Very friendly and accommodating staff when you buy a phone. Very different when you try to return it. I bought a phone for my husband for Christmas but it wasnt one he wanted. He tried to return it after holidays but couldnt since my name is first on the account. I go back in a couple of days and they wouldnt take it .The box never been open,phone never been activated. they say it has been more then 15 days. So there is a tip for those of you that buy gifts more than a week in advance. Hope they like it or you just waisted a lot of money. Another thing they forget to mention that even if you bring it back within a grace period it still cost you $35 reclining fee. Thank you, corporate America!

I went there to do a simple thing and that was to add a line to my plan. I needed a phone ASAP but Instead It took me over three (3) trips to the store just to get a different "policy" from different employees. No one knew what their actual policy was including the store manager Rich. Instead of helping us we got nothing but attitude from him. He needs to do his damn job training his employees and learning how to talk to customers. After 4 days and going in circles I finally went a Best Buy mobile and within 15 min I was out of there with a phone. If I was not under contract right now I would have canceled this people and went with Verizon. By far they have the best customer service.

While I rarely relish needing to go to an AT&T store, this one takes the cake for terrible service and employees. While saying they lied to me about my phone and account maybe a little strong, they stretched the truth to its breaking point. About the best thing I can say about most of the locations employees I’ve dealt with is that they are disinterested in AT&T customers. The location manager is at least willing to hear out complaints, but unhelpful in actually correcting issues. In short, if you’re an AT&T customer in Washington DC find a different location to go to.

Absolutely appalling. Customer representative sold me a plan that didnt include what he said it did (GoPhone prepaid, apparently impossible to include data). Attempted refund of the charge took more than an hour, with in-store rep on hold with AT&Ts own corporate office. Walked out at that point for lack of time or patience to continue the process. Dont understand their own product suite; and dont have delegated authority to fix problems. Why does a physical shopfront even exist?

I had gone in to get one prepaid sim, knowing exactly which package I wanted. I had to wait half an hour for a sales rep to be available because for some reason the manager wouldnt just do it himself. Previous time, it was a lady who did it herself. This time, the gentleman asked twice what I needed but made no effort to help save time that was absolutely needlessly spent waiting. However, Shane who helped me was really apologetic and a great guy - so one star is just for him!

So I always go here to pay bill and ask questions about plans etc. and usually everyones nice and friendly but this time when I went 9-16-06. The att rep was horrible! I explained I wanted to look at making changes to plan and wasnt giving any suggestions just you cant do this you cant do that. And she didnt even bother to look up my acct. very disappointed! Not going back to that location.

Came in last night right before closing with my old, unlocked Verizon phone with what I thought would be a simple SIM card fix. 2 hours later and multiple tech support calls only to determine the phone was a brick, and they got me up and running on a new iPhone right then and there. Awesome service all around. Thank you for the A+ help.

The first time, when you come into the shop, the staff is very friendly, because they want to trick you. They are telling consciously the untruth, and they are making wrong promises. Many of them are extreme unqualified. Misinformation is part of their system. Don’t trust them! Steer clear of this shop!

Very good experience with sales associate, Joseph after nearly going to Chinatown rather than the closer location, after reading ratings below. He was knowledgable and very helpful, even offering to help my set up blue tooth between my car and the iphone.
