The women who helped me with my wedding dress were very nice, and at first I was incredibly happy with Stylish Impressions! They were very attentive and helpful, and even kept the store open a half hour later so that my MOH could make it to the store and give me her opinion! Very thoughtful! Diane did my measurements (at no charge! - again, very kind!), and we put the order for my wedding dress in. I then went back a few weeks later with my four bridesmaids to pick their dresses. We didnt receive any help this time around aside from the girls all being measured at the end, but it was very busy so I did not take it personally. I was still very pleased with the selection and thought the shop to be very charming. Then the bridesmaid dresses came in. My MOHs dress was WAY too small, and the woman actually said to her, "You must have gained weight." In actuality, she had lost eleven pounds, and had been anticipating needing to take it in. So they measured her wrong in the first place, and then were rude on top of it. She was nearly in tears. They cut the dress up the seam to see if theyd be able to do anything with it, but the fabric wasnt having it. They didnt offer any type of refund, but they said we could purchase a sample dress if there was one that would work. We had to purchase for her one of the sample dresses, which was an entirely different style, different color, and had the word "sample" sewn into side. Thank goodness Yvette is so marvelous - she did the alterations on all of our dresses and even got the "sample" almost completely out of the sample dress! Because that ended up working out, I wasnt upset about it for long. There are bigger things to worry about than the bridesmaids dresses all matching, afterall! And Im sure the woman didnt mean to insult my MOH - but she definitely did, and there were no apologies for the dress being the wrong size. Heres the biggie - my wedding dress came in, and THAT was the wrong size too!! I needed to get a size 2, but Im also on the taller side, and they did not take that into account when they took my measurements and placed the order. I was measured in two inch heels, so I dont see how they could have got it wrong. The style of the dress was such that fabric could not be added on without looking out of place, and in the end I couldnt wear my beautiful wedding shoes. I wore the only plain white flats I could find at short notice, and the dress still hovered a little off the ground. Again, it didnt ruin the day. The dress was lovely, and Yvette did a great job with all the alterations. A girls wedding shoes are special, and it would have been lovely to be able to wear them - but in the end the day was perfect. My recommendation is not to rule this store out - the selection is good and the ladies are very nice....just go knowing your measurements, and maybe see if you can talk to Yvette about the dresses you are thinking of before you order. She knows her stuff and you can trust her judgment!

If you want a dress that fits, take your business elsewhere! The sales associate that helped my sister (the bride) and I find bridesmaids dresses was very nice, however the owner Diane is extremely unhelpful and unprofessional. Diane did my measurements the day we ordered and I asked for extra length to be added to my dress (Im 5/8 barefoot), she told me "unless youre wearing 5 inch heels you dont need it". Well lo and behold the dress comes in, not only is it 2 inches too short, its two sizes too small! I took it a bridal shop that I trust to fix the mistake (since I live out of state). I tried calling Diane for weeks after explaining to another sales associate the situation, she avoided my calls. When I finally did get in touch with Diane, she insisted that I put on weight since the time my measurements were taken. I sent her an itemized bill from the dress shop since I needed to rush order yards of fabric to reconstruct the back of the dress in order for it to fit me correctly. I wasnt asking for a refund on the dress (even though it was unwearable), instead I wanted her to cover the cost of the fabric and labor since I couldnt get in touch with her to have the work done at her shop in CT. Diane did contact the bridal shop I was working with to fix the dress, and who I have used for months, in which they explained I have not put on weight and there is no way my measurements are as she said they were (she measured me 5 inches smaller than I am) I called Diane for weeks and she would never return my call or Id get a hold of her and she would ask to call me back later in the day, which she never did. Two weeks after my sisters wedding (and about two months of trying to get a definitive answer from her), I called again and Diane finally contacted me saying that she will not be refunding my money. She is continuing to insist I must have put on weight which I havent. I asked her, since I realized she wouldnt be refunding me for the extra material, to admit the possibility she made a mistake and she refused, placing all the blame on me, saying she NEVER makes mistakes in measuring. Just terrible terrible service!

These people are unprofessional and the owner is incredibly rude to her customers. You would think when someone has bought 8 bridesmaides dresses at $250 each and prob a couple others the owner would appreciate your business or atleased try to have regard for the fact that my friends wedding is a WEDDING and not a party. She seems to not care at all about her customers satisfaction or the fact that a wedding is a special event. She takes no responsibility. This lady needs to sell the business she obv doesnt have love for it. She stressed out my friend so much when she should be enjoying this time and feeling special. She obv only cares about her profits. If u want to have a smooth satisfactory experience especially if it is your wedding do not go here or bring these people business they dont deserve it. Each bridesmaide had a different problem with the owner or someone they dealt with including myself. I am now pregnant and my dress doesnt fit not their fault but im not familiar w any of the other bridesmaids and all I was trying to get done was have it altered. She discussed my prob w a whole other bridesmaid I hadnt even met by saying i didnt get her pregnant. A total unrelated problem that she was having w that bridesmaid that I dont know but that she felt the need to bring me and my situation up to. How unproffessional is that! They also told me the dresses would be there on a Monday I came in the following day a Tuesday and the dresses had not come in. They had ample time to call me to tell me they did not arrive and saved me the drive. They are just unproffesional at that place. Go elsewhere! I would never use Stylish impressions for my own wedding and I know my friend wishes she had not either. Too bad she couldve made alot more money from all the people involved in this wedding now she will not be getting any of our future business. In the long run the owner screwed herself. She couldve been a little more sympathetic but she didnt care at all to loose business w her bad customer service so idk how she is in business. Btw I read a ton of bad reviews from this place too. Wish we had known prior.
