Let me start by saying Bridal Suite of Centereach was my last stop on the journey to finding my dream wedding gown. I tried on a size 14 sample which was clearly way too big. The attendants suggested I order a 12.We went back & forth on the size. I wanted a 6 or 8. They INSISTED on the 12. So I trusted them.(I am 5 feet tall & 114 pounds) When my dress arrived- I was absolutely drowning in it. There was at least 4 inches of extra fabric at my waist, bust and hips. This upset me and when I brought up the sizing of the dress along with the concern of how much my alterations will cost me- I was told “You must have lost weight”. It wasn’t until my fitting a month before my wedding that the seamstresses made mention that my dress was very big. They measured me one last time- and to their surprise my measurements had not changed at all.Someone FINALLY admitted that my dress was ordered incorrectly.When I spoke to management I was only given a run around explanation of the current cost of alterations and that I wouldn’t be charged anything additional.They just kept giving me the run around and basically saying they would do nothing to help me out with my alterations cost regardless of the fact that Bridal Suite made an error. After getting nowhere with management – I asked to speak to the owner John, who I had met and dealt with while ordering my bridesmaids gowns. I left a few messages for John. Over the Course of 4 weeks I received phone calls from management & other employees relaying messages from John. Then I was told they would order me a new dress a week before my final fitting in a smaller size to make up for the cost of alterations? At this point I was not willing to put my trust in them ordering and fitting an entirely new dress 2 weeks before my wedding. It made no sense. They were not accommodating me- I needed to speak to the Owner. I went for 3 Fittings 2 weeks before my wedding for the dress to finally fit me correctly. When I would come in for those fittings and ask for the Owner John, he was never there. I was told he’s very hard to get a hold of. He was very easy to get a hold of when I was placing orders for 5 bridesmaids’ dresses and a bridal gown? The man totally avoided me for over a month. My father had to stop by 3 days before my wedding and ask for John to settle this issue. He was told that John was not there. When my father said “Well I am not leaving until I speak with John”- John suddenly appeared from the back of the building. I would say that’s an Interesting coincidence. In the end Bridal Suite delivered my gown with alterations at a discounted price. But I would be more grateful had I been given the customer service and courtesy to begin with to avoid the nightmare this place put me through. This place will order your dress too big & try to make you pay for their mistake. & the owner is a coward who is only available when his establishment is making a sale. & a side note- one of my bridesmaids who is a plus sized woman was charged a $60 fee because her gown was over a size 14. They never mentioned the charge to either of us until I noticed she had paid more than the other girls. We were given rude, insensitive attitudes from Management when discussing this issue. Absolutely Disgraceful. As a bride one of the most exciting details of planning is your Wedding Gown- your experience should be fun & stress free. Unfortunately mine was not. It would have been less stressful & time consuming to travel to RK Bridal in Manhattan for the same dress

Let me start by saying that I stopped at Bridal Suite after going to Davids Bridal & being told that I was not allowed to try on any dresses without a bridal consultant & there were no bridal consultants available to help me. As I got back into the car with the plan of going home & continuing my search another day (I was aggravated, i admit), I remembered buying a dress for my junior prom at a little shop on Middle Country Rd. in Centereach. I couldnt remember the name of the place but did remember having a positive experience there. I was thrilled to see that Bridal Suite was exactly where I remembered it to be & hoped & prayed that they would let me try on some dresses without having an appointment with a consultant. They were wonderful from the minute I walked in the door. They were not pushy, they listened to what it was that I was looking for & went above & beyond in helping me decide on the right dress. I told them how much money I was prepared to spend & they never once tried to convince me to go over my budget. As a matter of fact, they showed me dresses that were out of my price range (according to the price tag) but told me not to worry about the tag...they would charge me what I had said I could spend. The owner is amazing! He was so helpful & it was great to have a mans opinion! I can honestly say that I will never go anywhere else in the future if I need a dress for a special occasion. When my daughter went for her first fitting she was 8 weeks pregnant and not even close to showing. Shell be 13 weeks at the time of the wedding and the seamstresses told us that the dress would never fit her and it would have to be remade and would look totally different. They said they would have to order extra material and lace from California and it probably wouldnt come in time and we should pick out a floor sample dress just in case. We took the dress to another seamstress, who has nothing to do with Bridal Suite, and not only does the dress look beautiful on her but it has to be taken in in spots, not made bigger. No extra material is needed. If we had listened to the people at Bridal Suite, my daughter wouldnt be wearing her dream dress.

Picking out my dress went well. Was happy with the consultant. Getting my dress fitted was a nightmare and ultimately failed. Poor workmanship-no attention to altering left and right sides in the same way on a lace dress. Put the wrong size cups in my dress which caused many fitting issues till I requested a change. Seamstresses kept saying pressing would fix the problem instead of addressing the issues which made the whole process take more appointments than I had time for. Still ended up bring my dress home and having to do several hours of work to fix it. I was lucky I can sew but not every bride can.

Nothing short of amazing!!! Leanne was perfect bridal attendant.. Had great advice .. And wonderful personality and helped me unexpectedly pick the wedding dress of my dreams.. They are amazing and would recommend to everyone that would listen.

Every time Ive been there I was treated very well. They even took the time for my mother after I was done finding a dress. I feel very lucky and happy for all their help so far. Thank you for making me feel like a princess.

poor customer service lie about cost on things alterizations are wrong and then they tell you that only the owner can do refunds which is a bogus lie I know the store can do a refund wouldnt recommend to any body
