Never do business with these guys! They did their hardest to push me away from just buying a motorcycle with cash just so they could make more money by financing it all. I made the mistake of giving in since i just wanted to get the motorcycle out of excitement. The Motorcycle price was 11,000 and my loan is for 19,000!!!!!! thats $8000 more! 1100 just for shipping and handling? I drove it out of the dealer... what shipping and handling? it also has 50 miles on it and was dropped before i bought it, so im guessing someone else already paid shipping and handling. Another thing is the credit union they use for financing does not accept online payments? Who would think that in 2016 you still cant make payments online? I travel an average of 9-11 months a year for work, and the salesman at motorworks knew what I do for work and the amount of travel involved... Didnt they think to mention that the only way to make a payment is to visit a branch or a sister branch physically? How am I supposed to do that when Im abroad for 4 months straight. Also the winter storage package is a rip off. Dont fall for it. There are other places in Chicago that offer a much better deal. I feel like Ive been robbed, and cheated, lied to. I plan on fighting them to take this bike back because I want nothing to do with motorworks Chicago. I should have know they were shady when they were badmouthing their competing dealers in Chicago which i find very unprofessional. Dont do what I did, and let the excitement of having a new bike cloud your judgment. These guys will take complete advantage of that and rip you off. It was my first time buying a bike and Ive learned some valuable lessons.

Horrible experience here. Came in to look at a motorcycle couple of weeks ago, I was helped promptly and everything seemed good until we started talking about pricing. They dont want to reveal pricing information unless you want to put a deposit down and when I got them to do it, it was ridden with frivolous fees and charges. I was promised that they could work further on pricing when it was purchasing time. Fast forward 3 weeks, with the cash in hand I called and made it clear I was ready to put a deposit down that day and pay the rest in cash the next day. Asked the same person for a quote, I was actually quoted a higher price than before and I was told that there is absolutely no way they could work with me on price as the bike I was looking at was a "hot item". I pointed out that the same bike has been sitting for 3 weeks for such a "hot item" it seemed that was a long time. I was insulted over the phone and in person, jerked around so this place will not see a single penny from me as I purchased my bike from MCC that same day at a much more fair price. Do yourself a favor and dont even bother to talk to these guys and just go ahead and call MCC in Villa Park instead.

I had a similar experience as another reviewer with the receptionist. I first emailed to schedule an appointment to the service department. After not hearing back for a day, I called and spoke to the receptionist. She was nice, took my info and said they would call me back shortly (10am). I waited 5 hours, no callback, so I emailed again. No response. I called back again and she sounded surprised on the phone that they hadnt contacted me, said that they would call me shortly. I later received email saying the same thing she had said on the phone. Its now been 2 days and still no call back. I took my business to MCC instead. They answered the phone, had my tires ordered and appointment set up in under 10 mins. Im not sure if its just a bad receptionist or not, but its odd that this has happened to more than one person. Shop looks nice, hopefully I can use them in the future.

I have to say this place was very unprofessional when it came to selling me a bike. The sales associate was slow to respond and couldnt fax the correct paper work to my bank. I also told them in an email that I had limited time and needed the bike to be ready to go. Seeing as how I was paying cash for the bike I thought this would be quick. However I was wrong nothing was ready and they felt it was important to take me around and introduce me to everyone even the guy that gets them coffee. Spending 30K you would think they would be a little more understanding to your needs but guess not. All they wanna do is get their check off sheet signed. I will never buy from them again. Do yourself a favor and go buy a bike at Team MCC in villa park. You wont believe how much better your treated.

I had my K1200LT kick stand in some hot tar and guess what?? Yea, it tipped over into a parked pick-up. No damage to the car but my windshield came off the rails. The next day I was scheduled to make the trip with my wife to Niagra Falls. No windshield..No trip! The next day at 8:30 AM Steve opened the door and even though he had a busy schedule that day, he took a look, stopped everything else and totally took apart the front end of my baby. With a little impromptu work he totally hooked up the windshield and had me back on the road in less than an hour. Where do you get such service?? Thanks to all the folks at Motoworks! Steve, youre the only to ever touch my bike in the future. Thanks Again Dave Hansen

I have had the pleasure of going to Motoworks Chicago and the experience was awesome. Craig was so informative on everything I needed and wanted. I purchased a Scala Rider communication system, bike cover, and cell phone mount. All with easy installation and very well instructed on making the right choice in buying for your bike. The entire staff was so kind and smiled back with welcoming arms; I wish I could say the same for Yamaha but their key member was d routed by a bunch of rude workers. I recommend Motorworks Chicago to all who are in search of a bike/accessories. All the 1 star reviews below are just crab apples or not even real. Thanks Motoworks Chicago!!!

I started coming here for service (ironically, on a bike I bought at Bobs for those of you who have been around here). I finally bought a Ducati from Grant and Johnny last year, and the experience was great. I was never pressured to finance, and after negotiating the price, all the charges were reasonable and customary. 100% would I buy here again. For the guy who claimed they were racist for not jumping on him as he came through the door, thats how they treat everyone. They are low-pressure and want you comfortable just browsing around. I prefer that to the average car dealership, where I feel like the chum basket in the middle of a shark feeding frenzy.

The service department are rockstars in my book. I actually loss my scooter, I thought it was in the service department of where I bought it, only to find out that place on North Ave. closed and I had no contact...FF Only to find out that I had it towed to this place because I lost some keys and had to get the lock replace ( still looking for storage box though ) anyway, my scooter was there in storage for close to 10 years, yikes right ? I have my scooter as of Saturday August 6th with only 6000 miles running like a top and yes I had to pay for storage but at substantial savings...they were patient understanding and accommodating ~ MD
