I was surprised to see all the good reviews... the best thing I can say about this place is that it was clean. One of the elderly women working there snipped at me just for asking if I could check a price on a necklace behind the roped off section that says you need an attendant. She raised her voice to shout, " You are NOT to go back there!" Yeah, I read the signs. You need someone to attend you. No need to snarl at me like a wild dog. "Ill be with you in just a minute" would have been a fine response. Anyway, why are they so scared of people stealing junky $4 necklaces? They lose more in sales having it roped off. And they just lost a lifelong customer.

Great store for arts & crafts (there is an entire room in the back). Stellar selection of books and Christmas items. They have regular sales where either most tops or bottoms will be $1. There is a "boutique" area where nicer clothing, formals and wedding dresses are sold. Downside is that many household and furniture items are highly priced. It is for a great cause though. Store is well lit and clean with plenty of parking. Hope Chest is one of my favorite stores to shop. Check hours before you go, they often close at 5pm.

IF YOU WORK THERE PLEASE READ! you are GREEDY! your stuff is donated! remember what you paid for stuff! look at what you do! furniture sale? except everything that anyone would want.. art sale? except anything anyone would want! you have wheelchairs and other items people NEED you wont give them discounts on. YOU ARE GREEDY! DO NO DONATE TO THEM UNTIL THEY GET THEY GET THEIR HEAD OUT OF THE BACK SIDE! go there. look at prices.. full time employees.. not so much your "non profit" check yourself

Contrary to what some think, i think this was a great place if your in the right place at the right time. I find most items are reasonably priced (however i do find some things overpriced, which i usually tell the workers) but youll find some cool stuff here. I found a smith corona 210 typewriter for $10. So, i think visiting during the morning is best as all the good stuff isnt taken yet.

The selection in the store was amazing! This thrift store is a large as a grocery store and has some great furniture deals. I had the opportunity to meet the manager and she was one of the nicest and most helpful people I have met in a long time. She took the time to help me find exactly what I was looking for. This is a not to be missed shopping stop.

I love this place!!!!! The prices can get crazy for furniture but what they have done with the place is amazing! The volunteers are always sweet and its always fun to roam around, I can get lost in the book room forever!!! The remodeling they did with moving the clothes makes it look even bigger! Go and kill some time, you may find a gem!

I shop here all the time. Hospice is my go to charity. Those people are saints. There are many treasurers to be found here. I find the prices are hit or miss. Sometimes they are fair even cheap but somethings are way over priced. Also this is a great store if you are looking for arts and crafts stuff or used sewing machines.

For this store to be a resale store, the prices were ridiculously to high for resale items. You could purchase new items for less at other stores. Most of the people I saw walking out as I was going in, had made no purchases. When I looked at the prices I knew why people were leaving empty handed including me.

I agree with the other posts the prices are what you would pay for retail for many of the items but they are trying to raise funds for hospice. Seems like they could clear the shelves if they lowered the prices to a reasonable price for the item. Large selection of used furniture.

I have been to this store several times. They always have some sort of sale, lots of clothes, a huge amount of furniture, a special sections with crafts and holiday decor, books, household items, and a boutique section. I always find something for a very good price. I will be back.

Quite simply the highest priced thrift store in the history of the world. Whoever prices their furniture has taken a leave of their senses as you can buy new retail for less. I totally get that your donating to a good cause, but at least let me feel like I got a decent deal.

Huge building, lots of selection. However, we were looking for a single bedroom dresser and all of their bedroom accessories were only sold in large sets. We were told to go elsewhere even though we found something we wouldve purchased had it not been in a set.

I felt the furniture was a little over priced. It had scratches and too many chips for what they were asking. The new furniture store down the way was cheaper. They did have it presented well. I loved the well dressed manikin on the sofa, very classy!

They have a lot of good merchandise here but the PRICES ARE OUTRAGEOUS. An item that only costs a $1 somewhere else cost me $10 here. I know they read these reviews. Enough people have complained about this same issue. Lower the prices.

decent selection but everything is 300%-400% what youd expect to pay. furniture is priced below retail but every little nicknack, jar, box, bag, briefcase, toy is crazy overpriced. save time and your wallet, dont bother stopping in.

My experience has been that the store has very low prices. This not meant to be a give away store but one that generates some income for Hope Hospice. People who think their prices are high should try shopping at retail stores.

They dont have a very good selection and the prices are a bit high. The workers are all older volunteers and when its close to closing time, 20 - 30 minutes, they ask you to leave which seemed a bit rude.

I was surprised by the amount of furniture this place can hold. Sectionals galore. Great place to find pre-owned quality furniture that could be slipcovered and loved again or anything for your home.

Ive been in here several times looking for a bargain. Yes, good selection, but the prices are what I would pay for new on the items Ive been searching for. Ill continue to support Habitats Re-Store.

A great place! Weve purchased main items of furniture at Hope Chest for our Florida home, good quality items at far lower prices than anywhere else! A real treat to shop there!

Always enjoy coming here...would prefer that clothing is consistently placed according to size. Would have rated it 5 star but too often find various sizes all together.

My favorite local thrift destination. Four times the size of most other stores. Furniture is premium but price will match. Selection is massive and always rotating.
