Purchased a 2012 Ford F150 Lariat. 6 months into ownership, they discover the coolant system has several tubes leaking coolant. Have gone through the ringers with these guys for a week now, missing way too much work to bring my truck to them, and then more to come pick it up...each time now, they either havent had the part, or they got the wrong part in to fix it, prolonging my not having my work truck. They have said on two different occasions that the problems Im having w/ my truck are very odd for how new it is, but "thats the risk you take when you buy a used vehicle" So, you take a big expensive risk buying a used vehicle from Ford City, even though it went through this big fancy inspection? Also, dont listen to them on their "PremiumCare" ford plan - it only covered $300 of my repair, and I still had to pay a $100 deductible, leaving me with an extra $200.00 on top of the remainder of the repair. After they screwed up for the 3rd time, I was told by "Don" that I was being irrational in my frustration because I was upset that they still didnt have my truck fixed, and it "wasnt their fault" Passing the buck and blaming someone else after your prior track record is unbelievably unprofessional. You may have ordered the wrong part. They may have shipped the wrong part. None of that matters from the customers perspective, and when you have customers dropping that much cash for a truck from you, you should expect them to get upset when big expensive repairs rear their ugly heads so soon after the date of purchase. I tell Don I want my truck back and Ill take it someplace else, and he proceeds to tell me that its too late, hes already ordered the correct parts. Are you serious? I wanted to give them at least 3 stars, because "Dons" manager, "Derek" did finally agree to at least get me a rental car for work while I wait, again, for them to fix my truck, again, but being told my requests are irrational, and I am not being "understanding" because "This is not their fault" by "Don" completely ruined my experience. I love Ford, and will always buy Ford, but I will *NEVER* do business with Ford City in Champaign, Illinois again.

it really is too bad that you cant give zero stars! I will never go back, Horrible customer service, very rude, overpriced, I attempted to contacted the Service Manager and General Manager after my service experience, with absolutely NO response back from either one! Try out Rick Ridings in Monticello-- they are much more cost effective, and much more customer service friendly! i am going to quote a review from another individual that pretty much sums it all up: Nortons2001 8/17/2014 Reason For Visit Service "Terrible customer service in service dept. " From the first time I used Ford Citys service department to the last time my wife dropped off my truck for repairs, the people working the service intake department made us feel like we were putting them out. Every time I walk in, there was never a "How can I help you?", but a look (if they acknowledge you at all) like you were bothering them. They updated my software on my truck the last time I was there, which changed my display, and when my wife brought my truck in recently for service and asked for them to reset it to the original display, they said said it cannot be done, and if she had a complaint, contact Ford Motor Company. No effort by Ford City to say let me look into it or ill find out and let you know, or let me take care of that for you while your here. I, later that night, ended up searching the fix on the internet and it was a one button fix. When my wife picked up the truck and drove it home, the hood wasnt latched and she had to pull over off the highway to shut it when she noticed it moving at 65 mph. I cannot wait for my warranty to run out so I have no excuse to visit Ford City anymore. I know people have bad days, but repeated visits with the same customer service tells me this is the way they are, and I have no use for it.

I was very disappointed with my experience at Ford City. I had my PCM and ignition coils replaced here. Driving the vehicle home from the dealership, my engine light came on and my vehicle was running poorly. I called Ford City and they told me it was because I needed new spark plugs and intake gaskets. They did not even offer to look at it to see, they automatically said it was because it needed those items which they had told me it would just because the PCM was bad. They said they had called the warranty company to see if it would cover the cost of these parts and labor and that it wouldnt. They told me it would cost $460, which I did not have at the time so I did not have them do it. Well, it seemed odd to me that they did not even offer to inspect their work after the engine light came on immediately after I got it from them. I called the warranty company to see if they would cover the plugs and intake gaskets myself. The warranty company said that they did cover the intake gaskets and labor, and that the dealership should not be trying to charge extra for the labor on the spark plugs since they are in the same place. Then, I took the vehicle to a different mechanic who discovered that the EGR control valve had been installed upside down...it is a part connected to the PCM. He said the spark plugs were fine and so were the gaskets. He put the part on the right way and my vehicle is running great. This place is really shady, beware.

Shady and Scandolous pretty much sums it up here. Took car in for oil change when they first bought out Ford of Champaign, they put some cheap aftermarket oil and filter on it, when I asked they said it was as good as factory, but I expect OEM factory recommended when I pay dealership prices. Then Had car in for recall, asked them not to do anything else to it. When I picked it up they handed me a book sized printout detailing many things that were wrong with my vehicle. Oil contaminated ( I had just changed it and the filter less than 100 miles before), Transmission fluid contaminated (had less than 10K since last flush and fill), engine clogged with oil sludge and needed flushing (its clean enough to eat from, removed oil filler cap to confirm and yep, still spotless), needed Brake Caliper service on all four wheels at $65 per wheel, brakes less than 20K on them, but this is not brake service, basically they want to lubricate the little rods that that pads slide on and charge you as much as completely new brakes would cost. Car started acting funny after I left dealership, hesitating and stalling, one week later Transmission gave out and had to completely replace it. Not saying they did anything to my car, just saying its pretty coincidental. They are dishonest, that is a fact.

While I have heard mixed reviews about Worden Martin from multiple people, I have had nothing but great service from them. I took my car in at one point because a friend of mine worked in their service department. I needed a new sensor on one wheel, and it was going to cost quite a bit of money. However, they were able to find the part on a wheel that had been removed from another vehicle (the wheel was no longer operable for some reason), and replaced my sensor for only the cost of labor. I later traded this car for a used car at Worden Martin. I dealt with Marty in the sales department, and he was wonderful to work with - no pressure, easy to get a hold of, knowledgable. It made the hassle of buying a car very easy! About 6 months later, I was having an issue with the shifter button in my car. I called them, they got me in right away, replaced my shifter for no charge (under warranty) and got me in and out very efficiently. They also offered me rides to and from work. I dealt with Chad on this issue, and he was very friendly and helpful.
