we were told by again they can’t do it. They are waste of time. They have no experience and the most important they are RUDE. DON’T GO THERE.

Dropped our dog off at doggy day camp, and got a call two hours later that there had been "an incident" and our dog had been rushed into emergency surgery to have her leg stapled close. Petsmart wouldnt/couldnt/didnt know what happened to her until i got to the store and found my pup fully sedated after surgery. They said she slipped and her leg was sliced open on a cage. They claimed responsibility and paid for all the medical bills, but refused to give us anything in writing about what happened or their promise to pay the $500+ in bills ("youll have to contact Petsmart lawyers". next time we returned we were asked to sign a new contract. The woman working the desk flipped the paper over saying "sign here" (shady!). We asked what it was and she said new contract because some things had changed. We asked what changed and she could not explain what changed/didnt know. So I stepped aside to read the contract and here is what changed... there is a new clause that fully releases petsmart from ALL liabililty. So if this accident were to happen again due to faulty equipment on their end, negligence, etc we would be now be responsible for the bill. I asked her what that means in cases where an accident is their fault (like last time). She said "those accidents are looked ar on a case by case basis".... yeah, thats not how contracts work. Very shady. We wont be back.

We dropped off our 25-lb poodle on the morning of Thursday, March 31st, and picked her up on Sunday, April 3rd, at 4 pm, and we arrived 2.5 hours before the estimated time we gave to them. While we were being checked out the woman at the front desk called to bring out our dog twice. Approximately 5 minutes later, another woman came out and whispered to the front desk rep, and the front desk rep pushed her inside their backroom. Another few minutes later the front desk rep came back and told me that our dog had an accident (peed on her back a little), and she wanted to know if we wanted to wait until they give her a bath, or we want to give her a bath. I had the inspiration and said that we will clean her, and this allowed me to see how dirty she was exactly. I wish I could post pictures. In my opinion she must have peed a large quantity, or multiple times, and she must have sat in her own pee for at least 15-30 minutes. This is not an accident, and she was not taken out 4 times a day, with the last time being 3 hours before we picked her up. After we gave her a good 10 min shampoo, her fur remained yellowish, which is an indication of how long she sat in her pee. Needless to say that this is the first and last time I will be using Petsmart Pet Hotel, and that I will be looking for another vet and grooming services.

I brought my dog in the first time and they did a great job. But the second time (in September) I brought my dog in, they lied to me and charged for things that were never done. This second time, my dog was there for over 4 hours and I paid $66 for a grooming, teeth cleaning, ear cleaning, and nail cutting. Of all the things I paid for the only thing that was actually done was they cut her hair on her body and maybe gave her a bath. I was already so nervous for leaving her there for four hours that when I got her back I was so excited to see her I didnt notice all the things not done. Well now a month after her grooming I have to take her to get groomed again and pay $50+ again. I am definitely never bringing my dog back to this place again and will not recommend it to anyone. Although I did go back and get a refund of the teeth cleaning for $11. The other items I noticed that were not done I did not get a refund. If you bring your dog here triple check that the groomers actually did what you paid for.

Grooming=joke! I took my boxer puppy in for a bath with all the fixings, and also paid for the nail grinding add on. I stood in the store due to the reviews of this place, the groomers do not seem compassionate to the animals. After walking around for literally 2 hours, I decided to check in and see if my dog was ready. They seemed annoyed that I didnt allow them to notify me on their own time. Here comes my dog, excited in usual boxer fashion, jumps up for kisses and ripped my skin open down my forearm because her nails were SO SHARP. Isnt that what the additional nail grinding was for? Dont pay extra because the add on is a joke. My dog came out with sharper nails than she went in with.. I asked for them to fix it, they werent to happy, and the nails still were sharp. I decided to leave it, but I will not be returning to this location. They ALWAYS have opening vs. Oswego and Fox Valley having no openings for days. I wonder why that is... DONT USE THE GROOMING!!

I have shopped at this location many times. I have several cats and two small dogs. I have not used the vet or boarding but I have bought supplies for my pets here. The store is clean, well organized and there is always someone on the floor to help with any questions you may have. I like this a lot! Today I went there especially to use my coupon for a free bag of dog food or cat food. I got this item and several more including several clearance items. Love that they have a clearance area. The cashier today was just okay she was sitting down when we arrived to the register and didnt really seem to be doing well. I think maybe they should have let her go home and rest and put someone else at the register. She managed to get the items rang up and into the bag. Overall, most of my visits to this location have been pleasant and I have always been able to find what I need. I will shop here again.
