I will NEVER buy another vehicle from this dealership again!!!! It was recommended that I see a specific salesman by a friends who has purchased a vehicle from him in the past. I went in and everything was great. He was very helpful, the test drive went great and then it went downhill from there. As soon as we started talking price, he became very aggressive and down right rude. When I told him the price I was able to afford for the car, he flung the paper around at me and said "then what options do you want to take off" when some of the options that he added were not options I was even looking for!!! With regret, I purchased a NEW vehicle. Since then, the turn signal module has had to be replaced. The windshield had a leak causing the car chassis to fill with water. While driving, I turned the corner and water came pouring onto my feet, so they also had to replace the carpet. On top of that, they do not offer loner vehicles. So they drove me to Enterprise to RENT A CAR! I sat for about 20 minutes at Enterprise until they discovered they didnt have a Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram car on hand and in order for the Dealership to cover the cost of the rental, it had to be one of those cars. So I waited another 5 - 10 minutes for someone from Enterprise to drive me BACK to dealership where they gave me a rental car WITH NO GAS!! I had to put gas in it in order to drive it back home. Sometimes when driving my jeep, it seems to skip gears. They said they scanned the car and claimed nothing is wrong. I for sure will be getting a second opinion on that one! Oh did, I mention a blower motor on the dashboard was also replaced. You would think that when buying a BRAND NEW $40,000 car, that there shouldnt be any of these issues!!!! And here was the final punch in the face from the dealership. I brought my jeep in with one of the tires in the back because I had run over a razor blade. One of the service guys had come over to the car. I opened the back, he looked at it, and without even inspecting the tire, told me I needed a new tire. I asked him for a price on a new tire BEFORE we did anything. Before I knew it, my car had been pulled into the shop, they took off the spare tire and started putting on a new tire, when I never agreed to it. The new tire would have been $300. I asked him if they inspected the tire from the inside. He walked away and came back with the piece of razor blade and dropped it on the counter and said "there was really no need, it was in the tire up to here (as he pointed to the blade)" I asked him to put my spare back on and I took it somewhere else, where they inspected the tire. The funny thing is, the place I took it to even had a hard time locating the pierce in the tire. $25 bucks later, my tire was fixed. I am in shock that this dealership would try and take advantage of anyone. Just because I am a woman doesnt make me an idiot!!!! I STRONGLY suggest that if you are interested in a Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge or Ram to go to a different dealership! Or choose another brand of car!

I bought a used Jeep Grand Cheokee Overlander, I couldnt afford a new car of any kind, I thought I was getting a great SUV. I loved the color, candy red, looked great, ran a little rough, but I was told it just needed a tune up. The breaks were done, oil changed, the basics, looking back now, I should have known something was wrong. I even told my friends and co-workers to look into your used vehicles and one of my co-workers even bought her car from Wickstrom. Now, I hope and pray she doesnt have problems. But, back to my SUV, I bought it, I thought it was a great deal. Within two weeks the tire sensor broke (I had it fixed) and the others keep tripping the sensor light. Within two months the engine went, couldnt afford a new engineer, so I had the 2 heads rebuilt, very expensive. Within a months time the wheel bearings went on my SUV. I was told by other mechanics that Ive talked to, that if the car had been evaluated correctly, the engine problems would have been found and not listed as just needing a tune up. I dont know for sure, but with the computers your techs use today, I can only assume the mechanics are right. So now my ten thousand dollar SUV became a fourteen thousand dollar SUV. Needless to say, I was very disappointed in your presentation of a good reliable vehicle.... I know, now since Ive bought the SUV, that the "AS IS" means buyer beware, but at those prices, I would have assumed the SUV would last longer than two months before any major problems showed up. My love for this SUV became a nightmare. The SUV needs to come back in for service, as it dies at stop lights, not all the time, but it does it often enough that I now shift it in neutral at these stops, in hopes it doesnt die out. As I said, I was very happy in the beginning, but now, if I could give the SUV back, I would. As for your service department, who have since worked on the SUV, the service was great. I only wish whoever checked over the vehicle when it first came in, had done a better job in catching these problems prior to me, or anyone else, buying this vehicle. The service techs tried hard to help me in every way to get these problems fixed, as they saw I was very upset and not really in a position to buy another vehicle. Sorry to say, Im not a happy customer and due to this, I, now, would tell my friends to be very careful before buying a used vehicle. So, as I said, if I could have bought new, I would have...... Some of us can only afford to buy used vehicles and we really hope and pray we have made a good choice.....I only hope, there are NO other major problems with this vehicle, as I will be making payments on this vehicle for the next few years.

We live near Schaumburg and after reading online reviews and checking out more local Dodge dealerships, we decided to go a little out of our way and check out Wickstrom Dodge in Barrington. We were greeted before ever getting out of the vehicle and Toby Holtz was our salesman who took his time to work with us on identifying what vehicle we were looking for. We were looking for a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT Blackout Edition all Black. We had some specific needs as the vehicle will be used for transporting a person who is disabled with a scooter and Toby was very helpful in finding the right fit and letting us test drive to ensure it was the model we wanted with the features we wanted. Their location didnt have the exact color that we wanted and didnt have a remote start so Toby and his manager arranged to get one from another location to fit our exact needs. A few days later we went back and brought a vehicle in for trade and were dealt with very fairly on the trade with very little haggling about what they would pay and what we would accept. Finalizing the purchase at a price we wanted was also done with very little haggling. We had identified the vehicle we wanted and the price we would agree to within about an hour of being at the dealer on the initial visit. Picking up the vehicle, completing trade in and all paperwork was simple and fairly quick unlike what weve had to go through at other dealerships in the past. They work with you AT THE SALESMANS DESK too. No dragging you into a small cramped room to sweat you out to try to talk you into things you dont want. Finance Manager comes to the desk to go over everything so you sit in one place and they all come to you to get the deal done. Toby was very proactive in getting everything arranged and set up to make our experience a quick and enjoyable process. I never thought Id say buying a vehicle would be enjoyable but this one was. Also, unlike some dealerships, this one sent us on our way with our brand new 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT Blackout Edition with a full tank of gas. Weve purchased in the past from other dealerships that send you on your way with 1/4 tank which is terrible service. Highly recommend Wickstrom Dodge if youre in the market for a Dodge or any of their other lines of vehicles. If hes there, please ask to have Toby Holtz be your salesman. He is great and will work hard for your business.
