This is where Ive always taken my dog for grooming, he had always received raving reviews. Today when I dropped Rex off I had a terrible feeling about this visit. I was checking Rex in when an employee coming in said "Its going to be another one of those days" I returned home only to receive a call to come and get Rex, that he was having a panic attack, shivering and barking. I returned and I could hear a big blower in the back room. The employee that had made the previous remark brought Rex out to me and stated that she was bathing Rex and he began shivering and barking. She continued to tell me that it would be best to take him to a vet to be groomed.. I left there and stopped at a nearby groomer who looked at Rex and she saw no problem and finished grooming Rex while I waited.. The groomer said Rex was a well behaved and there were no problems. I heard no barking from Rex while I waited and he looked so handsome!!

Has most everything you need for your pet in one place. Cats, dogs, amphibians, fish, rabbits, mice & even hermit crabs food and supplies. Food, Grooming supplies, litter needs, habitats (homes...ie. cages) and some medical products also. They also carry live prey such as feeder mice & live crickets. A vet clinic, groomers & trainers are all on site. I do wish their main floor staff and cashiers were more knowledgable of the animals they cater to and the products they carry. Would like seeing competitive prices, comparable to Walmart, Menards or Blaines. (These are just a few local stores in nearby NW JOLIET &SW ROMEOVILLE that also carry pet supplies)

I go here for fish stuff specifically. Most of the fish are in good health, but it could be a little better. Still, not bad for a mega chain. The staffs knowledge about fish can be a bit subpar at times. I dont expect them to know everything, but I do with they were more knowledgeable. Telling the difference between snails for instance should be a standard. They also mislabeled the sex of fish as times as well. Still, not a bad place to get a first fish. Remember to do your own research on fish compatibility before you get a fish. Never depend on a salesman to give you that info correctly anywhere.

I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WE HAVE BEEN GOING THEIR FOR QUITE A WHILE . NEVER AGAIN WILL I THE Grooming STAFF IS EXTREMELY RUDE!!!!!!! I dont know who trains these people to work with customers let me tell u its not the best. I just wish a management manger would give me a response back... They told me they had to see if they can do anything for my pitbull... like really why give service then "" Im not touching that dog like really" because he barked hello girls thats what dogs do they bark negative stars I would give them if they had that option.

The groomer sucks here. Ive been here a few times for simple nail trims for my dog. Hes only 10 lbs so its not that hard. Ive waited 45 minutes for this to be done, they do a crappy job and ive had to bring him back 2 weeks later because they didnt trim enough off. They also completely miss some nails. Never again, ill drive up to bolingbrook, havent had any problems with them.

Terrible Service! Doesnt even deserve one star! They left my 6 month puppy in a kennel for 4-5 hours!!! After the 5 hours they decided to call us and say they didnt have time to take care of her. Mind you we had an appointment set! When we came to pick her up she was crying!!! I would WARN ANYONE about bring your dog to this location!!! Just DONT do it!!!!

I had a horrible experience worried the whole time I dropped my dog off I seen ripping my dogs beared left to right I didnt like how they treated my tea cup Yorkie its like they beat her and then gave back to me she is shy now and flinches at me when I got to pet her now wich never used to happen plz for the love of God dont bring your dog here

Our dog was there at pet hotel in June. He died there. Nobody gave a clear answer just called us while we were out of the country to put him down. Granted he was 12 but he went in there okay. Now 3 months later the grooming Dept is calling to make an appt for him. What a joke this place is.

From top to bottom, all personal that we have encountered while shopping or grooming or what ever the case may be have gone to great lengths to make us feel comfortable & welcomed. The staff there is very professional & friendly. It is a place that our puppies look forward to going to.

They have an awesome staff and are very friendly! I can always find what im looking for and employees know their stuff! The grooming salon does a wonderful job as well on my dogs and I refer all my family and friends. You can also board your dogs there when you need to.

I know its a bring yet pets kind of place, but damn is sticks of wet dog, poo & urine. The bathrooms were unappealing and I just stopped because I needed crickets. Which are too high priced here, but no time to go to my usual spot. Ill stick with small. Businesses.

I always shop here for my golden girl Niab, today was her first time coming with me , took her for nail trim and the staff was so friendly ! Wonderfull with my girl and me lol. So nice to go to a store with amazing staff. The manager is doing a great job, thank you

I volunteer at the humane society that partnered with this Petsmart. I go to this petsmart once a week. The employees are nice, but the bathrooms are always terrible. Their prices are on the higher end, and I can usually find the same items cheaper somewhere else.

Grooming department is utter garbage. They dont do the requested job properly, they yell at the animals, management has no concern for their employees. Truly a miserable excuse for a grooming service, DO NOT BRING YOUR PET for both your sake and theirs

My go-to store for pet supplies in a pinch. Staff have always been friendly & someone offers help. Prices can be a bit high on some things (toys, leashes, treats) but food is normally competitively priced. Keep an eye out for sales & clearance items.

I was having trouble finding my usual dog food and feeling exasperated. But an employee stopped to ask if I needed help and found exactly what I was looking for on a top shelf that was hidden by a different formula. I was so.pleaded!!!

This petsmart has amazing service but its not the cleanliness and my dog likes to sniff everything and he was licking the nasty floor and the disqusting shelves but they had everything my dogs needed and there was amazing service

I find it hard pressed to even give them one star! They are EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude. They have people working there that are not properly trained to groom dogs. Could not handle a 10 lbs. mini Daschund. GO ELSEWHERE!
