I own a similar store (Nowells Contemporary Furniture) in Cary, North Carolina, and recently worked with Judy of Denmark Interiors on a delivery issue. Their customer needed a bedroom group that was sold out and would not be available again for a number of weeks. They went the extra mile, contacted their rep and then other dealers that carried the same group. Turns out we had what they needed to take care of their customers needs, and arranged to ship the peices to them. Tracking down these things, and paying the extra costs of shipping (and NOT passing these extra costs on to the customer, by the way) is rare in our industry. This is the sort of thing that most people in Judys position would not have done. They would have tried to push the customer toward another choice, but she sent the extra mile to get them what they wanted. Denmark Interiors does it right. If in the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill area of NC, wed love to help you at our store; if in the Fort Myers area, you really cant go wrong with Denmark Interiors. Highly reccomended.

Scan Design used to sell very high quality, solid wood furniture. I visited a few days ago looking for a new bed and was severely disappointed with the quality. Most drawer boxes are butt joints vs dove tail and there is almost exclusive use of veneer only. They have a couple of quality pieces, but thats now the exception instead of the rule. The look is very modern and stylish and most of the pieces are very aesthetically appealing. But the quality for the price is very disappointing.
