Please use the Internet and VTXOA to get your Honda VTX parts. DO NO SHOP HERE! Im spoiled by Harley Davidson Parts Departments. I have read all the poor customer service posts here, but, having a 2003 VTX 1300 "back up bike" required me to visit Honda of Jacksonville for some repair parts. I visited the Parts Department on 1/16/10 and purchased Honda Antifreeze, an oil filter and a required washer that gets replaced when the anti-freeze is flushed and replaced. I live 30 miles from the shop. The washer was not in stock. How can the shop not stock the required repair parts for the most common, most popular bike in the entire Honda inventory? I was charged $3.66 for the washer and $8.00 for the shop to mail me the washer. This is a dime size washer, that weighs 1/3rd what a dime weighs. ($8.00?) After 14 days, and no washer, I called the Parts Department on 1/29/2010 and asked about my order. The Parts guy said, "Its right here. Been here. We must have not called you." I asked him to review the order, and the Mail Out request I paid $8.00 for. He said I could drive to the shop and get the part if I wanted. (60 miles round trip) or he would drop it in the mail. (Another three to four day delay) I did not ask how long it had sat in the Parts Department. Please read Customer Reviews before giving busineses your hard earned dollars. With the Poor Reviews the store received, I thought I could cruise under the radar and just get my parts here and do the work myself. I surely would not let them touch my bike! Use the Internet and get your parts in the mail. Very poor follow up and very poor business practices. Did I mention they charged me $8.00 to mail a dime sized washer! STAY AWAY!

Do not trust the service department! I very rarely write reviews online, and I almost never leave bad reviews because I believe many bad reviews are written by people with unreasonable expectations. HOWEVER, I felt the need to leave this review in hopes of saving an unsuspecting customer from being scammed. I recently brought my 2003 Rincon in to have an oil change and the alignment adjusted. After trying several times to talk me into a complete inspection (~$380), I told Duncan that I only wanted the oil changed and the alignment adjusted. I received a phone call from Duncan later that day with a quote of $3000 to fix the alignment. He stated that the bushings were shot but, since theyre pressed in, the entire suspension needed to be replaced. He then tried to sell me what he called a "comparable replacement ATV" for $12,000. I declined both and, when I went to pick up my Rincon, I noticed a new Rincon exactly like mine (other than the color) for $9,000. After about 10 minutes online, I was able to find a bushing kit for under $200. I adjusted the tie rods myself within 15 minutes, and now it steers and runs great. How is it that a non-mechanic knows more in 15 minutes than the Honda Tech at a well-known dealership? Either Duncan doesnt know anything, or he lies to inflate the cost of service and then quotes the price of a top-of-the-line ATV to help persuade the customer to authorize the service. I HIGHLY recommend doing your research on what you need before letting this service department perform any maintenance beyond an oil change. With that being said, the salesman I spoke with about the new Rincon was nice and seemed very upfront.

Ok so first off Id like to acknowledge that this whole situation was completely my fault. With that being said... I decided to ride my bike to work (I live in Yulee and work in Mandrin). As Im going to leave work my buddy points out my wires are showing on both my rear and front tire. (I should have replaced them a while ago but here we are 46 miles from home with wires showing 5:30pm). I called everywhere. When I called cycles of jax even when the guy answered the phone he was just very friendly and nice. When I gave him the embarrassingly sad sob story of how I didnt feel safe driving my bike him he went to his manager explained what was going on they found a tech that was willing to stay late and said they would take care of me. I wound up getting there at 6:15 (15 min after they close). EVERYONE was very nice friendly and understanding. Plus they had a Daytona 675R I could drool over while I was waiting. They were very fast (probably because they wanted to go home I get it) and I love these new tires! THANK YOU FOR GETTING ME HOME! THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE I WILL GO!

Purchasing a bike through Cycles of Jacksonville was an AWSOME experience. Quality and professionalism of the employees was top notch. The shop was well maintained and the service department was well organized. It was AWSOME to have had Cristian as our sales representative. His honesty, integrity and loyalty is second to none, he is genuine and sincere. There was no doubt, after initially speaking with Chistian on the phone, Cycles of Jacksonville was the right place for us to purchase my sons first Bike. A+ for service, honesty integrity and loyalty. We were so pleased with the Cycles of Jacksonville family, that we will be purchasing two more bikes from them Very shortly. If your a motorcycle enthusiast, check out Cycles of Jacksonville FIRST , so you too can experience first hand the great services the Cyccles of Jacksonville family can provide you. This places labor rates are about $130/hour which is double anywhere else I have been. A simple oil change on a honda Silverwing was $180. !! They said they did a 4K service which consisted of checking things but I doubt it becaue they were done in 1 hour. The one thing I did want them to check out was a chirping sound which I suspected was the belt drive system. They said they didnt hear it and as I pulled away I heard it loud and clear. I guess that means another trip but it wont be to this place. Other things worth mentioning is that they have no prices on their bikes so your forced to ask the sales people for the price of everything and of course they dont know and have to look it up. Dont expect anything to be discounted, top dollar is what you will pay. Dont even think about going to this place. You will have to go to Orlando or Tampa to get real service and prices. Ironically there wasnt hardly a person in the place. Imagine that.

I recently purchased a motorcycle from Honda of Jax and it was a fabulous experience. It is rare that a company has employees that work so well together to make the buying experience as smooth and pleasant as they did. Nate, the Sales Manager, made sure that I got the best price possible and I know this because I shopped the other dealers from St. Augustine to Brunswick and none of them were willing to work with me on pricing. I took the bike back in for service and the Service Manager Jack was great too. He made sure that his staff took care of me in a timely manner and he went above and beyond by even washing my bike so that I was ready to ride! Overall, as a female rider, I will make Honda of Jax the only store I shop in because of their staff, pricing and service.
