Im giving this store a one star because this store will use any excuse in the world to not service the products under their extended warranty. This happened in relation to my Lenovo laptop that I purchased open-boxed with the 1 year accidental damage warranty. The problem arise when I called this store because my laptop screen cracked and the screen inverter was shot. I forgot that I left my laptop on top of my car and drove off. I told the Geek Squad representative what happened and instantly he tells me that he cannot accept this laptop because of "amount of PSI" it when through far exceeds the limit they cover. This person even admitted that he used this excuse to deny other persons. Not taking in his bullshit, I asked him where in the terms and conditions does it state the maximum PSI limit a product can suffer and his response was to go online and read it myself. Not satisfied with his response, I requested for his manager and he lies me that his manager isnt in the store and I asked for his name and he refuses to give his name for "privacy reason". He even threaten to call the police when I told him I was coming over there and requesting for a manager myself because "he was fearful for his life". His finally BSing stopped when I told him that I had this conversation recorded after he initially denied me and that I was reporting this to corporate. After this sudden realization, he puts me on a brief hold and magically get a hold of his manager to get the "approval" to take it in and look at it. I asked him will I be able to get it repaired and he can make the guarantee. I wasnt convinced of his answer so I take to another Best Buy close to me and they took it with no resistance and lies and I actually got my laptop reimbursed because there were no parts to fix it. Long story short, avoid the Geek Squad in this store and look for another store. This store is okay to buy your electronics goods but has terrible IT support.

A few weeks ago my uncle passed away unexpectedly. I needed to notify other family members so I went to your store to ask for help with unlocking his phone. Im now aware that it cant be done without a factory reset; however, the service I experienced was HORRIBLE! I walked to the area and no one was around. I waited to be acknowledged by the Samsung Rep. He didnt acknowledge my presence for at least three minutes. I politely said "excuse me, are you available to help me?" He looked up at me and then looked back down and responded "yeah, whats up? What you want?" I explained my situation to him but he didnt respond. He didnt even bother to look up. At that time,I asked if there was another associate available to help me. I was still very polite. He responded "yeah, me. Im multitasking though." He asked me to repeat my request and I did. He told me that he couldnt help and wished me good luck. I asked for his name because I wanted to let customer service know how I was treated. He declined to give me his name because of "privacy and safety reasons." I went to Customer Service and he was identified as Kris. Mgmt stated that they would inform his supervisor, Cassandra, because he is not an employee of Best Buy but of Samsung. Ive tried calling the store to no avail to follow up but Im always told Cassandra is not available. Im upset because Ive never been treated that way at Best Buy. I dont think it was appropriate to greet, acknowledge and dismiss me in that manner.

Went in to buy a TV. Despite dropping $1500, the sales agent couldnt care less, absolutely zero enthusiasm and appeared almost resentful of my existence. He grew more unhappy when I wouldnt buy into a warranty plan. While trying (futilely) to find a way to get it in my car, several employees stood around and laughed at the predicament, offering no assistance. I admit, its funny, but at least pretend not to laugh while me and my girlfriend are standing right near you, fully aware of what youre doing. After giving up, I decided it wasnt worth paying $300+ on the price over Amazon when it would need to be shipped anyways, in addition to the terrible service I observed, and requested the transaction be voided or refunded. Another rep spent 3 minutes trying to think of a way to say no, but eventually conceded. Best Buy is simply not trying, nor is their staff. If Im going to make a big purchase, at least pretend to give good customer service. It comes as no surprise to me that theyre slowly going out of business with crap like this.

If I could give this store less than one star I would. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS LOCATION!!!!! I purchased a $1600 TV in store but because of the size, I could not take it home in my own car. The store offered home delivery and I accepted. The home delivery was involuntary rescheduled 4 separate times without my knowledge. The store offered no explanation, they just kept saying they would reschedule. Finally after two weeks a store lead informed me that for whatever reason, they had sold the television to another customer and had no more in stock, although I had already been charged for the purchase two weeks prior. I requested twice to speak to a general manager and waited on hold for 15 minutes with no answer. I called to just get my $1600 refunded and now they tell me their system is down and they will have to call me back. Please do not waste your time at this best buy location. They are unprofessional and extremely incompetent with no regard for there customers time. I still have not been refunded and do not have the tv.

LOL who breaks a windshield installing a car stereo? I think youre trying to get Best Buy to pay for your already broken windshield...but thats just my opinion. What do you expect from best buy, seriously? What do you expect from any store of this nature? They will all rip you off- the customer service is dismal and to top it all off the employees arent very knowledgeable except the geek squad maybe. Any person can be a geek squad tech...So from that take- I would say go in already knowing what you want, be prepared to actually look for it yourself (my gosh, I had no idea people were so lost) and go to the cash register and purchase said item like a smart consumer. The company isnt there to do all the work for you- so sorry to play the devils advocate. Its something called Google! Pretty much type in a question...pop comes an answer! Look at newegg and quit wasting time talking to someone who doesnt know more than you about computers/electronics.
