Generally speaking our trips here have been your pretty standard experience. No one is extremely helpful, they are all very pleasant, but the products more or less sell themselves and no one goes out of their way to do anything extra (like most big box retailers). I was a little unhappy yesterday though because my 70 year old mother went with the grand kids yesterday to buy a new stroller for the baby. They refused to take an already assembled stroller out of the box and unfold it for her, or even help her to the car with her purchase, citing "liability issues". I dont understand how they can assemble power wheels and bicycles for an extra fee and that apparently does not entail any liability. Their handicapped parking is not that great there so I wish they would take the whole situation into consideration and call a manager for a final judgement call if they dont have the authority to open a box.

I purchased a Bike from the Gurnee store. When I opened it to put it together for a Christmas present, I noticed it was all scratched up. The day after Christmas I called them to let them know. I was told I could bring it back but I would have to pay $10.00 more for the one on the floor that has already been put together ( which was also scratched up). After calling a few stores I did find one at the Toys R Us in Highland Park. I explained the situation to the Joe the manager. He put the one to the side. When my wife arrived he opened the box to make sure she was satisfied with the shape of the bike. He then added bubble wrap in there to make sure it did not get scratched up in transit to my house. I think Joe went over and beyond what he is expected to do. Therefor I would like to Thank Joe. Thank you Joe.

Horrible customer service. I tried to figure out if an item was in stock that I saw on the Toys R Us webpage and they were not willing to look for me. I reached a representative and before getting the item number she put me on hold and left me there for 10 minutes before I hung up. I could just tell by her tone when answering the phone that she was a miserable person. I am not surprised to see that there are no good ratings for this store. I am sure they dont need peoples business because of their thriving store.

I call the place to ask about thomas lunch kit which cost 8$. They did not want go see if they have it, after I told them go to see they told me that they have a lot of thomas lunch kit and they can not see how much they cost. When I drive there I sow, they did NOT have ANY thomas lunch kit. It was very very bad service! Do not call them before you will come, they are not going to give you the right information! It was my first and the last time with that store location!

HORRIBLE STORE POLICIES AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Dont waste your time dealing with this store, they do not deserve the business. Phones do not get answered, people are not helpful, and while they claim they price match, its restrictive to the point of not worth it. I hope they close and a decent toy store opens in its place.

I hate this store. Its understaffed messy and the stuff is stacked super tall. They also never know if they have stuff in stock if you look it up online.
