I have to say my initial experience with this bridal store was great. I am a distance bride as I am at school in Buffalo and my maid of honor found my bridesmaid dresses here for a great price and the sales people I spoke to were friendly and helpful. I had 6 girls altogether purchase their dresses here. I am feeling very frustrated because unbeknownst to me because I was unable to attend the measuring and ordering of the dresses with all my girls, two out of my six girls were told they needed a size 18 (Which is an EXTRA CHARGE, which they did tell me at the beginning of this process, but I honestly did not think this would be an issue for any of my girls) Now I know I may be considered biased because they are my girls, but I will say they are not skinny as rails both had children 9 months prior to being measured, but I am telling you many would agree neither needed a size 18! there is just no way. One of these girls was smart enough to call after their appt and let Fantasia Bridal know she would not be needing a size 18 and ordered a 16 instead to be safe. My other girl swallowed the embarrassment, decided to go with their advice (she didnt want to tell me about it!) and ordered a size 18. Needless to say the dresses just came in and these girls have not lost a significant amount of weight between now and then mind you, and my cousins size 16 is way too big on her and my friends size 18 is huge! These will both need major alterations (Which will not be happening here!) I feel that my girls were taken advantage of by being told they needed a size that they clearly did not just because it upped the price! How ridiculous. I wouldnt think it was a scam if only one of them went through this, but both having similar experiences causes me some serious concern. At this point I realize there is not much to be done since the wedding is in July and the dresses are in, but I warn other brides and bridesmaids to proceed with extreme caution and question their judgement when it comes to sizing! Trust your instincts! I will also be contacting the designers company to let them know this is happening at this location.

STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS ONE! I wish there was a negative review for this salon! What a horrible experience! After trying on nearly 100 dresses, there was one at Fantasia Bridal. Still not the one, but good enough after trying on 100 dresses. As I was trying to make my decision to purchase the dress, I was told in March that the dress wouldnt be here until the beginning of August. Of course, being concerned that it would get here just in time for my October wedding, I jumped to order it as they made it seem like a life or death situation. The dress came in 9 days later. Most brides would be elated; I was not. I felt pressured into buying the dress and after I was told that it would be months, I was able to plan out how to pay for the remaining 50% on the dress. When it came in early, I was told the balance had to be paid within 30 days. The entire situation resembled a used car salesman stuffing a crappy car down your throat. In the beginning, I was told that alterations (other than bustle and bra) would cap at $500.00. When I told them I may want to alter the bottom of the dress, they said that I would have to come in and explain, and that it would most likely be more for alterations.Now that I have decided that I am not picking up the dress due to all of these horrendous issues, they are threatening to send me to collections. How these people sleep at night is beyond me. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!

Ive had the most amazing experience with this place! Ive sent 6 other brides to be there too and we all equally share this feeling. Its like trying on dressing in your home they are so welcoming. The owner goes above and beyond for you. I admit I didnt find a dress the first time I looked here. They called me the day after to see what went wrong and what they can do to help. After a conversation with what felt like a best friend Ive had for years, they suggest 5 or so other dresses for me to look at. Sure enough the very first suggestion they made was the absolute perfect dress for me! Since then my dress is now in and Im getting married next week. All my friends and even my cousin have had equally amazing experiences. They have an amazing selection of dresses at affordable prices. The staff is wonderful at what they do. They work together as a team which is something you dont see at other salons. Other places on Long Island it feels like everyone is just trying to make a sale! I cannot say enough good things about this place! Go!

In the past I wrote a negative review about Fanatasia after an issue with getting back my deposit. The owner, Alicia, caught wind of it a while after and looked into the matter. She not only reached out to me personally when she saw on facebook I needed glass vases for a school project, she offered them to me and also asked me for my information so she can send me a check of my full deposit since she looked into the matter herself and realized their FORMER sales associates were in the wrong. A couple days later not only did I recieve a check in the full amount of my deposit but a sweet card with it. I retract anything bad I had to say! Thank you, Alicia!

Fantasia Bridal was amazing, they made me feel like I was part of their family, by the time my wedding rolled around and my beautiful dress was finished I was sad that I wouldnt be seeing them anymore! I had a corset put into my dress and it was unbelievably beautiful. They worked with me on all the little details and if there was anything I needed they were always there to help. I fell in love with the ladies that helped me Gina, Alicia, Marie, and Candy! Gina came out to my hotel on my wedding day to tie up my dress and my bridesmaids dress and she brought me a personalized survival kit, I cant say enough good things about Fantasia!!

Went to Davids Bridal initally and it was a terrible experience. They had only 5 racks of selections, it was overpriced. I emailed Fantasias Bridal that same day, and they made special arrangments for me to get in the next day, I got my dream dress there at almost half asking price and found it in 1 hour. They were so nice and relatable. Although their alterations department was pricey I definatley think they should be the first option in your search.

Fantasia Bridal was suggested to us as the place to go for all our needs. Our wedding party had a wonderful experience at the salon. There are so many beautiful dresses to choose from at affordable prices -- flower girl, bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and especially the bridal gown. The service is exceptional.
