on July 27 My Wife and I bought a king size platform bed a king size mattress and a 2 pc sectional we spent $2000.00 and they said delivery would be $130.00 cash paid to driver when they delivered it that afternoon so we agreed . later that day they showed up unloaded everything only to find that 1 seat cushion was missing from the sectional, the driver assured me that he would deliver it tomorrow on the 28th , I waited until 5:00 pm and he did not show up so I called Victor at the Lakeland facility to find out what was going on he said driver told him I would pick it up myself I told him that was not true driver was suppose to bring it , so Victor said must be a misunderstanding I dont see how when my wife and I both heard driver say same thing. So now Victor says the delivery guys will be in Orlando so they can not deliver it the next day he would have to check and call me back to see when they can bring it, now here it is the 29th and no call as to when i am getting what we paid for. My Wife and I have only 1 car and she works most the time starting at 12:00 noon so there is no way for me to go there and we Have our daughter her husband and the grand kids coming from up north tomorrow to stay with us for a week. at this point my Wife and I would suggest buyer beware unless you can haul what you buy. We had to post 1 star in order to get the post button otherwise we would not give that. As for American Freight we need that cushion or take back the 2 pc sectional and refund us. Update---missing seat cushion was delivered Today 7/30/16 after posting this review , My Wife and I Thankyou

Ordered a couch that wasnt in stock. The guy says they can get it, but wed need to pay up front in full and it could take up to 30 days. Ok, no problem. 30 days later, still no couch. When we called and finally got an answer back, it was "um, yeah the manufacturer is backed up and said they cant make that right now". Wait, what? I thought thats what we paid for. So if there are that many orders in line in front of ours, they must have known about this when the order was placed. So basically they decided to take 900 bucks without actually knowing they could get the thing and yet nobody contacted us after a few days, a week, even two weeks to tell us it wasnt going to happen. Instead, we find out on the delivery day. Guess were looking for a couch... Again. Cant blame the guy (Josh) as he tried to cut us a deal on another couch, but it wasnt really similar and not what we wanted. Seems like a policy needs to change between the store and manufacturer. 0/10 Would leave my money in the bank next time. Edit: They did make it up to us by upgrading us to another couch, upgraded to 3 stars.

My wife and daughter and I walked into there warehouse store was met by the store mgr Josh. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. We were looking to purchase a mattress. After Josh showed us a few different types we choose the 3000 model price was great with the money we saved we bought a oversized chair and tables and lamps for our living room. I asked Josh when they could be delivered because it was 12:30 pm he said today late afternoon and his delivery guys called me at 5:30 and were 20 minutes away. The 2 guys showed up with our things very friendly and fast set up the chair took away all the Packing material. I recommend this company and sales team great people great prices. Thanks Josh for all your help

I purchased a platform bed and mattress and just had it delivered. By the way.... you pay a separate company to do delivery, American Freight doesnt deliver. BE AWARE... They do not set it up. The platform bed is in boxes and I have to put it all together. I am a 61 year old tiny woman taking care of an aging Mother and a husband dying of cancer. I called so angry. No one told me about set up being my responsibility. I should have been prepared at the point of sale. I have never purchased furniture before where I had to put it together myself. This is ridiculous. I am very sorry I made the purchase and I will not do business with this company again.

American Freights prices and staff in Lakeland are amazing! Theyve been so helpful and flexible while weve been in transition to move. Weve had to change our dates several times and made some modifications to our orders a few times since we selected the furniture we wanted. I loved the fact that we could put our furniture on layaway as we couldnt use a credit card prior to closing our house. AJ was very helpful and patient with helping me handle certain transactions over the phone as well as being a great salesman without being pushy!! Thanks so much for all youve done! I will not recommend them to anyone...I purchased a full bed set with the mattress and I didnt receive the night stand not to mention I was told that my delivery price was 55 dollars only for them to get to my home and refuse to give me anything unless I paid 85 dollars. I called back only to be told that I could re purchase the night stand and that they thought I lived in lakeland. I was not happy with their services and I still am not. I would never use them again!

I visited the Lakeland Store and I was approached by a young lady. She started showing me the different furniture sets.She then left said she would return never did.I look around and see her helping someone one else.So I see a young man and he say we busy I say she was helping me. He said theres nothing I can do.So I left without any thing. I was going to purchase some items but now I wont return

My daughter and i bought a table and paid to have it delivered. They show up hours late and wanted to drop off in the box for two ladies to put together at 11 pm with no tools. We had to pay more to get table and chairs put together. I will never go back. This is outrageous.

Great prices and quality merchandise! With same day delivery. I purchased a table and had to put it together but it was flawless and very heavy duty. They will even haul your old stuff away for a small price.
