I went in with my husband and daughter to pick up a jacket. After finding one that I liked and deciding to have it ordered in a different color, the sales girl was more interested in flirting with my husband ( in front of our six year old) than helping me. She suckered him into ordering some boots. Once we both got to the register to fill out order slips, she ignored both of us to have a personal conversation with someone else. As a female shopper, it was the only time that I have stood at a cash register with credit card in hand and been bored. After about 10 minutes of waiting she told us we were done. (Would have been nice to know earlier.) After a week with no phone call, I gave up on the shop. When my husbands boots arrived she called him and told him that they were there. Apparently, she was on vacation then working at another store which is why my jacket didnt get ordered. Funny how she called him and not me when I gave her my cell number on the order slip. If you want quality service go to hoj, jax power sports, or beach blvd motorsports. The selection is better, staff is professional, and they actually order your stuff.

took a set of rims and tires to have them installed on sunday afternoon. was called a few hrs later being told they didnt have the tube i needed for my front tire and would need to order it so i had to make 2 trips up there to have the item ordered. late wed afternoon i called to check and see if the tube came in and if my tires were ready only to be told the tube came in early this morning and they havent had time to put it on. been almost 4 days waiting for a single tube to be installed for a bike that is my daily driver. i shouldnt have to chase them down to get them to do there jobs!! was told that they couldnt get to them on wed bc the were busy with "customers" WHAT DO YOU THINK I AM?! they have had all day to do something that takes less then 30min, highly recommend taking your business else where.

My initial impression was not very good. I went in to get my very first set of motorcycle gear (helmet, jacket, boots, and gloves). The staff showed no interest in my needs or concerns. I finally got a staff member to help me figure out what size helmet I need, though he didnt seem to have any interest in my questions, almost as if I was asking stupid questions. Hello! Its my first helmet! He spent all of 2 minutes with me. They had to order in my choice. When I went to go pick it up, I had a much different experience. There were a couple of older gentlemen working the counter, and they were much more courteous, and helped me with my new helmet. Too bad they werent the ones to help me in the first place! Otherwise, this would be a 5 star review.

I dropped off a rim and tire to be mounted and balanced on Thursday at lunch. The sales rep said it would be ready Friday morning. I went to pick it up Friday at lunch. Not done. They said come by that evening and it will be ready. When I went back that evening to pick it up I realized that they installed a metal valve stem (when I asked for a rubber one) and had to put about a pound of lead on the rim to balance it because of the bulky metal valve stem that I DID NOT ask for. The staff at this store is incapable of doing what you ask (order) and being done with it when they promise. Bottom line -this might be a good place to buy some cheap gloves but you should expect poor customer service and go anywhere but here to have a tire mounted!

The selection of womens gear was pretty sad, but the customer service was worse. We were not greeted by a single employee when we entered, and not long after we got there, they all disappeared into the back of the store. My husband and I wandered around and found a couple things we wanted and then waited way too long to see if anyone would come to the front to be our cashier. I had to go walk to their "employees only" door and ask for someone to come help us. They were all sitting back there talking and not doing any actual work. When our cashier was finally (though grudgingly) helping us, he sure didnt make any efforts to improve our service experience. I left with a sour taste in my mouth and do not plan to go back.

I walked in for some knowledge and some help for gear ideas for my first bike. Valerio came up immediately and helped me out. Even though I wasnt able to buy anything this trip, and he knew it, Valerio still helped me out on everything I had a question on and didnt just shut me down. I told him requirements I needed for gear, what gear i was planning on purchasing, and what manufacturers I was researching. He showed me whats what by pulling out the catalogue and pricing sheet and went to work on schooling me. Great service is all I ask for and I got it. If your a noob like me and you just wanna get a feel for the gear you will buy, go here. The selection is great and the help honest.

I dont usually write reviews till Ive encountered a business several times. I have been riding over 3 years and just moved to FL. I went to this location and saw you only get attention when you look like you are going to spend thousands. The store manager Larry has told me point blank before, "I like working with military people because I know how much they make and I can sell them anything." Thats a horrible mentality to have. I much rather support local motorcycle shops like Jacksonville Power Sports who have better deals and are eager to help and drop knowledge on you. Unlike cycle gear who aims to belittle peoples intelligence and make the experience horrible.

Shortly after I bought my first (used) bike I went there you get a new battery as mine was dead. Yes Im new, yes I could have done more research but the dude sold me this "amazing" 200 dollar battery i had to install myself. Almost 2 years later after my bike sat for 7 month that battery was dead. I had Adamec change it. 87 bucks, no labor. Why did I get free labor you ask? They ordered the battery from cycle gear because they dont do the Honda thing and they sent them the wrong one TWICE so it took almost 2 weeks to get that done... Yes I still go there from time to time but staff sucks and they are crooks...

Went to the one off beach. Great experience shopping for a helmet and jacket. Ask for Frankie, he is the one who helped me. Very knowledgeable and friendly guy, a bit of a salesman, but got me what i was looking for at an excellent price. I also went to the orange park location. Ask for Hutch, he had good customer service and also helped me find a decent helmet. Only negative was the helmet selection, it was eithier Shoei or Bilt and colors only ranged from black to typical crotch rocket designs, nothing really interesting.
