The MOST UNORGANIZED DISGUSTING STORE TO WORK AT !! the small room to lunch-in , is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! !CANT EVEN EAT YOUR FOOD IN THERE , theres always a mess ! Cant even take your own lunch cause the microwave and refrigerator are a mess ! You wouldnt want to store your food or warm your food in there! The bathroom always smells bad and its never really clean ! There was this day that I went in the bathroom and there was dirty pads on the floor ! I asked if someone could go and clean the bathroom and nobody really took action of the situation , some customers were even complaining to me about the bathroom which it bothered me cause that wasnt my job! Anyways , to top it up with , I heard one time that some of the managers got high and drunked and still had the urge to present themselves to work the next morning ! One of them couldnt even remember what she was doing the day before b/c she was confusing me with someone else ! IN MY OPINION , I think they really should act like grownups and be aware of their responsibilities! Oh and theyre so unorganized ,! THIS is NOT one of the best places to work at or shop even if it looks like it is ! I went in there thinking it would be a decent job but it came out to be the complete opposite !

I took my 8 month daughter for first time to a toy store, so I seated her in the shopping cart, after paying any walking out, she did flex her leg and her ankle got stuck between the iron bars, It was horrible, she screaming, me holding her, the shopping cart moving, I started screaming for help, nobody showed up, by the time someone came me baby girl managed to pull her ow leg out. Then they sent one worker to me and she start making responsible for what happened, instead of calling for professional help. They didnt filled a report, or any manager came, since the money truck arrived at the same time it was no hard to choose. We were left alone, the shopping cart specific says that the seat area is ok for my baby. AND IT IS NOT. SHE ALMOST BROKE HER LITTLE ANKLE. I took her to ER by my own. Called corporate office at Toy R Us filled a report, they said that the regional manager will call in 48 hours. Has been a whole week. THEY JUST CARE ABOUT REACHING THE SALES NUMBERS. IS NOT JUST THE WORST SERVICE BUT A DANGEROUS PLACE TO GET Your CHILDREN INJURED.

Been to this Toys R Us only once. I bought an item for my little brother but realized it was too small for his age. I am calling the store to try and find out what their refund/exchange policy is and NOBODY answers! Most stores have their return/refund information on back of the receipt, but not Toys R Us. Which is perfectly fine, because they have a website to view the refund policy. HOWEVER, THE WEBSITE DOES NOT MENTION ANYTHING ABOUT LOST RECEIPTS OR EXCHANGES/REFUNDS PAST 90 DAYS! Once again, that is perfectly fine, you can just call the store and ask right? Well no! I was on the phone for more than 5 minutes waiting for an answer from this store and there has been NO ANSWER! Phone just rings and rings and nobody picks up! I had to call the North Riverside store to get an answer. Its holiday season, you know you need more employees than usual, so start having enough employees so they can deal with your in-store customers and the rest of us! I called 4 times!

I recently visited this store to buy a Gift for a family member. I was there for about 40minutes deciding on items. I went to checkout and noticed I left my wallet in my car. Went to car and saw my car gone. I found out that it was towed! I called police and also said car was towed by Toys R Us when they took me to the police department. Apparently they saw a "random" vehicle parked in the property for almost an hour and thought it wasnt someones car currently shopping. Now I lost money and couldnt buy my gift. The girl who picked up my call from the police station was very rude and didnt give me towing company info. She said I would have to walk back to store because its outside. WOW!

Employees are ridiculously rude. Went for a Pokemon event and was told in an extremely snobby tone that my brother and I were too old to get the free card. Yes the event is geared towards kids but there wasnt even a big turn out (didnt have to stand in line like I have had to do for other events at othe Toys R Us that I normally go to. Plus they still had well more than half the box of cards left) If there was a larger turn out then I could understand but even still, the two women should have been nicer about it. Its safe to say I wont ever be returning.

I was swamped and had my infant with me who wasnt in a good mood at all for waking him up to go shopping thanks to Sherry for providing a great customer service. She helped me get everything that I needed from buying my pool and everything else that my kids wanted. If it wasnt for her I would of been there much longer or would of left because I was dealing with my fussy baby. Great customer services and it was organized and cleaned. Please let her know that I say thank you once more. We will be coming back to shop here.

The staff I met at Toys R Us were extremely courteous, assisting in helping my wife and I find what we were looking for. They also reached out to another store location on our behalf trying to locate an item the no longer had in stock. We really appreciate their going the extra step. Thank you Melrose Park Toys R Us. I give Toys R Us a #10 rating.

Staff is really rude. I asked saw online that they had a certain toy in stock and it wasnt on the shelf. I tols a staff member about it snd he just shrugged his shoulders and didnt bother to check. I bought the toy online with in store pickup in the parking lot and THEN they went to the back to get it. Not very enthusiastic about their jobs.

Only was here once for about 20 minutes to browse around and pick up a online order. Staff was friendly and helpful and it was straight forward on how to get my order. My only concern is the type of crowd that shops here doesnt seem like the highest quality of people (to put it as nicely as possible.)

I came in looking for something that was supposedly in Stock- as per online. couldnt find it on the shelves and found that they had an inventory mistake. Staff was nice enough to look for it but just a little annoyed that I came all the way in for nothing.
