Hip hip hooray for this Southwest AutoNation location!!! After reading some of the other reviews on here I think its important people understand these reviews should pertain to the SOUTHWEST AutoNation NOT the Arapahoe location. I too had bad experiences at the Arapahoe location, but this Southwest location is fantastic! I HATE HATE HATE shopping, but I really LOATH car shopping for the simple reason that it seems like a sneaky game of how to minimize the ways in which you will be screwed over. Not at Southwest AutoNation though, its a great time with those guys on your team. I have never had a better customer service experience in my entire life. This was hands down the best shopping experience I have ever had. What had been a three month nightmare of avoiding getting had by other dealerships became a relaxed yet exciting experience at the Southwest AutoNation. I think it is important people also know I had visited numerous AutoNation locations before this one and had had a not so enjoyable experience. So, I even entered this location with a some-what negative attitude and was pleasantly surprised with OUTSTANDING customer service and overall support to get me in something I didnt just like, but something I LOVE and for well under my budget too! I would like to give a BIG thank you to Matt the sales associate who initially helped me and an even BIGGER thank you to John the used car sales manager for going above and beyond to help me get what I wanted as quickly as possible. While working with both of these two individuals they were very genuine and personable throughout the entire process, it was a nice change of pace from what I had been experiencing. From the very first conversation I had with this location (which was over the phone to inquire about their selection) I never felt that this location was attempting to take it to me. I first spoke with the sales associate Matt who actually helped me upon arrival for a test drive. I am very picky and extremely indecisive, but he was more than wiling to show me and let me test drive any car I was interested in. I also tend to ask a lot of questions like way more questions than the average shopper and he was very helpful and answered every question in full with details for me too. I wanted to speak with my significant other about the purchase and with no pressure what-so-ever the two provided me with some prices and sent me on my way. Never trying to convince me to buy right then and there or pressuring me to buy that same day. It was never an issue that I wanted time, it never felt like a high pressure sale and they even pulled the car off the lot for me so no one else could buy it as I was making up my mind. Once I decided to get the car it was discovered that the exact color I wanted was at a different location. was no issue to them and the team had my car delivered that same day and I returned the next day to pick it up. The next day when I went to pick it up Matt the sales associate I had been working with was off, but the used car sales manager John helped me and it became very clear to me very quickly why he was in a management position. I would highly recommend this specific AutoNation location for your car shopping needs. Even if you need to drive a bit to get there like me, it is well worth the trek.

Bought a 2005 Maxima (76K miles 1-owner) here in Dec of 2012. Ad on Craigslist had it listed at $8991. Arranged financing online and went to sign docs and drive car home. Noticed car had a bit of a whine in the engine compartment and knew that the timing chain and guides needed to be replaced but wasnt worried about it as I was getting a warranty on it. Went in to sign docs and base price had changed to $9491. $500 more than what we had agreed to in an email exchange with the internet dept. When queried by me why that was so, I was informed that "their 3rd party advertiser had made a mistake". So? How is that my problem? Went ahead with the deal. Took car back 2 weeks later to get timing chain looked at and sure enough it and the guides needed to be replaced. I asked that the transmission also be looked at since it was rabbit hunting occasionally. I was told there was nothing wrong with the transmission and to bring it back if it starts "clunking". Being this is the 3rd Maxima Ive owned, I know all about the Gen6 Maximas problems, hence the purchase of an extended warranty. So, I pick up the vehicle a week later and the A/C doesnt cool. I take it back the following Monday. Whoever did the timing chain repair broke one of the A/C lines. So they have my car there for another week. 4 months later and a few trips up in the mountains force me to take the car back for them to look at and repair the transmission. They call me 3 days later and tell me that both of the motor mounts are broken. And I am to assume that they did not realize that back in January? Or at least even look at them? They certainly had not broken while I was driving it. Those were replaced a week ago to the day. Now, they have had my car for 10 days, and I am being told (after I called them as I had not heard from them in 6 days) that they are still waiting for the warranty companies inspector to show up. And last, but not least, I kept wondering why the hood and trunk paint appeared to be flat and not as shiny as the rest of the car. Took it to local detail shop a few weeks ago and they show me the swirl marks all over the roof from whoever detailed it previously (assuming at the dealership) and tell me that the clearcoat has been completely burned off the car on the roof and the trunk deck lid and that it would probably cost about 1K to make it right. So basically, the car they sold me had a timing chain and guides that needed to be replaced, 2 broken motor mounts, a bad transmission, and clearcoat completely burned off of the paint. I am not happy and feel this car had nothing looked at when it was taken in on trade and certainly had nothing done to it before they presented for sale other than it started and had 4 tires on it. Should the GM read this post, you have my cell, feel free to give me a call. Thanks!

Absolutely horrible experience, in one transaction Arapahoe Nissan dropped the ball and gave me a car buying nightmare. Although you may not have a bad experience as well I would make my decision carefully before I signed any paperwork with this company of poor character and lack of integrity. I purchased a car cash from Arapahoe Nissan. During the test drive I even spoke with the service manager who gave the car rave reviews. He mentioned is was incredibly low mileage for the year and the one previous owner had all the service done at this location. The car seemed solid and they had gained my trust, I believed I had made a good decision in purchasing the car. *Less than thirty days later the motor emitted a horrible sound, I immediately brought the car in. *I was told the car had been inspected and the timing chain had failed. * The approval to have the car repairs took about a week to complete. *Another week goes by and we learn a rod baring was actually the culprit which was missed in the initial inspection. *I then had to wait another two weeks for approval for the warrantee to replace the entire motor and the motor to arrive. * The motor that came in was used with 47k and a 12month 12 thousand mike warrantee. * Another week goes by for install a flywheel bolt was stripped and delayed the process *I finally receive the car back and within a few hours I have a check engine light, I return it and they say a vacuum line was improperly put on. * A short time later I find out the passenger side engine mount was missing a bolt and the other two bolts were not tightened down. * I later find out the a/c system was not recharged after the motor replacement and no longer worked. * I speak with the GM who offers me a deal on a different car in the lot and he would take my car as a trade. He did make a point that he would give me less than I paid for my car because me putting miles on it. * The new car was not yet available so he told me to come in the next Thursday. * I drove across town the next Thursday and a sales associate said the car was not ready, the GM was unavailable. * I then left the GM a voice mail to call me when the car was ready, I have yet to hear from him to this day. I have picture documentation to back up all of these claims, I was completely failed by Autonation Nissan Arapahoe.
