I had a terrible experience with both dresses ordered through Paradise Bridal. If I could give this 0 stars, I would. First, my mother’s Mother-of-the-Bride dress was lost during shipping. When I called to inquire about the status of the dress, I was told it would arrive in two weeks. When I called back three weeks later, they informed me that they had no idea where the dress was. Paradise Bridal had no shipment tracking information and could only tell me that the dress was lost in China. During this mishap, we experienced unreturned phone calls and when they promised to call us, they did not. When the dress finally arrived, it was several sizes too small. Paradise Bridal measured my mom again and the original measurements were off by over 3.5” around her waist. From the time of her initial measurements to the fitting, my mom had not gained any weight. In fact, she lost a significant amount of weight. Paradise Bridal insisted that their measurements are always correct, implying that my mom had gained 3.5” around her waist, a substantial weight gain. Paradise Bridal said they would order another dress in a larger size. However, with two weeks till the wedding, we haven’t received any further contact from Paradise Bridal and we’re still waiting for that dress to arrive. My sister’s Maid-of-Honor dress was altered so poorly that we’re now taking it to another seamstress to fix what was done. The new seamstress has to completely reconstruct the dress because it was so poorly altered by Paradise Bridal. When we arrived for her second fitting at Paradise Bridal they kept us waiting for over an hour. When I inquired about the delay, they told me they were still sewing her dress. In the month between her fittings, the alterations had not been made. Given the amount of money we spent, I am extremely unhappy with the quality, customer service and lack of communication I received at Paradise Bridal. Dealing with Paradise Bridal has been, without a doubt, the most stressful part of my wedding planning. I regret stepping foot into this shop. I will never return to this bridal salon and advise other brides to search for another salon that can provide better service.

DO NOT GO HERE!! Sales women are lovely but once youre dealing with the back of the store they dont want to be bothered. I got married at 7 months pregnant and when I went to choose my gown before I was showing, they recommended getting a size 16 because they didnt know how much I would grow. Im 58 and 122 lbs pre pregnancy so this seemed enormous but they are the professionals so I took their advice. They used clamps to show me how it would fit and said all the extra material would be gone. I went in for fittings weekly x 3 before the wedding as they recommended putting it off due to the pregnancy. The week before the wedding I expressed concern to the manager Donna that I felt by putting off the final alteration to 4 days before the wedding didnt leave much time if something wasnt right. I was told it would be fine and sent on my way. Well what do you know, after final alteration there was still a ton of material that made it look like I was wearing a hefty garbage bag. It was now the Friday before my Sunday wedding. I was told there wasnt enough time to alter the dress the way I wanted and it would cost a lot of time and money to take the extra material out, confirming the fear I had the entire 3 weeks before the wedding date. I couldnt wear this dress and they couldnt alter it appropriately so I was stuck buying a SECOND DRESS less than 48 hours before my wedding. They also lost the veil i paid for in full so I had to choose one off the floor that was pretty beat up but was the only one that matched the new dress. I hated the idea of giving them more business but I wanted to feel as pretty as I could on my wedding day , especially being 7 months pregnant. Fortunately, Donna was helpful in assisting me with picking a new dress off the clearance rack(which ended up being a size 10, no where near a 16!) and having it altered on the spot , of course at a cost. I should have read the Google reviews before going here. I went with a friend to Davids Bridal for their wedding gown and the experience was SO much better, Id highly recommend going there before Paradise.

The consultants were very nice and very helpful. One of the consultants helped me to find absolutely stunning bridesmaids dresses that I absolutely loved!!!!! I wish I could have similar feelings towards the alterations department. First of all, the dresses came in wrong, and had to get sent back. By the time the right dresses came in, they were about 3 or 4 weeks late, leaving us little time for fittings. When I went to schedule fittings, I was told that they only schedule fittings for bridesmaids on Tuesdays, Thursdays, every second saturday of the month. Wish someone would have told me that in the beginning. Then, 2 of my girls came in for their scheduled fittings, waited for 45 minutes, and were sent home because the seamstresses hadnt even started the work on their dresses. Later that day, I came in with one of my girls, they made her wait for 30 minutes, because they had only begun working on her dress since we had walked in the door. Thats what they told us anyway, but they pinned the dress in the exact same spots that they did last time, and they didnt even sew the cups in from the last appointment. They had to find the cups again after they lost them. They then gave her a hard time because she couldnt make it to the place on a tuesday or thursday and asked to be fitted on a wednesday. The lady was annoyed and was saying things like "look, im trying to squeeze you in,..." We were there until well after closing. This took place 10 days before my wedding. Six days before my wedding, the seamstresses gave my 14 year old cousin a hard time because they had to tighten her dress again, accusing her of losing weight. She had to schedule yet another fitting. I wouldnt be so annoyed if they had said "im sorry" at least once, or had taken responsibility for something, but i didnt get that from anyone at Paradise Bridal and their were a lot of mistakes. If I had to do this all over again, I would have still ordered the dresses, but I would have taken the dresses somewhere else to get altered.

Do yourself a huge favor and do not shop at Paradise Bridal. I ordered my wedding dress 11 months before my wedding. I was told it was going to be in the end of August. When the end of August rolled around I called and no one knew where my dress was. I kept calling into the middle of September and received non specific answers and deferred to different people. My dress came in 1 month before my wedding. When I called for my fitting, they told me they were completely booked and they couldnt fit me in. Finally at my first fitting I saw that my dress was too long despite the fact that I paid to have the dress cut at the manufacturer. The staff was extremely short with me and made it seem like I needed to hurry up because they had other appointments. Because of all their scheduling conflicts, I was not fit in to have my 2nd fitting until 6 days before my wedding (sorry I couldnt make their 11am appointments during the week...most people work). The top of the dress was done but the length still needed to be worked on. I went for my 3rd fitting 4 days before my wedding. The dress looked ok. It needed to be pressed but they would not let me wait for it to take it home. They made me make another appointment for the day before my wedding to pick it up. I was told the dress would be ready at 12. I got a call 12:15 that day to say the steamer is running late and my dress was not done. I was already in the car and on my way to pick up the dress. I waited in the waiting room for 45 minutes for my dress. While I was waiting I met a bride who was there to pick up her dress and she found a huge hole in her dress, and a bride that had her dress ordered too small. The worst part is that no one apologized or acted like anything was wrong with how they handled business. The manager Donna was very quick to sell me the dress, but very rude when handling other matters. On my wedding day, all 3 buttons sown for the bustle fell off half way through the wedding. Save yourself the stress and do not use Paradise Bridal.
